Veggie pizza medium: add chicken, jalapeño with garlic and Parmesan crust. $36.04 Pizza takes about 10 minutes to make. No beets or yellow peppers in the Greek salad. A ton of feta, had to take some out, there was too much for my liking. The Greek salad is ok. The Jalapeños are fresh, mushrooms too, on the pizza. The chicken is pre-cooked, it has a rubbery texture. Not good. The crust is chewy and the pizza crust is nice and airy and light, not dense and heavy. It's good. read more

For a pizza joint that I tried on our last time in the area it was good. The seating wasn't something you wrote home about but it got the job done. We came in to cool off and get some lunch during the hot Fourth of July holiday! We got the extreme pepperoni pizza! It was great! Lots of pepperoni covering the entire pizza! It was so good! I also got a side of their homemade ranch which was delicious! The kids got a half bacon, half pepperoni! The bacon was crispy and great! The cheese bread was tasty as well! We JUST missed the lunch buffet by less than an hour! The little pizza cartoon scenes painted around the restaurant are so cute! My kids had a blast looking at them all! We find it challenging to find a really great meal in Mackinaw. Very touristy feel and just average, usually pretty casual and fast meals. BC Pizza is no exception to this rule. We had a 12" pepperoni and mushroom pizza with 2-items for $22. Crust was on the thinner side which was good. Nice crisp on the edges and soft on the middle. Flavorful sauce. Average amount of meat and very light on the mushrooms. Overall good but nothing great. We had $5 individual side salads. Not worth the money. Very small with iceberg lettuce, a small amount of pizza ingredients (black olives, banana peppers and cucumber). Ranch dressing was not homemade. The environment was lively and the staff were friendly. Good family environment. They serve alcohol and had a largish bar though we don't drink. It's order at the counter and bus your own dishes. For a chain pizza restaurant, BC Pizza offers a pretty solid product. They have various sizes, everything from a ten-inch personal pizza to the "Sarge," which is a twenty-inch pizza and have a slew of toppings as well as a lot of "specialty pizzas," which offer the usual suspects to some unique concoctions. The service was friendly and while the restaurant was a bit spartan in its ambiance, it was clean and honestly, a pizzeria should never be a "swanky joint" (I had to use a bit of old movie jargon there). All in all, this was a fine choice to grab a meal and a place that I would definitely recommend. For a chain pizza restaurant, this place will surprise you and when considering and comparing it to other chain pizza restaurants, I will give it five stars. If you find yourself in the area and craving pizza, you could definitely do worse than head to BC Pizza. read more

For as many times I have been to/ through Mackinaw City this is the 1st time I've been here. The place looks small from the outside but it goes back farther than expected, giving ample space for dining in at tables to one side and the other side has then "1/2 bench seat 1/2 chairs" option for max capacity of 50 people. Large group of 16-18 in here now. Many menu options which was on the wall and I didn't get. Prices are $$ and portions are good. We tried the Margherita pizza which was fantastic: fresh dough with a nice chew to it, delicious sauce, good quality mozzarella cheese and nice amount of basil arranging gave every bite delicious flavor. The Bourbon chicken wings had a delicious sauce on them but I would order them more crispy/ well done next time. The food was hot when delivered to the table, so much that we had to wait a couple minutes to not burn our mouths or fingers. They also have a pizza buffet Wednesday through Sunday from 11 am - 2 pm, which I wished we could've experienced but we got there too late for that. it's just another thing to remember for next time! Ambiance is simple but nicer tables and chairs, very clean and well maintained. If more people were there and talking it would've been loud, due to lots of "hard" surfaces; ie: a teenage boy accidentally knocked his chair back and it sounded like a gunshot! Lol! The pizza was ok. Not the best we've ever had, but not the worst. The breadsticks were decent, but the cheese and marinara were cold. The lady who took our order was not friendly at all and she seemed like we were bothering her while she sat to take our order. I'd recommend some training in customer service especially at a tourist spot like this. People have a lot of choices and they need to feel like you're happy they're at your business. Bread sticks were great. A bit too salty, but that was easily brushed off to our liking. The pizza... well... pizza is a peculiar thing, isn't it? We all have our preferences and "differences" in food sometimes just