UPDATE 5/15/20: I filed a dispute with PayPal on April 13. On April 21, the seller had still not responded so the next step was to escalate to a PayPal claim. I just received notice from PayPal today that they decided the case in my favor and are refunding the amount. I never did get any response from BB Crafts regarding the refund for items not shipped! They probably count on people not following through with PayPal or credit card disputes. =============== My advice: Better use a payment method that handles claims against merchants! The supplies that I received were fine, no better or worse than I expected. However, the packing slip did not indicate that any items were missing - and I was charged the full amount of the order as it was submitted. It was a large order so good thing I checked everything in the box against my order list! 6 items were missing. I emailed the company and (eventually) got a response days later, telling me that "out of stock" items would be refunded. I have sent 2 additional follow-up emails since then because I have not received a refund. It's been 3 weeks with no response and no refund. I have now filed a dispute and claim through PayPal. Hopefully I'll see a refund through PayPal. Honest customer service - or lack there of - can make or break a business. What a shame! read more

As we speak. I'm am trying to receive my refund for an error that was not done on my part. Initally when I made my purchase, I put my P.O. Box as a form of address (which screwed all this up). FedEx in Otay, Ca (which will get their review next for lying) took my information wrong, address was missing a number. They then returned to sender. (Once again not my fault). I order 175.00 worth of ribbon. And so far have been refunded a total amount of...drum rollllllll, 33.00. Does this sound remotely fair? Also you never deal with someone personally which is horrible. Be prepared to do live chat when dealing with company. Also never received email confirmation of the packaged being return or what kind refund was being processed. I ordered 28 rolls of ribbon for overnight delivery. They charged me for the ribbon and $128 for overnight delivery. The rolls didnt come in for a week. When I called, they called me back 2 days later blaming the Covid19 for lack of response saying Covid19 somehow effected their phone service???? When the rolls finally came in, they shorted me 8 rolls. They wanted me to send a picture to prove they shorted the box. I sent a picture of the box which was completely packed (you couldnt fit another roll in it) so it was obviously short 8 rolls. They then stopped responding to me. I ordered 3 rolls of 4 inch copper mesh ribbon and received 3 rolls of 21 in tricolor ribbon. Can not get anyone to return an email or answer the phone. It took 4 attempts and 2 days for someone to respond to the online chat. Was told I had to pay to return the incorrect items, get refunded and order again. The cost to mail back from the East Coast is more than double what I paid because the items received are 5 times the size of what I ordered. Very disappointed with their service. They messed up my order and shipped the wrong color ribbon and refused to resolve my order by shipping the correct ribbon. Instead I was told to place another new order - which I would have to incur another shipping cost. Horrible customer service if there's any issues with your order. In addition their site supply isn't updated. The site allows you to order ribbon that's not available. If you have color dependencies you can get partial order refunded but you wouldn't know this until it arrives. This happens often. read more

I ordered 2 rolls of ribbon. I received my order and the ribbon was see through sheer but the web site photo did not show this. The ribbon was also listed as thick wire edges but the wire is very thin. I contacted BBCrafts and they responded only to look up their return policy which is you pay for shipping and there is a 20% restocking fee. Not for a product that doesn't match the description!!! I responded that I wanted a return label and full refund due to product misrepresentation. BBCraft responded asking for a picture of the ribbon and the item sticker, I sent then both. BBCraft responded back that I got the correct product and I could only initiate a return. Well if you were ever going to take time to read a review, THIS IS THE ONE TO READ TO SAVE YOURSELF A HUGE HEADACHE ! If I could give less than one star I would trust me ! So I ordered for the first time from this company after reading their online reviews on their site (remember this because it will be important). I placed approximately a 250.00 order for my business as I use ribbon daily. I also paid for upgraded 5 day ground shipping $16.00. Processing time was way past what they stated, but I still waited. My shipment that I paid upgraded shipping for did not arrive as scheduled, and didn't arrive even the next day, and as I write this I still don't have it. So as any normal person I contact the company to find out where the shipment is and how I get a refund for the upgraded shipping as they did not provide a service I paid for. No phone reps so I used chat and spoke with Alex (who I see has spoken to others leaving reviews). He informed me that they would not be refunding any shipping cost. Read some of the reviews below in regard to this, as I am not alone. Charging people for this service and not providing it certainly adds up for them doesn't it ? When you try to reason with him and explain that they did not provide a service they were paid for he states "that's not a guarantee", no apologies, no help, just a condescending attitude and then