It's a convenient for people that live in the suburbs who do not want to drive all the way to Chinatown or Cheltenham to get their Korean fried chicken fix. While the chicken here aren't as big or as crunchy as the franchise in Chinatown, it's still a great spot to hangout, listen to K-pop while enjoying some fried chicken and bubble tea. Although we live about 25 mins away, the chicken "survived" the drive. We thought we were going to get soggy chicken but they were perfectly crispy and DELICIOUS!! My husband, a picky eater, even liked it. The fried chicken was not greasy and didn't have an oily taste like Poppye's or KFC. The pieces were smaller than those places so plan accordingly. I ordered the half chicken with the secret spicy sauce and a side of radish. After this experience, I am thoroughly hooked on this chicken and dream of returning the moment I'm in the area again! As soon as I returned to my car, with my order in hand, I could smell the heavy aroma of garlic and ginger, fresh garlic and ginger, which was a sign that the chicken was going to be incredibly flavorful. And despite the pieces being tossed in a moderately thick sweet and spicy sauce, they still had plenty of crunch; even the left over pieces were still a bit crispy, after sitting a couple hours later. I wanted to give 3.5 stars but yelp did not give an option for half stars. Taste: 4 star! Especially their "hot spicy" flavor in the half or whole chicken section of their menu. Good level of spice! The chicken was very juicy (even the breast meat) and the batter was not too thick and was a good amount. Portion: 3 star. From the "Fried Whole Chicken" section of their menu we got half Golden Olive Chicken and half Hot Spicy Chicken. As you can see in the picture the portion is very inconsistent. Both being order of half a chicken it should not be drastically different. We were told that we should be getting at least 10 piece of each flavor but got only 5 pieces of the Golden Olive. The cashier may have confused it with the wings. Also, there were boneless and small pieces of fried batter (with no meat) for the Hot Spicy flavor mixed in with the bone-in pieces. The people at the cash register were unsure of things when asked about the menu/flavors. I know that the business is very new, but I feel as though it would be beneficial and customers will have a better experience if the people who worked there were more knowledgeable of the menu. YES LORD! I heard a lot of amazing comments about this chicken and I was looking forward to tasting it. One of my best friends had a party, and she served hot and fresh chicken from this location. She had all of the flavors, as well as the regular salt and pepper (which quickly became one of my favorites). Everything looked and smelled so good! They are cooked extremely crispy with no greasy feel. Seasoned to the bone! This was a plus since nobody wants fried chicken where all of the flavors are in the crust and the chicken is still bland. Even though Popeyes is my absolute favorite fast food, BB.q. has truly stepped up the fried chicken game. 2 cons... one is from me and another is from another friend who has physically been to this location. 1) They are not cheap at all. You will need some $$ to get this wonderful chicken, and it's definitely worth it. It just can't be a regular visit! (At least that's what my wallet says! LOL) 2) The parking is horrible. Period. We very much enjoyed the boneless original olive, honey garlic and secret spicy wings. All the sauces are made fresh daily. Portions are generous and daikon radish is served with the chicken wings. This chain is expanding all over the place and I'm glad they have one nearby. This location has a lot of tables, so dine in comfortably. They offer bubble tea here (they call it TiKen tea) and I need to try that next time. When I went, they had a great deal (buy one large order of wings, get another 50% off). On weekends, bubble tea is 2 for $5. The wings smell and taste delightful. I got 10 soy garlic, 10 honey garlic, 10 B.B., and 10 wings of fire. If you cannot handle spicy, anything 3 chili peppers or more will be too much. It took about 25 minutes for my order (they let me know beforehand). I took it back to my friends and we all loved it. Everyone ate the wings instead of pizza (sorry Domino's). Give this place a try! The owners are very nice. They told me not to be afraid to ask.
