I don't understand why bbs is always so busy. Their coffee isn't great and the staff isn't always friendly. This place is way too over hyped, but seems to get business because it's trendy. It used to be great coffee but they switched owners and espresso beans. read more

My second favorite coffee shop in town, only because they are aaaaaaaaall the over off Old Seward and Huffman. Breanna, the owner, makes a mean mocha and the smoothest white chocolate caramel frapuccino I've ever had. They have many yummy flavored to choose from that most coffee stands don't, like coconut and toasted marshmallow. She only hires the prettiest baristas and makes sure they know that they are doing. They do a pizza and drink special around high school lunch time so the lines get pretty long but it's worth the wait. read more

I love BB's :) I will drive out of my way and wait in line for their coffee which is out of my character, for sure. They are consistent in making GOOD coffee, a rarity in Alaskan coffee hut culture. The first time I came here, it took forever to get coffee. It was mediocre coffee at best. I gave them a second chance, and went there again at 6 PM, they're open sign was on, so I waited in line for 10 minutes. The entire time the open sign remained on mind you. When I pull up to the window at the coffee shop snobby girl tells me that she's closed. I'm like seriously?! you're gonna let me wait in line for 10 minutes when your open sign is on and then when I finally get to the window you're going to turn the sign off and say your closed, when I've been waiting this entire time. All she could say was sorry. Never again will I go here. Horrible customer service! Not to mention their website says they're open till 8 PM every night Monday through Friday. read more

If your looking for amazing product, fantastic customer service and an excellent way to start your day, an afternoon pick me up or end your day look no further BB's provides it all!!! I moved to the South side of Anchorage six months ago and in the last month discovered BB's all I can say is I wish I had discovered it when I first arrived. My first long, dark winter here would have been improved immensely if I could have had my daily cup of BB's most delicious & yummy lavender almond milk latte!!! There is not one employee that isn't genuinely friendly, happy & kind! Their product is hands down the best on the South side and all of Anchorage as far as I'm concerned! It is heads and tails above Starbucks in every way and forget the green stoppers...BB's takes the cakes on stoppers they have the cutest stickers and change it up everyday! It adds just that little extra personal touch that takes it up a notch & is exactly why as long as I am a resident of Anchorage BB's has my loyalty!!! read more
