Fantastic and better than expected facial with Nuvia! So far I've only had one visit and it was for a custom facial. I left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and refreshed which sounds cliche but it was a great experience. Where do I start? I've never had a facial, nor have I ever really had a spa/self care day. I stepped out of my comfort zone and booked an appointment with Brenna. I had no way of knowing how much I needed this. Brenna greeted me with such kindness and warmth I felt right at home. She explained everything she was doing, patiently and knowledgeably answered any question I came up with, and just made it a wonderful experience. I've never felt so comfortable & so cared for at a studio than I have at BB Soft Skin. Alicia is so kind, so gentle, so attentive, & so educated on all things skin. I've been a handful of times and parking was fairly easy, it's the last shop before it become a neighborhood so you should be able to find a spot with ease. I love walking in & instantly feeling calmer, it smells good, the music is nice & takes your mind somewhere else, & the energy is just nice, it's everything I want when I'm about to be pampered. You'll always be greeted with a smile & while you're waiting (if at all) Alicia never fails to offer you a variety of high quality teas & invites you to sit on the comfy couch. There's also shelving with products for you to purchase (Alicia's OWN Yin Serum is something serious, check it out!) so there are things to do to pass the time. Alicia does an amazing job of making sure that you're comfortable, she invites you into the private area to change into a towel to help expose the neck & chest area. This was such a relaxing experience. She asked me about what I thought my problem areas were, she was attentive to my needs & worries, gave me practical (!!!) suggestions, and overall just helped me out so much. I also really, really love that along with some others, she uses all of her own products and they are amazing, like I said, that Yin Serum!!! trust me!! There were so many amazing jellies and creams and smells that it's hard to even get through them all but I genuinely felt like a new person once she was finished with me. Let me tell you, I am so serious, she actually adjusted the side/shape of my face because she was able to clean out things that have been in my skin for I don't know how long. She honestly does it all, she extracts, she exfoliates, she steams, she. does. it. all. & she's so sweet!