will disconnect you from chat when you try to hold them accountable. Well now I am looking for the package and call Fed Ex to see where it was as they shipped through Fed Ex. Package hadn't moved in over 24 hours, they tell me they can no longer give me a delivery date and I should contact the company for a refund for the shipping and the products. I contact this company again, same rep Alex who when I questioned about how a refund for the order would work, he stated "once Fed EX says its lost or stolen" they would refund my SHIPPING COSTS. I then asked him what about the cost of the 230.00 worth of ribbon, he once again disconnected me from Chat. He also stopped answering on chat and put up a message to just leave a message. So I left him a message that I will be contacting my bank and will be filing a claim against them which I have done, because he left me no other option. Interestingly enough I left a negative review on their site about this situation and mysteriously it disappeared, so I left a second one and took a screenshot of it posted, within minutes it was gone as well. I wonder why that is, we all KNOW why it is. I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU NOT TO DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. They clearly do not care about customer satisfaction, and must have a real problem with people leaving a truthful professional review about a customers experience ! Who runs a business this way ? So I fully intend to file a report with the FTC and the BBB. So here I am out 250.00, no ribbon and had to file claims with my bank to just get my money back, if that even happens from what some of the other reviews I have read stated. I would never deal with them again. They need to be held accountable for the way they treat customers, and their orders. Please DO order from them if you like to pay for services you won't get, pay for products you won't get until God knows when if ever, and to be disrespected by a chat rep who is insulting and condescending who disconnects you when you ask legitimate questions regarding a refund. Not to mention the headache they cause for customers like myself and others trying to get what they PAID FOR ! BUYER BEWARE!!!!! I placed an order for 50 red chair sashes (5 packs of 10) for a Valentines day dinner party. I received 5 red table runners!!! I attempted to call the customer service center via the CA telephone number but it appeared to be out of service. I used the chat option and was told to send an email via the provided link and attach photos. From reading the other reviews, my opinion is that this company smells fishy. They are not ethical in their business practices. I will not spend additional money to return the items only to have my refund sacked up with bogus fees. I've reported them to PayPal but is still waiting on a response from them. I have been ordering from this company for 4 years now and have been completely satisfied until recently. I run my own custom birthday shop and order a lot of tulle and ribbon. First of all their prices are great and their shipping used to be around $10 to $12 and you would get your order in just a few days! Since I order a lot of tulle on the bolt, they would mail it in a large box, now not only do they charge $17 for shipping and have to wait 5 days for them to fill your order, only after contacting them to find out what is going on with my order, they have been folding the tulle bolt in half and mailing it in a large envelope! Seriously? Now my tulle is wrinkled in the middle! So with this last order that came today, the hot pink ribbon I ordered is NOT hot pink, it's a few shades lighter then the previous hot pink ribbon I ordered but the tulle...the tulle didn't even come on a bolt! Are you joking!? They sent me 40 yards of tulle with no cardboard to keep it nice. I'm so over this company. On to somewhere else. GROSS MISREPRESENTATION OF COLORS ON WEBSITE I ordered customized ribbon from this site and made my color choice based on the pictures from their website. The "dusty rose" color that I chose looks like a dark red on their website, which made sense to me based on the name. When the ribbon arrived, it was bright pink!!! It looks NOTHING like their picture! When I called, the terrible customer service supervisor continued to reference their disclaimer that you should request color samples prior to placing an order, and there are not refunds or exchanges. I am not very picky, so I would have been fine if it was anywhere in the color family that they show on their site, but this was bright pink! I am extremely dissatisfied with the misrepresentation and the service, and I would never order from them again, or recommend to anyone else. I've been a customer at BBCrafts for over 7 years. I have a small business and use their ribbons to create many of my items. Because I run a small company, keeping my products consistent and my customers happy is very important to me. Recently I have received ribbons that don't match up to what is shown online nor is it the same as previous orders from this company. Because of this, I wanted to see if I could order ribbon samples of some of the ribbons I need to be sure the colors are correct. You can not call, only a live chat is available. The service is terrible. They are unsympathetic to any sort of issue. The only suggestion they had is I could apply for a return. IF approved, I would then be able to ship the unwanted ribbon back to them but I would have to pay the return shipping fees AND would be charged a 20% restock fee. Apparently, you are not able to speak with a manager who might be better able to handle this type of situation. They seem to prefer you to spend a bunch of money in hopes the colors will be what you have previously received or seen online and then if that does not happen, they are perfectly fine with inconveniencing you with filing a claim, shipping and reordering. Absurd. I will say, their prices are great which is why I have continued to shop with them for so long. Given their lack of care and service, I will be searching for a new vendor who puts their customers as a priority. read more

