Yvonne provides a true one-on-one nail experience making her stand out in the nail salon crowd. She was so nice to take me in with literally no notice at all. I had a bad nail job from another place just a few days before, so she managed to salvage what I gave her to work with in order to make my nails look really good and to hold me until I can come back for a new set from her. She took a while to explain in detail what would work best for not only my fingernails but also my toenails. She focuses on making sure my nails stay healthy and to not use harsh chemicals. I really appreciated her taking time to explain things I didn't know about this topic. Overall the salon is small but relaxing. Her pedicure chair provides a nice massage. And she strives to perform her best at what she does. I will post pictures of my nails but please keep in mind the set I have wasn't from her so hopefully in a few weeks I will come back and try the powder dipped nails and can post pictures of those later. Her prices are not too bad but not cheap either. I do think it's worth it though for the personal attention you receive. It's very peaceful and small. You don't have to listen to the tv and music and other people on the phone or children. It's one of those places that is a small studio with a bunch of other small studios. So there are only a couple of clients at a time. The technicians are very kind. It's a cash or Zelle place only. It doesn't have the strong odor that many nail salons have. The first time I came I actually fell asleep! I loved their work, and I'm very picky. I tried the organic nail polish on my toes. I was happy that it didn't chip after a month. It wasn't as shiny after awhile, but I could have added a clear coat myself. Make sure you book ahead. So, you wouldn't think anyone would get treated poorly with just a simple mani-pedi, but not only did they use some kind of harsh chemicals on my cuticles after trimming which left my toes burning for at least an hour afterwards, they also vertically cracked the toenail of the big toe on the left foot 3/8 of an inch when they were cutting the nail and they tried to cover it up with polish! Good grief! I have often trimmed this toenail with professional clippers and have yet to ever crack the nail. I will never return to that salon. I would not recommend them either. read more

I don't get my nails done often. I am really rough with my hands and, in general, am not the girliest gal on the block. I found them when searching for "Dip" nails. PS DO NOT MISTAKE THIS FOR THE OTHER SNS ORGANIC NAILS BC that location IS NOWHERE NEAR this one. This is in Bellaire... and OFF of Bellaire Blvd. Parking lot available. Stairs or elevator to 2F. Their location is inside of a Salon Suite. Their particular suite is pretty tiny. When I left there was a lady in the pedi chair, the lady next to me, and the empty chair where I was Plus Chi Thi (Thy?) and Chi Yvonne. Hence, the no walk in thing. The dip powder they use has Vitamins and is healthier for your nails They said I should see some improvement by the next time I come in. It is suggested to come in three weeks before lifting/cracking happens. It is also AIR CURED. IE no cooking in a lamp. or being worried bc you may have forgotten to wear spf on your hands (uv rays). ALSO They offer a lot of services. and there is a membership! It lasts for your whole life, and you get discounts on services :D I totally bought it. I am going tomorrow lol. I have to say this is probably the best acrylic nail set I've ever had!
