This place has amazing food. I have to start by saying that. The honey garlic chicken is one of my favorites. That being said the service is the worst. Today we had a big group and we all wanted our favorite honey garlic. We had been fasting meat for three weeks and were going to break our fast with this chicken. We put in an order and we all order honey garlic and a secret sauce chicken. When we receive our order they bring a soy garlic (no one ordered soy garlic). The gentleman stated that someone must've ordered it so we have to keep it and pay for it. I let him know that no one ordered it that I wanted my honey garlic chicken and I didn't want to pay $27 for something I did not order and that that was not fair. He stated that unfortunately he put it in the system that way and he cannot take it off so we have to keep it. I have never heard of a thing like that. Working in the customer service field myself, if I make a mistake I will own up to it and do what I can to rectify the matter. The none challant lack of accountability and expecting me to pay for his mistake is unacceptable and absolutely wild. Koreans: About 2-3 years ago I decided to try other cultures of food and the Korean culture has been my main priority and favorite as of yet. They know how to take an American dish, if they had to, and take it on to a different level and that's what I LOVE!! This location was fantastic. We ordered a large set of the honey garlic and soy garlic wings and they did not disappoint. The two flavors are similar and both a bit sweet, but the magic is in the perfect crunch. Even though we ate these as takeout and had to drive about 20 min back these had a perfect crunch and the meat was super moist. There have been several Korean fried chicken places that have popped up in the area. I have tried a few in the Duluth area and have been impressed. I cannot say that this place impresses, simply because I did not get to try it. I met a couple of folks for Saturday late lunch. We wanted to relax over a leisurely lunch. Instead we were seated at a table next to the grungy hallway to the bathrooms. We asked to be seated at an empty booth and we were told NO, those are reserved for larger parties(!). We look around and the other booths were occupied by a party of one and several parties of two. Only one booth had a party of four. All of the tables were empty but we were placed at the worst one. I love bb.q chicken in general specially when it first opened in NYC. Moved to NC and was excited to see that they have a store in Suwanee. Ordered from Uber Eats to pick up after landing in Atlanta. My 82 year old Mom was getting really hungry and I thought we can just eat the chicken in the restaurant. When I got to the restaurant and informed them of our plan to eat inside. We were told that we CANNOT do that because I ordered take out and it is a different policy between in dining and takeout even its their own product we were going to eat. I offered to order other menu items and was told that we CANNOT eat anything in the takeout bag. This was really absurd!!!! I asked the employee if they are denying my hungry 82 year old mother and my 70 year old disabled friend the service. He said to not guilt trip him! Basically rude employees! UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I am not familiar with the owner's policy BUT I feel that it was unfair to be treated a paying customer that way by the employees. Best chicken in town!!! Taste is great and quality is great. Price is on the more expensive end compared to other fried chicken places in the area, but that's why you get better food! My usual order is boneless half&half (golden original and sweet&spicy chicken) with their spicy rice cakes, ddeokbokgi (original or rose cream sauce). It's kinda sad to say that a chicken place has the best ddeokbokgi, but it's the truth. It's very spicy (I have a low spicy tolerance though) but delicious. You can also add in cheese! Their chicken skin is crunchy and flavorful while the meat itself is tender and juicy (also flavorful). The sweet&spicy chicken is mostly sweet with just a kick of spice. We did end up waiting longer than the estimated time because one of our wings was forgotten. So it took a good 40 mins :/ With a toddler, let me tell you not fun to wait so long. So I would recommend calling ahead. Which was my oversight, but we walked over to Ding tea for a treat. So ddeok so ddeok: for two sticks it is pricey...it's rice cake and sausage. The sausage tasted good but probably wouldn't pay $8 for it. Sweet potato fries: tasted good! Tasted even better after air frying it at home! Wings of fire: was a disappointment because it was not spicy at all. I am convinced they gave us the wrong wings...because it wasn't spicy at all. Soy garlic wings: tasted pretty good, a little heavy of the soy sauce part. Golden original chicken: love the crisp to it! This was my favorite out of this order. It had a slight hint of spicy seasoning to the breading. Overall the chicken is tender and cooked all the way. A bit on the pricier side for fried chicken but I would be curious to try the other flavors and retry the wings of fire. Like I said...pretty sure we got the wrong order. This is the 2nd bb.q chicken location I've tried and it definitely didn't disappoint. We ordered the tteokkbokgi, wings of fire, the honey garlic wings, and the cheesling chicken. The tteokkbokgi is probably the best one I've found in the area and much better than the other location I went to. It's flavorful and actually spicy. As for the wings, the honey garlic is always a go to and never disappoints, but we didn't particularly care for the wings of fire. The cheesling chicken was surprisingly delicious. I didn't really know what to expect at first, but the more you eat it the better it tastes. Oh and did I mention, draft beers are half off Monday through Friday ALL DAY! When I asked about trying one of the other flavors the response was that "corporate" wouldnt allow that.... wth? My response was " well they arent here" and was still denied. Can't really say that the food was bad but the service was.. 1. Came in with a party of two and the host took care of the customers that came before us till they said we arrived first. 2. They brought out the bowls of rice we ordered and it arrived a little too early while we were waiting for the chicken. And asked if we can put the rice back or anything till the chicken comes and he said that we had to toss it away or microwaved it... 3. Than we waited about 35 minutes and still haven't got our chicken but the people that came before us got their chicken... 4.