translate to preferences. We picked up a plain cheese deep dish. It's not the deep dish I was anticipating, being from the Detroit suburbs. It was extremely fluffy and thick. Much more so than what we're used to. Again, that's not bad - it's just a "thing". The flavor was ok. Not overwhelming nor underwhelming - just different. It's a hole in the wall kinda place, but I was perfectly fine with that. The staff was extremely friendly and personable and laughed appropriately at my attempts of humor. They really were the highlight of the meal for us. I'm not sure I would go back. Not because the pizza was bad - it wasn't. It just wasn't "our pizza". And after a long (but fun) day on the island, we were just hoping for some flavors and reminders of home. Don't let my review convince you to stay away from- but don't let it encourage you to go, either. "Different" pizza is a fickle partner. My girlfriend and I were craving pizza, so we decided to stop by since the other pizzerias were closed. We ordered a large pizza, and it was alright I guess. We weren't wowed by the quality and taste of the pizza. We also placed an order of boneless wings, and those tasted like the Tyson microwaveable wings that are sold in Walmart. B.C. Pizza is literally my favorite pizza chain of all time. There's nothing particularly special about it; it's just really, really good pizza. I wish we had locations downstate!! Every time I am up north, I try to get a B.C. Pizza. When I'm lucky, I'm in a town with a B.C. Pizza that has a lunch buffet like this location does. Not all locations have the buffet, but if you find one definitely do it! This was our first food in Michigan, it's apparently a chain restaurant that we don't have in Iowa. The chicken parmazeti was good and had a generous amount of toppings. The real highlight were the breadsticks, I love doughy breadsticks, and they had a really balanced garlic taste. BC's Pizza is a good spot for pizza in the Mackinaw City area. They have an extensive menu with about everything you could want from a pizza place. There are several sizes of pizza from small to sarge, yea Sarge. To give you an idea, the Sarge is bigger than an XL at 20in and eight slices each as big as your head, but nothing could be more satisfying than the Sarge, which is their most giant pizza 20in 8 slices each as big as your head. Our Sarge, I bet, was larger than 20in. We chose the bourbon wings, breadsticks, and Garden salad as well. The bourbon wings are sweet and not spicy, a must-try if you are into savory wing flavors. The pizza was good and hot when picked up and perfect for warming up the next day for breakfast. Among the many dining options in Mackinaw city BC stood out for value in my decision making . Then they delivered an excellent pizza as well. The environment is not very exciting but it's clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were very clean. We did a two pizza and breadsticks deal for 32 bucks . Long Distance Review Time: B.C. Pizza (Mackinaw City, MI) After a long drive from Traverse City, it was time to get something substantial to eat. What is better than pizza to fill you up? But this crust is beyond delectable, which was a slightly on the softer side. So when you first eat the pizza you need a fork, but the outer ring of crust is so soft and has a hint of sweetness. Great little pizza joint on Mackinaw City! They deliver and are open until 11, so it's perfect for dinner or a late night snack. We ordered a medium Patrolman's Special, and it came delivered to our hotel room about 35 minutes after we ordered. They considerately provided paper plates and napkins, and the delivery man was nice. The pizza dough was wonderfully sweet, and there was a generous amount of toppings, though I wish the red onion had been cooked a bit more. BC pizza has grey quality pizza, but with the delivery charge it was a but pricey (ended up being $20 with delivery fee and tip) and took quite a while. We were up here for the weekend and i wanted pizza our last night here. I usually read reviews before i go somewhere. There are 3 pizza places around here. The first one was busy and had people waiting outside. The second one was busy and had people waiting outside too. They both smelled hella good. And then we came upon this place. Not busy at all. But lemme tell you it was amazing!!! You have to go to the window and order your pizza. It's seat yourself. They have an actual pizza stand on the table. They give you a number when you go to order. We waited only about 15-20 mins for our pizza to come out. We got the bacon cheeseburger pizza. But they have a whole variety of different kinds. It was a lil douhy but that was fine. The pizza sauce was a lil much. But I'm not big on pizza sauce. All in all you should definitely try this lil place out. And they do deliver to your hotel. So that's definitely a good thing. read more
