This location renovated earlier this year and it looks a lot cleaner inside. BBQ chicken is probably one of my favorite places for korean fried chicken! This place is take out only and you can preorder online so you don't have to wait. Even after a 20min drive, the chicken is still super crispy & not soggy at all! My personal favorite is their golden original - might not be for everyone but I enjoy the slightly sweet and super crispy batter that is not drenched in sauce. The Caribbean spice flavor was also surprisingly really good too. Honey garlic is always good. I also tried their rose ddeokboki with extra cheese and it was ok. Highly recommend!

We had this at a party and thought the chicken was pretty good so we decided to order some ourselves. Read a couple of review about the long wait time so we ordered a bit over a hour before we picked it up. Lucky we did because they were so busy and even after an hour our order was just prepared. What we liked about the chicken is the crispy skin and the juicy meat. Even after a hour in the box unopened the skin was still crispy. We had the honey garlic and soy garlic. Now we had the soy garlic before and it wasn't spicy. This time it was very spicy which was unfortunate because our spicy level is like minus 1 so it wasn't as enjoyable as it should be. We ordered a side of onion ring and this spice level was over the top. I didn't know they made onion rings that spicy and even my kids couldn't eat it. The lower rating was because of the unaware spicy level of their food even tho on the menu it was stated as non-spicy. A little hit of spicy is fine but it was pretty spicy.

This was a to-go order, so not much to say about service and ambiance here. However, this store's chicken tastes just like its stores in Korean. It's my go-to Korean fried chicken chain when I'm craving KFC.

They are finally back open!! Ordered delivery through Uber eats. Honey garlic wings & golden original wings were super crispy and delicious. I recommend ordering a side of hot sauce for the wings for some heat! They also have a menu for drinks now and I tried the lychee mango lemonade. It was refreshing and not too sweet.

Great korean fried chicken spot to go! I always eat the one in ktown and i was so happy to know they opened one close to me. Service is great and the chicken is fresh and delicious and affordable! I got the honey garlic so good, honestly all the flavors are great.

There's 2 waitresses and one busser, but I felt only one of the waitress was pulling the weight, while the other (maybe she's the owner?) mostly chatted with one of the table customers. I felt bad for our waitress she was so busy with fulfilling takeouts + dine ins and the dishes require a lot of servicing table side. She couldn't catch 1 second of break :( Food wise, we got their 2 person combo of spicy pork gamja tang and spicy rice cake which came with the steamed egg. Everything was so good, egg was extra fluffy, rice cake was delicious and the meat came right off the bones. They take a good variety of side dishes. My partner wasn't a fan of the gamja tang but due to feeling it's a hassle to eat meat with bones, so those who fee sim may agree. We also asked for the fried rice after we finished the gamja tang, for 2 servings I think it was $4.75 or something. I really enjoyed it but I guess I like scorched rice, also something my partner doesn't enjoy so those we feel sim just note. Environment feels very old school, well worn. Feels cozy. It can get loud very quickly on a Saturday night as this place seems to be a hit for large parties. Since the wait staff is short handed, expect a bit of a wait for things. Don't come if you're in a rush.

It was featured in Parts…read moreUnknown Season 9, Episode 4 (Queens), where he dined here with chefs Josh Smookler and Cosme Aguilar. Geo Si Gi is highly known for their signature gamjatang (spicy pork bone soup). Ordered the Gamjatang & Grilled Mackerel Set - $52.95 (for 2) The gamjatang is perfectly spiced - bold and warming without overwhelming heat (and trust me, my spice tolerance is low!). Instead of the usual red kimchi, they load it with long strips of green napa cabbage, cut right before your eyes before serving. Some bean sprouts, watercress on top, with tender potatoes, chewy rice cakes, and massive pork bones that fall right off - so meaty and flavorful. Served with a side of sweet mustard sauce. Pure comfort on a cold day. The grilled mackerel was enormous and incredibly plump - way bigger than expected! As an oily fish, it's rich and satisfying, but we barely made it through a third. If you're a mackerel fan like me, it's a must-order. . Banchan were simple and homey: nothing flashy, just solid classics. Bonus: it comes with fluffy steamed egg (jjim) that rounds out the meal perfectly. I can eat an entire bowl of rice with just the steamed egg . This set was massive for two - we left with about 1/4 of the soup and 2/3 of the fish! Pro tip: Save some broth and ask them to make fried rice with it at the end. Game-changer. . Highly recommend for hearty, soul-warming Korean food in Flushing!

We were a group of 6 and came to Daori for some Korean BBQ. They're located on a residential street but next to several other stores and restaurant. We were surprised to see that they had TV's which was great since the World Cup final was playing. We are told the Iberico pork was the star here. We ordered several other dishes as well. The pork was indeed very good. My only comment was that the waitress seemed very stressed and frazzled. She was stressing about cooking the food and some of it was getting overcooked but also our banchan didn't get refilled because of it. Their English is also not great so there were times when we had a tough time communicating. I would say overall the food was good and we had a good time. It was also very reasonably priced. After tips, it was only $64 per person. We'll definitely come again.
