Over the series of experiences I've had, it was strangely somewhere in the middle. The positive side was that they were incredibly responsive. The customer service is on point and the attitude of their management is definitely a class act. I have no doubt this is a major driver for their most positive reviews and deservedly so. The part where I struggle is the mixed experiences from the various technicians that had come to one of my properties that had an ant, cockroach, and spider problem. The initial $160 was a bit higher than I expected, but a small price that I was willing to pay to rid the property of creepy crawlers. Jason and Servando (sp) extremely brief in their initial run of the place. Even after their treatment, I still saw plenty of spider action where it was clear were not that thorough. After explaining my situation to their staff, they assigned the manager at the time, Daniel, to come back and apply treatment the way he intended. He went nuclear with a whole host of sprays and was extremely thorough both inside and out. His work made a world of difference and there was very little bug activity for close to a year. He was thorough in his explanaition and super transparent with his approach. If every experience was this thorough I think I'd be more receptive to future service. He has unfortunately left the company. Typically they recommend treatment 3 to 4 months. The subsequent visits after my initial concerns were not charged, which I'm thankful for but should not have taken that many times just to get the desired result. It was close to $250 for carpet ant treatment, which felt out of my budget but was assured that the chemicals would be different than the standard ones used for treatment. I was presented with a 30 and 60-day warranty which is fine but not something I elected to go for this past time around. While I'm sure they've done stellar work for other households and other properties, I do wish that I was able to experience the same magic on a consistent basis.

We were having awful bug infestation, ants coming in our home in every bedroom in every restroom, just everywhere. We've also had wasps coming in our home (very terrifying) we had spiders also coming and we also had roaches in our garage basically everything! I called Mr. Miguel to inform him about our situation he answered all of my questions and my doubts, he was very respectful at all times. He informed me of the two options we had the one time work or even the one year when they comes 3x a year service, Mr. Miguel explained both options very well and we had to do the one year just in case our situation came back and so far I'm writing this probably 2/3 weeks after our treatment and I have not seen no bugs no more! Mr. Miguel employees were very respectful of our home informed us when they were coming in even had cover ups for there shoes! and were very sweet and nice. I honestly recommend Mr. Miguel to anyone who is in need of pest control! Literally the best.

Before closing on a new home Insect Assassins Pest Control (Mike Odom) was hired to inspect the…read morehome specifically for termites as the homeowners indicated previous treatment for termites in the disclosure. At the conclusion of Mr. Odom's inspection he provided a report stating - signs of previous termites identified by drill marks and sellers disclosure and indicated N/A for visible termites at the time of his inspection on July 7, 2019. After closing on the house 2 days later our contractor discovered multiple active visible termite infestations around the home including the window seals and the area previously treated for termites in which he indicated the drill marks in his report(however he stated N/A for visible termites). Mr. Odom failed to do his due diligence and thoroughly inspect the home even after he was aware of previous termite issues and treatments based on his assessment. He was provided with information beforehand(homeowners disclosure stating previous termite treatment) and failed to uphold his obligations required by law to inspect the property in it's entirety. We now know that there were obvious signs of a termite infestation upon his evaluation( we have photos and videos to corroborate this evidence). Due to the lack of care given to this inspection and Mr. Odom's negligence we have had to make very costly repairs, In addition to consulting an attorney. I have attempted to communicate with Mr. Odom to resolve this matter, however he accepts no responsibility for his failure to provide the appropriate service he was paid to conduct . He stated that he feels no obligation nor intends to reimburse us for any repairs resulting from his failure to sufficiently inspect the property and provide us with an accurate report of the property before it was purchased. If he would have provided an accurate report we could have had this issue addressed before we closed on the property. He in no way has tried to resolve this issue, he did not even offer to come out after the fact and conduct another inspection of the property and treat any active termite infestations after the home was purchased. It is extremely disheartening to work with a company with little to no integrity and does not stand behind their work, service, or product. He was paid to provide a service and failed miserably.

Their recommendation was to tent the entire house, which would have been very expensive and a major disruption to our lives. Before committing, I read some reviews online and called Bug State for a second opinion. Ken came out, did a preliminary inspection, and wasn't convinced we had termites. Rather than guess, he recommended removing some of the exterior wall panels to see what was really going on. Once the panels were off, he came back and inspected again: no termites, just ants. What a relief. Ken is extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. He took the time to find the actual answer instead of selling me an expensive treatment I didn't need. If another company is pressuring you into tenting, get a second opinion from Bug State first. Or better yet, call Bug State first the initial look.
