Once again, Yelp did not steer me wrong. They prefer for customers to make an appointment, however they will take walk-ins. The first time I visited, I walked in and didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes (probably because it was at lunch time on a Friday). I've scheduled appointments on their website as well as on the phone. The site is pretty straight forward to use and it will send you a reminder of your appointment. I usually get pedicures, but I have done a basic manicure as well. Tina is my preferred nail tech. She's very sweet and gentle. She hasn't cut or knicked my cuticles. I personally prefer a more quiet experience when I'm getting my nails done and Tina keeps the talking to a minimum. She always offers me a beverage too which is nice. They have a decent sized waiting area with adequate seating. The waiting area has never been crowded when I've visited. They also have a full bar. Sometimes, the staff will offer snacks like nuts, cookies, or crackers. One time they even had Jello shots lol. The staff is always so friendly and professional. This is probably one of the best nail salons that I've been to in Pearland.

When I tried to use the gift cards, I was told they would not be honored, with no exceptions and no grace period. While I understand that ownership changes happen, it's incredibly frustrating that a business could purchase an existing business, and would refuse to stand behind purchases made just weeks prior. There was no communication, no transition period, and no effort to make things right for customers who supported the business in good faith. The new owners stated that the other Milano locations would honor the gift cards - that is not true. All are independently owned. The technician left my nails packed with drill residue and powder and did not allow me to wash my hands. Once I washed my hands later, I realized the nails already looked like I needed a refill, and the gel was cracking and lifting almost immediately. On top of that, the technician was cold and rude. I asked for a specific design, and what I received was not what I requested. When I calmly asked if he could fix it, he told me no. My pedicure was just as bad. The polish was crooked, and the technician cut my cuticles so aggressively that my toes were bleeding. Shortly after, both my husband and I developed infections and irritation around our nail areas. That is completely unacceptable and extremely concerning. I reached out within the first 24 hours and tried to resolve the issue respectfully. I contacted them for seven straight days with no solution. I even offered to accept half of a refund, despite the fact that I left with damaged nails and infections. They refused to take accountability and kept insisting I come back, even after I explained I do not live in the same town. When I disputed the charge with my bank, the salon told them I "received the service," and my dispute was denied. When I called again, the person I spoke with twisted the story, lied about our communication, and tried to argue semantics instead of making it right. Please be cautious. Even when you go up to their closing time, they don't rush you or make you feel unwanted. I appreciate that because I truly needed to get my nails done, but am working on limited timing. You also get an adult or regular beverage with your service. FYI, since we went past the closing time for the nail shop, all of the Nail Techs usually leave. If you are the type to give a cash tip directly to your Nail Tech, you can opt to give it to her at the time of service or leave it with the person. Ambiance: The nail shop is a typical one.
