The kid's play area was nice and clean with padded floors and very safe for the tiny people. All the kid loved it and had a great time. I met the owner DJ, who actually has 4 of his own which are the stickers on the wall. He was very kind to us while we were tidying up our belongings (he had another party booked shortly after). Highly recommend for toddler parties!

I've been following Teeny Town on Instagram for a while, but we just had an opportunity to visit on a random Thursday morning. Teeny Town's online reservation and waiver signing process is straightforward and you get an instant email confirmation. It was $12 for 2-hours of weekday play which is an absolute steal. I found there to be ample free parking at Teeny Town. Checking in was a breeze and when I noted that it was our first time, the person at the front desk gave us a brief rundown and, in a first when it comes to indoor play centers, I was told that if my daughter put something in her mouth, to just make sure to deposit it. As a mom, I appreciate that they maintain that standard of cleanliness. I like the configuration of the space with a wide, flat open area with a faux road running through the middle. My little one had a ball taking various cars and other ride-on toys town the runway and also running around freely. There are also portions of the space where kids can climb and also enjoy using their imagination - a restaurant, grocery, medical clinic, two houses (one with construction themed toys and one with laundry themed toys), a barber chair and nook with books. Another highlight was a slide and ball pit that my daughter absolutely loved. There are spaces for parents to sit and watch their kids both at the front entrance area and toward the ball pit. I like that you could probably sit in either place and get a good enough view of the entire space and where your child is. Overall, we were really happy with our visit and I wish this business lot of ongoing success and possibly even an expansion.

While perfect for families due to large spacious rooms and the pool, this is also a great option for those looking for an affordable, convenient, and comfortable spot for business site visits in all industries. Just minutes away from the highway, you'll have access to all the tech and biotech companies that harbor in the Bay Area, even those located on the peninsula. Within walking distance or a short drive, you'll also gain access to the local supermarket, theater and delicious restaurants and takeout shops. With a small parking lot, you'll be able to keep tabs on your vehicle and won't have to walk very far unless you're parked in another lot due to capacity. There are a few dedicated spots for their preferred "Diamond" members but there are still plenty of spots for other visitors. Either way, you'll just be steps away from the lobby where the staff will be able to support you with smiles and provide you with complimentary bottled waters and snacks for purchase. Once you're checked in, head up to your spacious room (for us, we had a double queen) and chill out in the well air-conditioned paradise. The bathroom is clean and stocked up with amenities like shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. You'll have plenty of towels and like many other hotels, you may ask for more if required. Just don't forget to tip! You'll also have access to their TV which is connected to a live cable feed as well as digital apps that allow you to watch movies or shows with minimal commercial interruption. If you're a subscriber to any of the major streaming services, you'll also be able to log in and continue your binge watching. Just be sure to log out before you checkout! You'll also have complimentary WiFi for your own devices. After a good nights rest, head downstairs to the lobby and grab some breakfast which is served early starting at 6 and ending at 10. You'll have your choice of hardboiled/scrambled or omelet eggs, sausage/bacon, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal/cereal, toast/bagel, and waffles. The waffle station is the highlight for us as you get to make mini waffles and top them with syrup, whipped cream, sprinkles - the whole shebang! For drinks, you'll be able to grab some juices, coffee or milk. If you're up for it, be sure to venture into the indoor pool with depths of 4 feet to 7 feet with about a length of 15 feet. It's small and intimate for those looking for a quick plunge. Overall, the Hampton Inn in Union City continues to serve locals and visitors alike with the utmost hospitality. Amenities are plentiful, prices are reasonable and location is convenient (for those who have cars). The fixtures may be a bit dated but everything is functional and clean. If you're in need of a hotel, consider staying at the Hampton!

Some of my work locations are in Oakland, but I don't wanna stay too close in Oakland for obvious reasons. Oakland was the only In N Out location to ever close due to crime in the parking lot! So, Union City it is! This location is super easy freeway access just off the 880 at the Alvarado Niles exit. Speaking of In N Out, there's one right across the street from this hotel! Check in was easy, no problems, got my rewards points posted, and got my room no prob. Friendly staff and clean hotel. It has all the usual amenities, but I'm not gonna get a chance to use the pool or gym, gotta do my work. Speaking of work, the WiFi was working no prob and a decent speed. The desk was comfortable as was the bed. The bathroom was clean and no stray hairs not my color laying about. The water pressure in the shower was good and endless hot water. The free breakfast was up as usual, and the same food basically as all the IHG Holiday Inns. Eggs, omelet folded thingys, bread to toast and hot coffee and juices. I can't forget those fab cinnamon rolls at all the Holiday Inn Expresses! I usually get breakfast early when they put it out and go back to my room to eat and be on the internet. So, far, this stay is fine and I'd stay at this location again.

Fairview Metropolitan - Sad Photo Booth with no backdrop due to not being allowed into the tent to set it up. Management admitted it was an oversight.

