Participated in the Explore Gwinnett Seoul of the South food tour and this was our third stop so by now I was being careful to try everything in moderation. It was great to explore the variety of unique dishes and even Korean chicken wings. Everything was full of flavor. Yogi Asian Fusion is a spot you will want to add to your Korean spots to visit,

First time for Korean food for this guy. Party of seven the food was excellent great flavors and quick speedy service. Everything came out hot and perfect temperature. It seems to be a husband and wife team that owns this place. Lots of flavors going on everyone's. Pleased with our meal selections. Seasoned well and high fun seasoning. The dining room decor is simple but tasteful And very clean - not much wall decor. A lot of pictures of food on board so you know what you're getting if first time.

Cheerfully greeted as we entered Yogi. Looks like it's owned by a husband and wife. Main chef has previously worked at many well-known Korean spots such as Dan Moo Ji, Thank U Chicken, Danji, and BBmyun. Yogi is a fast casual restaurant. You can order from a kiosk or at the register. You pick up your food and return the trays afterwards. Noise level is average depending on when you dine. Food * Bulgogi Toast ($10.99) * Spicy Squid Roll ($9.99) * Tonkotsu Roll ($9.99) Everything I've ordered always comes with a miso soup. Super tasty! We love love love the spicy squid rolls. The tonkotsu roll is ok. The bulgogi toast is very tasty but meat distribution could be better. All the meat was in the middle of the toast so in the beginning, you get all bread, no meat. Then you get to the middle and meat is spilling out! Overall I'm a huge fan of their kimbap- specifically the spicy squid rolls ($9.99). I can't wait to come back next time I'm in town!

Have you tried Korean street toast ⁉ 길거리토스트 This is best Korean style street toast that I've had in the US! The first time I tried this toast was in Queens in 2008, then in Korea multiple times. So, this is finally the PERFECT toast. Definitely a must try! Here's why: 1 Fluffy thick cut bread, perfectly toasted. 2 Well seasoned, hearty omelet. 3 House made delicious savory cream sauce. 4 Generous meaty Korean BBQ meat of your choice : bulgogi , seafood , etc 5 Melty cheese layer 6 Strawberry jam The touch screen ordering menu is super helpful. The menu sets here are perfectly balanced, like a bento / dosirak 도시락 without the box. Kimchi fried rice and omurice. Huge, generous portions. Hidden gem alert. Fast casual ambiance.

This little joint serves scrumptious food that hits all the right flavor notes. We ordered the udon noodle soup, donkatsu omelette rice and teokbokki. I seriously could not find fault with any of the dishes. The lovely owner also stopped by our table to check in on us. It is fun to order at the kiosk and I like how they have to go containers readily available at the counter.

Everything was really good! Super fast service and the workers were really nice! Everything was seasoned well and was freshly prepared. Inside is small but very nice and plenty of seating. Will definitely be coming back.

This is probably one of my comfort places now. Whenever I don't know what I wanna eat or what I'm craving, I end up here. I've basically tried everything on the menu and none of it is a miss. The owner is always so nice and food comes out quick.

Fantastic quick spot! I ordered online and when I came in to pick up my food, the service was great! She was so kind!!! The food was delicious and I absolutely loved the side dishes and the fried shrimp Kimbap! I will definitely be back, they have a large menu with lots of variety! Special shout out to the potato salad (it was some of the best I've had)

Good for the price. My favorite was the sandwich. It was super flavorful and yummy. The old menu the sandwich comes with corn soup but now it doesn't. Comes with a yogurt drink though! The rest was decent. We didn't receive some things we ordered and had to go up to the counter to remind. Definitely understand because they were so busy today.

We've ordered takeaway a few times and ate in house. Everything was delicious. Rice bowl and meals come with different little sides to offer variety. We love everything JC we've tried so far and I love the dressing on the salad. The donkatsu is a nice thick piece of pork, rather than being a pancake. The tteokbokki comes with big pieces of rice cakes, cabbage, fish cakes, and some noodles at the bottom. Grilled pork belly bowl had a great charcoal flavor. When we ate the rice bowls at the restaurant, it also came with a piece of rice cake, yum. Overall, delicious. The restaurant is basically self serve. You order at kiosk, get your water and utensils, pick up your meal and put away your tray when you're finished. The take out containers are also in the front of the store if you need them. The boss lady is super friendly too.

Chicken Bulgogi Sandwich, it has an omelette on it, I've never had a sandwich like this but it was actually really good

I stopped here on accident, but I'll be back on purpose. I love that they have chicken bulogi as an option. I had the chicken bulgogi sandwich and it was awesome, I would like to have more of them. I got a side of rice because I was heading to a wedding and needed the carbs, but it was a refreshing simple rice; I thought I tasted hints of butter, which I never have with this kind of rice. The ppl were friendly, acknowledged me when I walked in and gracious when I asked to use the restroom, which was clean. Overall this little spot has my attention and when I'm up that way again I'll be stopping by.

