I usually like getting Medium size so I can get a couple of different flavors. And these flavors go in order (best to best): 1. Yangnyum chicken 2. Garlic soy chicken 3. Spicy Yangnyum chicken 4. Galbi flavor chicken 5. And the other ones which I haven't tried yet. I always go for the boneless, but if you like the bone in, then just get them which are 100% still good. I've ordered takeout from both locations several times and I must say consistency is their strong suit. I've yet to have a bad meal from here. Seriously. The Korean fried chicken not only smells so good but tastes so good the minute you open the box as well as the next day if you heat it up again. The variety of Korean fried chicken flavors makes BB.Q Chicken my go to fav spot. Every chicken flavor we've tried so far did not disappoint- Gangnam chicken wings- solid, Secret spicy chicken- solid, soy garlic chicken- solid. Portions are generous and the fry on the chicken is legit. They also fry their chicken in olive oil which I appreciate it. I'm a fan of BBQ Olive Chicken because they also have a lot of side items and other Korean street food dishes on their menu- ddukbokki, rose ddukbokki, kimchi fried rice topped with an egg (get it with spam), so-tteuk (mini skewer of Korean rice cake and sausage), etc. The side order of corn salad is good too. Y'all, get yourself that rose ddukbokki. Never had it before until I tried it from this place and it was so good. When I first read the description of it I was a bit hesitant because BBQ Olive Chicken has THE BEST ddukbokki. Seriously. However, the rose ddukbokki is a winner too. Don't know how it's possible for one spot to be able to double down on two solid and tasty ddukbokki dishes. The regular ddukbokki is spicy but something about it makes you go back for more. Really solid sauce on both. One of my friend says the rose ddukbokki sauce is good with some pasta noodles that he added at home with the remaining sauce . Make sure you also get some cubed korean pickled radish. It pairs well with the fried chicken/chicken wings. Check them out if you want some good quality korean fried chicken and Korean street food that does not skimp out on quantity, flavor, and packaging. I've been here 3 times now, and each time was so good!! Their breading for their chicken is just so crispy and crunchy, and the sauce does not make it soggy. So far I've tried the soy garlic and the bb wings. The soy garlic is my absolute favorite. It's salty, sweet and garlicy. So good! Think of like a deeper, saltier teriyaki sauce...kind of. Now the bb wings...I don't think I paid enough attention to the description or picture on the menu, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a sauceless wing, and has spicy seasonings in the inside of the chicken. This tastes almost identical to Popeyes' spicy fried chicken!!! I'm not even kidding. It was so reminiscent of it. You could even see the little orange specks of spices under the skin like you would with Popeyes. Props to them! I highly recommend the bb wings if you like spicy, sauceless, fried chicken. I've tried their sweet potato fries, onion rings and corn salad. All were great. They give you tonssss of fries with your lunch combo. If you dine-in, your meal comes with pickled radishes. Started to eat, but found a string attached to the chicken. Called to complain. At first, they offered refund. They called back, changed their word. "We can't give you refund, but we will give you credit" They reacted to the complaint as if I was broke and just wanted free food. Outstanding! The best way for me to describe this restaurant is consistent. I've been here a few times and the food is always perfect. It always looks appetizing and always taste great. The service is always inviting and professional. The ambiance is relaxing and most importantly, it's always a clean environment. The portion sizes are always consistent which for me justifies the cost. When you order they tell you it will be 25 mins for the chicken and it's exactly 25 mins and worth the wait! Highly recommend! LEFT FULLY UNAPPITIZED. My family and I are not usually ones to have issues when we are out and we have been to this place more than once. Background information, this particular facility does not sell kimbap which we were aware of. So we had planned to bring a pack of kimbap into the restaurant so we are able to enjoy it as well as the 3 huge orders of chicken wings and toebokki that we had order from them. After 20 minutes of ordering our toebokki , it had came out but not the chicken wings so we started eating that plus the kimbap we brought. Our waiter for that table had came over and saw the kimbap and told us about the policy of no outside food and as a family that owns a business ourselves we understood and put it away. But I guess not fully away as they wanted it. After we put it at the end of the table the manager came by and told us the exact same thing that our waiter told us so we said okay and put it down on our booth. The manager still felt the need to stand there and watched us uncomfortably for a few seconds and had the audacity to suggest us for him to take it. As costumers, how are we able to enjoy our time together there if the manager puts pressure on us the way he did. We had no problem with their policy but more of the way they were treating us. Bombarding us countlessly after we listened the first time doesnt keep your paying costumers appetized. Then again we are not a family that are easily irritated but this left us upset. Not to add, the 3 orders of chicken wings still did not come out yet and by this time we all did not want to stay in this pressuring feeling of a place so we asked to cancel the orders that had not come out yet. THAT DID NOT COME OUT YET. The manager told us he wasnt able to because it was already in the fire. That doesn't explain the 30 minute wait after having to pay for the food that did not come out. Love the daikon and other sides. We tried 6 different flavors with our group and they were all good. The staff was attentive and made good suggestions. Extra crispy Korean fried chicken! Their flavors are unique and not your typical flavors compared to other KFC in Atlanta. We ordered the Cheesling and Gang-Jeong flavors, and I preferred the Cheesling. The Gang-Jeong was not good at all...very odd to pair cinnamon with a "spicy" sauce. The flavors do not go well together. And no, the Gang-Jeong was not spicy at all. I'm pretty bummed that they don't have boneless white meat, they only have boneless dark meat. Okay, so I've eaten from here a few times before and every time it's been absolutely delicious. And I feel that way about a lot of places. But I've never felt compelled to write a review about any of those places except for now. This is because of one reason and one reason alone. Hello, First off I just wanted to say that the first time I ordered here, was perfect. Today when I ordered the person who took the order did not speak very good English. I told her that I wanted the rice noodle mixed with sauce. Didn't know what it was called but she said she knows what I'm asking for. They made something with rice cake and mini hot dogs. Which isn't what I asked for. The manager said that I can place the order for the bokki at an employee discount. Why should pay for something that I didn't order? Which i had no choice but to pay for just to get the right food. It was very forceful to pay by the way.It makes no sense for a new establishment to be doing this to their customers. Super yummy the honey garlic wings are super delicious! We have also tried the BB Wings (similar to breaded fried chicken with a kick). Their chicken is perfectly breaded and crispy. But my FAVORITE is the Rose Ddeok-Bokki (rice cake in a spicy, creamy, and sweet sauce). I grew up eating traditional ddeok-bokki, so this sweeter twist was surprisingly delicious and something I now crave regularly. I also love their kimchi fried rice.