My husband and I regret having our wedding here. I waited months to write this review in hopes that…read moremy anger would subside but I just get more upset the more I think about how poorly this team handled our wedding. I will preface by saying we were refunded a small portion of what we paid due to the numerous errors made by Fairview Metropolitan. We had around 5 meetings here for wedding planning. Each time, the venue tent was so eloquently set up for the weddings or quinces hours in advance. I had so much confidence that our wedding would be treated the same, but it was sloppily thrown together in less than an hour. This venue had another event before our 5pm wedding. I had never seen two events on any of the days that we went in, and was not told that this would happen on our wedding day. It wouldn't have been a problem, I understand they are a business and prioritize profit, however the event before us was still occupying the tent when I got there at 4pm. The manager Shelley told me that they "could not get them to leave". My husband and guests state that the previous event finally vacated the tent around 4:05pm, leaving the team with 55 minutes to sloppily throw together our ceremony and banquet. Shelley informed me that there were three sick calls that day, leaving the management to do the set up. They completely misnumbered the tables, leaving all of our immediate family sitting in the back row. It was THEIR seating chart. With everything going on, we didn't notice until dinner had started. This error is absolutely inexcusable from a wedding venue. Since they only had less than an hour to set up our for our event, my husband and groomsmen offered to help tie the ~135 chair ties and had to stand on a ladder to help place the drapes on the ceremony awning. I don't see how the staff could have completed this without my party's help. Our guests had to wait in the cafe because nothing, including the ceremony chairs, was set up for our wedding until after 4pm. The cafe has limited seating and we had 134 guests. I had so much trust that this team would treat my wedding how I've seen them treat other weddings and quinces. If I had known this was all going on, I would have gone to facilitate and double check their inadequate work. Other major issues: 1. The food service started late and ran out and ended early. We were told there would be enough food for seconds for everyone, so we decided not to bring a lechon and lumpia. Huge mistake. Being from Asian and Hispanic backgrounds, we were completely embarrassed that the food ran out. There was not even enough bread for seconds. We even had 5 no shows so there's no excuse. 2. There were not enough appetizers. Many of our guests did not get any. 3. Our guests were told that the bar could not provide shots. That was not in our contract and alternatives were not offered. 4. The top layer of our cake was saved when it should have been served. This was in our plan, and it just went to waste rather than enjoyed by our guests. 5. They were understaffed by 3, however no one stayed over to accommodate for that. The management left before 8. Because the seating chart got completely misnumbered, there were tables without settings. Our friends had to SHARE FORKS because they could not find any staff. 6. There was no staff to guide our photographers to the banquet room as stated in the event order paperwork. They had to sit on the floor in the corner. So embarrassing 7. The manager didn't allow my husband to set up our DIY Photo Booth, breaking the contract because we should have been able to start setting up at 4. They even told us the day before that we could go at 3:30. This left us without our photo out even set up. My husband had to set it up during the wedding and we didn't have our backdrop. The good things about the venue: 1. Dog friendly 2. Trish was a great coordinator, I wish she could have managed the set up for our wedding instead of Shelley and Angela. My family said that they wouldn't even let her in to set up either and said she looked like the only person who actually care about our wedding. 3. The cake, dj, and flowers were great While the management's response was apologetic, there were so many excuses including "they're human and make mistakes". I understand this, but the numerous significant errors made on our wedding day felt almost intentional. I think the fraction of a refund was just to get me to stop complaining and not escalate the matter. Considering we paid for the elite package for 126 adults and 8 kids in July (most expensive package with highest facility fees), I thought we would've been treated at least as well as the other events that we saw. Fairview Metropolitan fell so short of how I've personally seen them perform and caused us so much embarrassment and shame on from our wedding day. I could never recommend it to anyone. I would say so much more if there wasn't a character limit. Huge thumbs down.

They do serve lunch to 2pm. We were here to have lunch and then take pictures at their lavender farm. Hopping to catch some blooming lavender. Sadly, it was mostly a green garden w not much blooming lavender. There were a few other flowers blooming tho. Upon arrival.... Pros 1) plenty of parking. 2) location was plain but pretty and clean. 3) they had like 4 to 8 tables on the front by the parking area where you walk in. I saw a few people eating there. 4) they had a beautiful wooden table in the back on the grassy area with 6 chairs around it. That's where we sat for lunch. Our reservation was at 12pm. We got seated right away. Today was perfect to eat outside. There is no indoor seating or a restaurant here. I didn't see any. 5) there is a gift shop. But we didn't make it to see the inside 6) they serve salads and sandwiches here for lunch. Very simple and short menu. Their soup of the day today was tomato bisque. 7) our sandwiches and salads tasted fine. But salads are large portions. I could have shared my chicken salad with another. Sandwiches are normal size. Enough for one person. 8) Drinks were ok. Water tasted good. No funky or metal taste to it. 9) two porter potty bathroom but clean. Not the typical blue porter potties at putdoor events. A little nicer and it flushes. 10) our server was very nice. Cons 1) it took a long time to get our meals once we ordered. We were seated at 12pm. But we didn't get our salads and sandwiches till like an hourish later. By the time our foods came out, we sat to catch up and eat, and celebrate a bday, it was like 1:45ish already. Gift shop closes at 2pm. 2) our young server seems like she's still in training. But she was good. Wish they check on their customers more often. But maybe she was the only one taking orders. I don't know. 3) Conclusion This location was nice. Clean. Pretty. There wasn't any lavender blooming when we were there. But I heard it's a hit and miss to catch it in bloom too get beautiful pictures. It's ok though. We found other areas to get nice photos in. Foods were ok. Meh. But salads looked pretty and in large portions. Chicken on the salads were perfectly made. It was juicy and not dry. Each of our plates were $18. There is a small drinks menu. With both their menus being short, it made it so much easier to order something. Love that no one rushed us out after 2pm. We were allow to take our time on the area to take photos. They were setting up for a 4pm wedding. Not to bad here.
