On January 5, 2025 around 1:00pm I called BB Nails to schedule a pedicure with Nene. Nene is usually quiet and delivers a great service. However today I was treated very rude by Nene & Kim. Nene was doing my pedicure when she started polishing the application wasn't even on one toe. Kim who was not even servicing me came over and claimed it was skin from my cuticles not true And started talking loud and getting an attitude. I remained calm and said I just want my service done correctly. Upon leaving and still giving Nene a tip as a paid I was told by Kim that Nene no longer wanted to service me and basically they were never going to service me again. I would definitely like to speak with the manager regarding this as I pay different prices each time I go. The place comes off as racist and a lot of black women give their hard earn money to this business only to be treated like trash. I would also like to report this to the local news. And also believe Kim lied on Nene. I asked to speak with owner she said she was the owner. Please be aware of this business. No one deserves the type of treatment I received today. This place is fantastic! The workers are very attentive and good at what they do. As a gift, my boyfriend and I went together and they took care of us so well. I choose gel for my fingers and I got the matching color on my toes! We got the basic pedicure and it felt delightful! They are so well mannered and make sure everything is perfect! Super nice. She reused nail clippers, cuticle nippers and nails files that she had already used with her previous client. As someone that is currently attending Beauty school I can tell you that this place is trash and unsanitary and I will be reporting this establishment so it can hopefully get shut down. This place is great! I work nearby so decided to pop in while traffic died down. I called before I came just to check the prices on a shellac polish change. The girl on the phone told me $20 but when I got there they told me $25 because I already had polish. I was a little annoyed at that but they were pleasant so I stayed. The facility is incredibly clean. I love the minimal decor and open feel. They play very soft music and don't talk much which is really nice for relaxing. The girl did a good job on my fingers and was very gentle. She did try to up-sell a hand massage to me, but she wasn't pushy when I declined which is nice. They offer a wide selection of shellac colors. They also give you a little punch card for a reward after so many visits. I'll definitely be coming back in two weeks. :) read more

Today I called for an appointment and I specified the Technician Kim coz she does an excellent job .. so I was given a spot for tomorrow at 6 pm and then after maybe an hour receive a VM of Kim saying sorry I cannot take you .. So I return the call and spoke to one staff and I ask why my appointment had been cancelled and I was told we have a problem with you .. What ??? What is the problem??? I think they were frustrated with me coz I made a negative review of one of their technician that does not do a good job .. I was just trying to verbalize of the bad experience I had of one of their staff . In which that should had been a heads up to the management to prevent unhappy customer for that specific Tech name Nene . Management don't know how to address the complaint of a customer .. I have utilized BB nails for a few months on and off with a few encounters that gave me pause... But I decided to continue to go because it's easy to walk in and not have a wait (but that is not a good thing always). I received a refill, pedi and brow wax (brows are consistently done well).... Which is really reasonable about $48 - $55 plus tip....but the Customer service is always a bit odd, because they are not very personable.... But ok, my nails are rocking I can deal with no smiles and a few growls. However, you get what you pay for so.... refill was done on a Sunday nails broken Monday, then pedicure polish chipped by Thursday . Consistently this occurred with repairs and refills broken / chipped nails. The polish recedes, so I would go back for polish in between refills. Needless to say attention to detail is just not there. Although the salon is empty the mani/pedi are not combined adding an additional hour to the service, as 4 others are on Facebook.... Unfortunately, they are not aware (or care) how to ensure each client has a great experience. read more