I bought quite a bit of ribbon from them a year ago and was extremely disappointed with the what I received. It looked as though it had been picked up off the warehouse floor, wrapped onto a spool and sent. Out of 20 or so spools, almost all of them were damaged. I sent several emails to the company and did not receive a single reply. I then left poor reviews on the items that I purchased which they removed from their site (hence the 5 star ratings for their own site!!). So, I placed an order this year with wholesaleribbons.us thinking it was a different company. After placing the order, I decided to look up the address and found that BB Crafts, Fuzzy Fabric and Wholesale Ribbons all shared the same address. Take note, all of the 5 star reviews on yelp are also from the same area of California too. I am a wedding decorator based out of the midwest and I recently needed to order a large amount of white tulle. I made the mistake of thinking this was a company based out of California, everything is setup to appear like they are a US based company, THEY ARE NOT A US COMPANY. That in itself is not an issue, the issue comes from the fact that they set me the wrong color tulle, when I contacted them to solve the issue there were two major problems, 1. Their chat function employee gave me a scripted, you can return the materials, pay for the shipping again and a 20% restocking fee. And then 2.When asked to talk to someone either higher up or over the phone he disconnected the chat. I proceeded to search for an actual phone number, found one and called it, i did get a woman on the phone and my experience went so far downhill from there. She proceeded to insist that the color issues were my fault ( I put the correct color in my order), that no matter what if I need the correct color that I would have to pay the fee and shipping and that in no way shape or form do they stand by the product that they are selling. read more

Well, I received an email that it was sent out a fews days later and I had a deadline that I needed it by. The supervisor I spoke with said I made my order on a saturday and argued with me about it. They call themselves wholesale , the only reason they are doing that because the law allows wholesale to have shortages on the yards up to 10 yards. But they forgot that wholesale means 1000 yards 10000 yards not a roll of 25 yards or 50. They also put disclaimers that they can be short up to 10 yards on everything or you can purchase a roll of something and it can be cut in places, sewn together, glued together it dosent matter they have a main office in Canada so the U.S laws dont affect them but they ship from California , so this is the first trick for the customers. I purchased a roll of organza and I needed 25 yards of a straight peice. I didn't want my project done from pieces I wanted it to look nice. There was not 25 yards and it was damaged in serveralplaces. When I wrote to them I was Iinformed that if I purchased a roll of 25 yards I can be short of up to 10 of them and that's okay abd normal and my piece can be cut three times and thats also okay.i couldnt do my project, but I couldnt understand how can a company be so rude and rip off the customer.so next morning I gave them a call I thought it was a rude custoner service person and that a different person would make it better, apologize and send me a replacement. But I was wrong. When I called Iit was even worst they just keep telling you they gave a policy and thatsokay thats why I am taking the ttime to inform others to stay away from here.i have a small buisness myself but this service is horrible. I was never treated like this. Be carful when doing business with them. And just be carful because invthe disclaimer they say if you get a virus cron them they are also not responsible. As a floral business owner, this is the worst experience I have ever had with a supplier! I ordered a bolt of ribbon for a wedding. It arrived with creases in it so I alerted them for a replacement immediately. After not hearing from them for 24 hours I called and was told I would receive a message. That message stipulated that I had to send photos. I was shocked! I have never had my integrity questioned, especially over a mere $7 bolt of ribbon. By this time I was out of town for a family funeral so had someone take multiple photos and send. In response I got another email saying that now they wanted photos that included the barcode with the defective ribbon. But, to top it all off the message also said the ribbon was now out of stock and I needed it this week for a wedding on Saturday (which I told them from the beginning). I sent the photos with the barcode so I can hopefully get a refund, but I certainly do not appreciate that they insulted my honesty yet again. Why didn't they check on the availability of the ribbon when I alerted them that what was sent was defective. If it was out of stock at that time I could have looked for another vendor. If it was in stock they could have set a bolt aside for the replacement. Now I will have to substitute ivory for color and have a disappointed bride because after a week of dealing with this I cannot get what I need! This is ridiculous, insulting, and absurd.
