The salon was clean, organized, and had a nice, relaxing vibe. Nancy took care of my pedicure and did a great job! Very thorough and gentle. Minh handled my full set, and I loved how my nails turned out! The cat eye and chrome combo came out super cute and exactly what I was going for. Service was professional, and I didn't feel rushed. I attempted to get my nails done on Sunday, July 5. After waiting over an hour following my pedicure, I was finally informed that there wasn't anyone available to do my gel refill. My concern is that when I arrived, your staff already knew you were short-staffed. It would have been courteous to let me know upfront so I could decide whether I wanted to receive only a pedicure or go to another salon for all of my services. I've been a loyal customer since your salon was located in Pearland, so I'm certainly not a new client. I was disappointed by the lack of communication and consideration for my time. This was my first time here and I would say it was a great experience. Parking was ample near HEB. So plenty of space. When I walked in I was immediately greeted and sat down for a pedicure right away. I was only here for a pedicure so I can't speak on nail service. I felt really relaxed and comfortable. Pricing is the same like any nail salon to me. They only give discounts to military and teachers if you are one. The technician Nancy was amazing and did a great job. I had my warm neck wrap, deluxe pedicure and I was so relaxed. I also had a mimosa since it was 12 noon. Nancy did an awesome job and I will be back for another pedicure in the near future. Me and my sister were really disappointed with our experience at Milano Nail Salon in Manvel. We've been to the Heights location before and had an amazing experience, so we expected the same level of service here. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The nail technician, Nicky, did a poor job on my sisters nails. The shape was uneven, rushed, bulky, and the overall quality was nowhere near what we've received at the Heights location. Also, she cut her, trying to remove acrylic from my sisters skin. We left feeling frustrated and disappointed, especially considering the price. Service- 2/5: I made an appointment for 1pm with Angel and I guess they let her start on someone around that time so she couldn't see me until 1:50. I waited almost an hour even after making an appointment. I was then told I would get an extra discount for the long wait time but the extra discount was just 5% off the main service (not even off the total charge). The "extra discount" of 5% for waiting almost an hour after my appointment time was pretty disappointing. They are also only giving 20% off the main service and not any add ons (nail design, shape, etc). I wish they would have been more clear about the pricing and discount before I got the nails done. I was charged $85 for my nails (60 for shellac full set, 20 for marble, 15 for chrome + 25% discount off just the $60). It is definitely on the pricier side for nails. Nail tech service-5/5: Angel was actually the highlight of my whole experience there. She did a terrific job and really took her time on my nails. She started around 2pm and finished around 3:50pm. She even offered great recommendations. She was also super friendly and informative! Highly recommend Angel! Vibe-5/5: Since this is a new location, everything looked clean and very luxurious! They had gorgeous lighting and chandelier everywhere. They also offer drinks so that is a cool perk too. Selfcare Sunday and the most anticipated opening (for me at least because I need a set like yesterday...lol). And boy what a Sunday! This is great. Parking: There is plenty of parking; although I will say the spots are in high demand because of today's opening. Because this location is nestled into a shopping center the parking is endless. Location: Located in the up and coming Manvel Town Center, this nail place is popping. You can miss the large glowing Milano sign! Service: Top notch maybe because is the first day! I got a shellac manicure and a pedicure. When you walk up, you were greeted with a smile. There were literally bites and plenty of drinks flowing no expense spared. Plus you get 30% off on services today! Today, they served Boba Tea, plus the regular drinks they serve, had a large charcuterie spread, and even served eggrolls. Yum! I have been a long time customer of Milano Nail Spa. Everywhere I've moved in the city, I've found one. They placed this new one right in Manvel and it made the drive better. I walked in, said what I wanted and was seated immediately. I was then asked if I wanted a drink. The choices!!! I went in for GelX, showed Vyan my vision and she executed it flawlessly. Her customer service was excellent and she checked on me throughout the entire process making sure I loved my nails. I am over the moon about my nails. Unfortunately, my experience at this location was nothing like the great reviews I had read. I truly believe my awful visit was due to the nail tech, Nena, and her unpleasant attitude. I tried making small talk to lighten the mood, but she acted as if I was bothering her, even though I was simply trying to be friendly. I came here expecting the same great service I always receive at the Sugar Land location, but I was very wrong. I usually get my nails shaped more oval, but I didn't want to ask Nena to adjust them because she was clearly in a bad mood. Instead, I