You are greeted with a nice warm basket of muffins. They are a little cheesy and remind me of a mix of corn bread and regular muffins. We ordered the brisket and spare ribs. Brisket has an option of fatty marbled or lean - we got fatty but it was more a layer of fat than a nice marbling. The meat was a bit tough but not inedible. I do wish it was more marbled and flavorful. It definitely needed the bbq sauce. The spare ribs were quite good. They were big and meaty with different sections of fatty and chewier lean on each rib. The marinade they use for cooking is notably on the sweeter side. The ribs did not need extra bbq sauce in my opinion. The sides were just okay to me: Mac n cheese - nice and creamy but the real tasty cheese flavor was only in the melty cheese globs. Collard greens - good flavor but definitely on the salty side. Lots of meat in this side. Baked beans - your average sweet baked beans, tasty! Side salad - upgrade for $2 - portion was reasonable for price. I was disappointed by the dressing i selected, the vinaigrette. It was mostly oil and little vinegar leading to a very light and unnoticeable flavor. I added more to get more flavor and ultimately ended up with oily leaves... Bonus points for the nugget ice! My favorite :)

Apparently, there are locations all the way to Michigan and Wisconsin even. Ordered curbside pickup online just to see if they really would honor it, fully expecting to go in, since so much of that has stopped since the height of COVID. When we got there and checked in via text, we were surprised that they actually were going to come outside to deliver it (but we met them at the door in any case). Good to know for next time. Overall, it was a pretty satisfying meal. We tried as many sides as we could get with our meal. All of them were pretty great. I'm partial to my own homemade mac and cheese and greens, but they weren't bad. As far as the meats go, I think I liked the brisket, turkey breast, and sausage best. The ribs could have been more tender but were slightly better than the ones I got from Cozy Coop this year. I still haven't found a rib place that really sticks with me in my immediate area, but there are many more to try of course! I just like that turkey breast was even an option for the sampler. It was seasoned well and not dry also. I joined the rewards program, so I received a discount that I used up front. I would definitely like to try some of their sandwiches with housemade pastrami, nachos, and some more of the meats and sides. The dining area looked clean and well-kept, and the hostess/cashier was genuinely friendly--she took the time to walk us through the menu, drinks, sauces, and even the different pickles, which I appreciated. We ordered the brisket, ribs, mac & cheese, green beans, two sauces (both free), house and spicy pickles (also free), and a Banana Cream Soda. 2 Slices of Brisket - $9 (3.5/5): The brisket was solid overall--tender with a nice, juicy interior and a lightly smoky aroma that came through in each bite. It wasn't dry at all, which is always a win, though it could've had a bit more depth in flavor on its own. That said, it really came alive when paired with the spicy sauce, which added a bold, tangy kick that elevated the meat nicely. 2 Pork Spare Ribs - $7 (4/5): These were definitely a highlight. The ribs were beautifully seasoned with a savory, slightly sweet rub that formed a flavorful crust on the outside. The meat was incredibly tender--so much so that it fell clean off the bone with just a fork, no effort needed. Juicy, rich, and super satisfying, especially with the spicy sauce adding an extra layer of heat and tang. Mac & Cheese - $4.50 (4/5): Very impressive side. The spiral noodles were cooked perfectly--tender but still holding their shape, not mushy at all. What stood out most was the texture: there was a subtle crunch on top, possibly from a light breadcrumb or rice-based topping, which added a nice contrast. The cheese sauce was creamy, rich, and coated every curve of the spirals, so each bite had these little pockets of cheesy goodness that almost "popped" with flavor. The sprinkle of green onions on top added a fresh, slightly sharp brightness that cut through the richness and made the dish feel surprisingly refreshing. Green Beans - $4.50 (3.5/5): These had a great bite to them--crisp-tender with a fresh, vibrant texture. The seasoning was flavorful with a savory base, but what surprised me most was the subtle heat that built up as you ate more. It wasn't overpowering, just a nice, unexpected kick that made them more interesting than your typical side. House Pickles (free) - 2/5: These were very crunchy and had a sharp, vinegary tang that leaned heavily on the sour side. While they were fresh and crisp, the flavor felt a bit one-dimensional and overly acidic for my taste. Spicy Pickles (free) - 4/5: Much better balance here. Still nice and crunchy with that same sour backbone, but the added heat gave them a bold, zesty edge that made them way more enjoyable. The spice lingered just enough to keep you reaching for another. Banana Cream Soda - $2 (2.5/5): This was light, fizzy, and refreshing with a smooth, slightly creamy mouthfeel. The banana flavor was present but very subtle--more of a faint, artificial sweetness than a rich, ripe banana taste. It leaned more toward a mellow vanilla-cream soda vibe with just a hint of banana in the background. Not bad, just a bit underwhelming if you're expecting a bold, dessert-like banana flavor. Overall, a solid BBQ spot with friendly service and some standout items--especially the ribs and mac & cheese. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the mood for a laid-back, no-frills lunch.
