Miles was a great host!!!! Very knowledgeable with the menu and the specials for that particular day. We had some minor issues with food allergies and miles accommodated us without any reservations that we had. The restaurant itself has a very cool personal vibe that made easy to come in and relax. The hurricanes are strong and taste quite amazing . Customer service is beyond impressive when you consider how personable and manageable the staff is. If you get a chance please please please ask for Danielle or miles to serve you. Danielle came by our table to check on us with a warmth and welcoming personality that she has contributed to our great customer experience. The hostess stormy hooked me up with these amazing mints that you can get at the front before you leave. The crawfish had a different seasoning that I was accustom to prior to coming there but it was as good as advertised. I had grits to go along with the meal that would knock you off your feet. Service is horrible. Starting with the hostess staff, completely incompetent. They could not give an estimate of how long the wait it, then when we check 20 minutes later there is one 6 top ahead. Next time, 20 minutes later there is an 8 top ahead of us but no other group is there. We are finally seated in the cold at a table that had always been open after complaining to a manager. 15 minutes later, 2 people get their food. 40 minutes later everyone else gets their food. I love going there specially in the crawfish season. They promote their crawfish as fresh from the sea. But, honestly you can tell if a crawfish is fresh or not from the hardness of its shell. The harder the shell, the more it has spent time frozen or in a fridge. Other than that all the fish main courses are great. A friend got a blackened fish with crawfish toping which was really good...The calamari appetizer is great...They also have chicken and beef plates for those who are not big fans of seafood. Never had a bad experience at any BBs until now! Food came out cold and after telling the waitress all she said was "ok". She didn't offer to replace the meal or even apologize. Waitress forgot about an item ordered and she had to re enter it. Ordered sweet tea and it came unsweetened. Asked for another one and was again unsweet. At the end we asked for the check and she gave us the wrong check. I could understand if it was busy but it definitely wasn't. Worst part was the cold food! read more

We were passing through town decided to stop for come good Cajun food. We had a 45 minute wait which is understandable but after our wait when we were seated, our server took quite the time to greet us as he was socializing behind the bar. After he greeted us and got our order placed he didn't come back until we were ready to leave. A different server brought us our food and we had to go find him to get our bill when we were ready to leave. The food wasn't outstanding it was decent, shrimp was over boiled red beans and rice was under standard but the gumbo was excellent! Okay I am from New Orleans and I do admit that we are biased towards a lotta Cajun style type food, but I'm being honest when I tell you this is not it. First of all my fries were dry,and my shrimp were burnt. My friend had a plate where she had the red beans and rice ,grilled shrimp and & crawfish etouffee, with a side of French bread. The red beans and rice were nasty , etouffee was average ,the smoked sausage was hard and dry, and the French bread did not have a soft good taste. I was not too impressed. Now I'm not going to say it's the worst food that I ever had, but it definitely did not live up to the hype. Yelpers wrote great reviews about this place, and none of the great reviews measured up. I must admit that the server was pretty nice and she went out of her way to service us. Needless to say I will not be returning, not because it's awful ,but because it's just not worth the 30 minute drive for me to get average at best food. They have defiantly went down hill from when they first opened. The food was ok, but now your lucky if you even get full or even enough. The fries and friend pickle would be my food to go to, but i think ill just go to the other location if im in dying need of either. Working in the food and beverage industry, I must say Alan (who was our server) was on point with his customer service. We were very happy with the customer service, food and atmosphere. The manager even came by for a quick "Everything came out good?" I had the boudin balls, which were amazing while my date had the shrimp and grits. I loved the fact that when a guest behind us dropped her entire bowls of crawfish caucuses our server went directly over with a genuine awesome comment that made me laugh. I was born and raised in Louisiana and lived there for 25 years so my review is based on what I call good cajun/Louisiana food. BB's does somethings very well and misses the mark big time on some others. For instance their Debris Po Boy is great! The bread, the meat, the dressing, all taste like home and would recommend it to anyone. The burgers are really good as well. I've had a few of their other dishes and they are good....not amazing. Typical Texas cajun food. The crawfish are terrible...probably the worst crawfish I've ever had. I dont understand why they dont season the boil and then poor seasoning all over the crawfish. Thats not how its done. The few times I've been the service hasn't been great but not bad enough to complain. Will I come back? Yes, until some better cajun food comes around. read more

The food is fantastic. We ordered the crawfish and it is by far the best in Houston. I would have rates a 5, but there server we had was extremely slow. I will say this I ordered a drink at the recommendation of the server and I didn't like it, the manager took care of it right away and replaced it with something else right away. Pretty good. I had the managers special with half a catfish po'boy and shrimp gumbo. The po'boy was freaking awesome. The gumbo was alright, tasted exactly like Jason's Deli, so I'm not sure if it is a mix or what. Also had the chips and queso and fries, all of which were great. The server was great. She answered our questions and was extremely polite and attentive. However the food was horrible. Our fried shrimp and oysters tasted exactly the same, there was no distinguishing between the two. It was a cross between fish and old frying oil. I can not say enough good things about this restaurant!!!! We were greeted by the sweetest hostess Ashley who quickly made us feel at home. Our server AJ was absolutely amazing! She greeted us very quickly & answered all our questions as it was of first time there. Her recommendations were perfect. My husband and I visited this restaurant, in Katy, in July. It was just okay, as far as taste goes. I found the menu to be very limited in selections. I managed to pop in opening day for the latest addition to the BB's family, and it looks great! The owner came by and greeted our table when we sat down. We had the Boudin balls and I tried the Crawfish Etoufee, both of which were delicious. Let me start of by saying I am a long term dedicated BB's fan, but the last few times have been a bit rough. It started off with undercooked Pollo Bullets, then migrated to cold boudin balls.