asked the lady at checkout if I could come back in the morning to have them reshaped. She turned to ask Nena, and Nena immediately went berserk. I wouldn't normally leave a bad review. However I write this in hopes the management will do better. I like this place. It's a good addition to the community. Clean, stylish, and relaxing atmosphere. Staff is usually friendly. I went in for a refill and pedicure. The Nail technician I requested when I made the appointment was on vacation so reception re-assigned my appointment to someone else. I typically get Cateye polish with French tip effect so I'm used to the process and the $15 up-charge. The technique requires the nails to be polished, magnet applied and dried 1 at a time. It takes a little time. I knew something wasn't right when the nail tech polished all fingers with cateye polish and placed them under the lamp before applying the magnet. I frowned and told her that is not how it's usually done. She persisted and finished the job with no cateye effect to be found. The shape was nice and polish flawless but not at all what I requested. I pointed this out to the manager who accepts payment the counter. He looked at my nails and tried to gaslight me by saying some colors don't give the same effects. It was my usual color. Instead of apologizing, he made a lame excuse. It was insulting. I pointed out the issue so that he will know Nina does not know how to do cateye. I wasn't requesting a refund. I wasn't that upset with the quality even though it wasn't what I'm paying an up-charge for . But to blame my selection of color as the problem was poor customer service. Terrible first experience. The nail technician was extremely rude when I asked her to cut down my nails, something she never asked about beforehand. She sighed loudly and threw her tools onto her cart, which was completely unprofessional and made me very uncomfortable. I then clearly explained that I wanted a white French tip with a clear pink base--a very common and standard request. She refused to listen and instead aggressively showed me solid pink shellac colors. Communication was so poor that I had to involve someone from the front desk to translate. Only then did she finally understand my request. I rarely leave reviews, but this behavior was unacceptable. The technician's attitude and lack of professionalism reflect poorly on this business, and she should be retrained before working with customers again. read more

I am usually a huge Milano Nail person, I've always had amazing service the past few times with really great quality, however I was really disappointed this past visit. I made an appointment for 10am, wasn't expecting to be there for 3 hours but I didn't leave until 1pm due to the lack of technicians and having to wait in between my pedicure and wanting to get a manicure. Then, I was told by my nail tech she would give me a small discount on the nail design I chose but then towards the end of the service changed her mind, which I thought was a little weird. She did a great job with my nails and the design, but overall experience was a bit disappointing. If you make an appointment on the weekend, I don't know if that will make a difference than a walk in. I believe more techs are needed if the demand is high. Also I don't appreciate that each tech kept pushing for a "higher" priced package. If I want a basic package please don't suggest others like I can't read the menu. I decided to go with the higher package for my pedicure and left a tip in the end for both techs, but I will not be back to this location. read more

The nail spa is aesthetically pleasing, but there are two gentlemen who were managing the spa during my visit--they are condescending and NOT very customer centric. They would rather debate with a customer rather than listen and accept feedback about your experience. The service was unpleasant which made the environment hostile and uncomfortable. Over the last 3 months, I've spent over $450 at this spa, so I couldn't believe how I was being treated because I wanted to take time to soak off the gel polish AND because I shared my experience with a gel product that was subpar (compared to the others I'd used in the same salon). If I show a level three art for my nail design. Do not send me a level 1 artist to complete it because now both of us are irritated when I say "no, I don't like it." Then proceeds to paint one coat of replacement color instead of removing the old color. Not mention nipping my cuticle and making it bleed. I called to book an appointment but was told to just walk-in. When I did the wait was 20 minutes which I'm fine with if I had just walked in but I had tried to book an appointment when I called so the wait could have been avoided. I came in for a soak off of acrylic nails and I have had many soak offs but never like this- a cuticle clipper was used to peel off the acrylic nail after it had soaked but it was uncomfortable and some of the nails didn't feel ready to be peeled off and needed more soaking time. I feel like it took much longer to take off because of the method used. Also the cuticle clipper was used to trim and shape my nail while the nail clippers sat in my line of sight. I got a simple manicure and none of the nail lengths are even or shaped the same, I had to come home and file them myself as they had chips. Overall, it was a very simple service and somehow took a long time and was very complicated. read more