Being new in town i was nervous to find a new nail salon. Roxstar was close to my house and had a good review so i thought i would give it a try. First impression: BEAUTIFUL decor and nice new machines and furniture! I think it's a nice touch that all the employees are wearing matching smocks... The appearance over-all is very classy! Helen did my manicure and i always get a french manicure which i love the look of, but they don't last long... She suggested to put a top layer of the clear gel over the top to protect it... Such a smart idea! i don't know why nobody ever suggested doing that before! My nails look great and the price was lower than i expected. I'm very very very happy with the whole experience! This rating was hard because the girl that did my nails was really good and neat with them. She cleaned my nails beds and cuticles up nicely. For that, I want to give her a 4 out of 5, but that is one of the only good things about here. Some other pros were the chairs and pedicure chairs were comfy. The place looked well kept. They are on the cheaper side of costs for manis and pedis. The cons, there was only 2 ladies working in a Saturday! And customers were coming in and calling. They needed at least 2 other girls... One customer almost left without getting anything because they booked me with the lady she wanted and never booked her! Then, since I am a shellac girl, I obviously love a quality and quantity line of shellac colors. With that said, they maybe had 20. Now that may sound like a lot if you don't know shellac, but it is not. Most places now carry 50+ shades and glitter shellac too. So don't come here if you are needing a special color because they just have all the basic colors, nothing in between. They do designs but I can't really comment on that, since I didn't try it. Luckily I just needed a basic color because my nails were in dyer need of it. All in all I would come back again if I have to, but only to Helen. This is not my first choice I'm nail salons. If they get more staff and more selections in shellac, then I will def reconsider. read more

BB's is a hidden gem. Found this nail salon after dropping off clothes off at the cleaners (great work and expensive dry cleaners) next door. Taylor was opening the doors to the shop and I asked if she does pink and white refills. She was pleasant and confident when she replied, yes. Best decision made that day. Taylor and her team of nail technicians did an amazing job! I was beyond pleased with my pink/white refill including the shape. Pedicure treatment was soothing, my feet received a thorough cleaning/scrub and eyebrow wax arched and thick...perfect. Prices are in line with the industry, clean location and professional. Taylor and Tracy both do excellent acrylic nail enhancements. Their shaping is on point; always thin yet strong and well sculpted. They have an ample selection of UV gel or shellac polish including metallic powders and thermal color changing ones to choose from. It also seems like they can generally accommodate walk ins during reasonable times. Their prices are competitive for the area and the salon is clean with a pleasant atmosphere as well. read more

After visiting several other nail salons in Pearland, BBs offer good customer service, a clean environment, and quality products. They pride themselves on providing quality service, not quantity. Therefore, they have few employees and it's best to make appointments to avoid waiting. I find that Taylor knows her returning customers by name, which is uncommon. read more

This place had good reviews, so I was excited to go. My friend and I went and her daughter came along. She sat quietly for most of the time and got up and quietly twiddled around toward the end. Pros: My pedi lasted a really long time. Whatever they use for the topcoat here is great! They didn't talk. At all. So, if the gossiping bothers you and makes you paranoid (not me) then this is your place. Nice uniforms. Cons: She did not remove my callouses. I had a glitter coat to layer on top for the 4th of July. She pretended to forget about it, asked me after the topcoat if I still wanted it, and acted a little put out when I said that I did. My friend wanted her toes all blinged out with rhinestones (which is cute), HOWEVER my nail lady cut my pedi short (no hot towels and short leg massage) to go do her stones. No one replaced my nail lady. I ended up putting on my own shoes (totally dumb for a nail salon) and having to walk myself over to the dryer without having it offered. My friend's white polish quickly yellowed and looked bad, but stayed on! My nail lady scolded my friends little girl for touching a chair (not being noisy or hurting anything or running around... just touching a chair). I will not go back unless I need a pedi that will stay and I will for sure not have the lady with the light penciled in eyebrows again. read more

They are NOT trained in properly doing pedicures, I was cut so DEEP that I'm still in pain 20 min later after leaving, limping and everything, I couldn't even finish the services! And still charged me! It should have been free! I barely sat down and didn't even finish my manicure. And when I began to notice how deep it really was one of the managers or other workers insinuated that I asked her to cut me! And the whole time, NOT ONE APOLOGY!!! NOT ONE, JUST DIRTY LOOKS! I went here for the first time a month and a half ago to get a refill. My nails were already cracking and lifting after a week. These are signs of poor quality in products. Also the lady applied so many coats of polish that my nails looked terrible and I didn't have time to have her repolish them. People who have either heard or experienced similar from here advised me to never go back. My original nail tech is all the way in Angleton.
