only giving one star because yelp won't let me give zero. i don't think i've had this bad a pizza in a long time, i would honestly prefer a frozen pizza over this. i have never ordered a pizza and every single slice i pick up everything falls off, and i don't just mean the toppings,cheese and everything falls off right when you go to take a slice . if i wanted to make my own pizza i would have,but thanks for charging me to do it. not sure how this place has so many good reviews, must be because it's the only pizza place here. "hunger is the best spice" is the best way to describe this place, because it will only be good if you are starving. read more

We just stopped through town for lunch and decided to try this little pizza shop. Awesome service and even better food! They had a buffet, which I usually shy away from. It was SO good! Salad toppings were fresh and lots of choices! There was a large variety of pizza including a buffalo chicken that we loved. Will definitely be going back if we come this way again! read more

The pizza here is always good and their lunch buffet is amazing. We have been to pizza buffets in quite a few places and this one is the best by far. My family eats here whenever we're in town. Went on a Saturday night so it was busy but we just waited it out to get a table out on the deck. WORTH IT!T They had lots of other items on the menu that looked so yummy, but we all were in the mood for pizza & was not disappointed. Very good! So nice to sit outside & have the view of the lake as well. I thought the atmosphere was so nice in this town. They had music playing on the street speakers with an announcer telling those shopping and walking around about all the people that are visiting, as well as the upcoming events going on. The town also has a fireworks show over the water on Saturday nights! Found out about that while sitting on the deck enjoying the pizza. Would love to try this place again! read more

Maybe not a lot to chose from in St. Ignace but staying at a nearby hotel with two small kids, I had to try. BC Pizza (Better Choice) has a web site and a menu so I went with them. The gal who took the order tried to talk me into picking up because it was cheaper but frankly, I am on vacation. I don't want to dress up and leave my room and tote the kiddos out...we got a large pepperoni and small hawaiian. It came within 30 minutes and cost about $20. They were not totally warm and I noticed the delivery kid didn't have those heat saver bags. Nor did he have napkins for us in the hotel...The pizza was passable, nothing to brag about and we hiked to the hotel reception area (outside) for napkins and paper plates. No big deal but not great pizza either. The crust was merely okay - brown enough and chewy enough but little flavor and the sauce was the bright red, tart kind. This place has a franchise of BC's all over northern Michigan. Try another place. read more

Had a great experience at BC Pizza. Found it accidentally after a day with the family on Mackinaw Island. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the Pizza and the BBQ winds were awesome. For me that would have been enough; but, they also had really outstanding live music on the patio! On a Wednesday no less, Wow, who does that!?! I definitely recommend. Was staying in Mackinaw City with the family in late March. We had a beautiful sunny mid 40s day and decided to go across the bridge and do dinner in St. Ignace. My son's first time in the UP. Came across BC and decided to get pizza for dinner. It was a Tuesday, so first thing we were told when we walked in was half off on all large and extra large pizzas, awesome deal (not sure if this is always or just in the off season). We got a large bacon cheeseburger Pizza and an order of cheese stuffed breadsticks with ranch dressing. Got ourselves seated and no sooner they come out with the breadsticks, the kitchen goofed and made regular breadsticks and had them in the oven before they realized they were suppose to be cheese stuffed. They had great service and brought us the oops non-cheese breadsticks with marinara sauce while they cooked our cheese stuffed and brought those out to us with our ranch dressing. So we got bonus breadsticks. My 20 month old, myself, and my husband liked both breadsticks. Then we got our bacon cheeseburger pizza. All the food was great, way better than I expected from UP pizza since I'm from the Detroit area. We had so much leftovers that we boxed up and took back to our hotel for lunch the next day. Huge bonus in my book for them is that they have a baby changing table in the mens room, weirdly there is not one in the womens, but super awesome that the mens room had one. Never got to taste the pizza because we had to cancel our order.....couldn't wait anymore. Called after waiting almost an hour and a half. Manager said they are busy and understaffed. It would have been nice to receive a call saying they were running behind. I would recommend not opting for delivery. When the pizzas finally came, my husband told him we canceled....then, the driver proceeded to argue about it. Ridiculous. read more

we order pizza (delivery) for my family and friends were aware of an hour waiting for the food ! when they deliver the food one of our pizza is wrong! ( the pizza for my friend) they deliver a xl pizza with southwest souce with jalepeno and peperoni!!!!! but our origal order is xl pizza with southwest sauce with pineapple!!!! and jalapeño i called to let them know that we received a wrong oder. and after talking to the manager (female) she never apologized and instead giving me a sassy attitude!!!!! about that we waited for good amount of time for the food!!!! after arguing with her that the food is wrong and my friend would be the only one who wont be eating dinner with the family. they offer to send a medium pizza with supposed to be correct order this time !!!! we both agree and the manager never gave me the time how long we will wait again ..... after 30 mins pizzaaaaa came !!!!!!! We usually go to Momma Mia's for their taco pizza but we thought we would give BC's a shot to see how it compares. I got to say it was pretty good but not as good as Momma Mias. We also had the BBQ chicken pizza and that was pretty good. read more

We got ours to go, so as for the atmosohere I can only say that the deck looked like a very pleasant place to sit and enjoy a meal. Very friendly and expedient service at the counter. The food was done in a timely fashion and was exactly what we ordered. As for the food, it was very well made overall. The pizza was good but for one detail, which may be considered good or bad depending on your preference. It was too sweet and tasted very like Papa John's, which is very bad as far as I'm concerned. I know many people like that however, and to each their own...... The cheese bread was overly garlicky and a bit flat crusted. 5 star service, food gets 2 and a half. read more

Go at lunchtime. They have a salad and pizza bar which is awesome. Salad bar has all the toppings and many kinds of pizza. They refill it often and hard part was leaving room for pizza after a great salad. All you can eat and includes a drink. read more

What a great place for some out of the park pizza and very affordable prices! We stopped in here today for lunch and discovered that they have a "all you can eat buffet". You pay at the front door when you come in. (9 dollars each and that includes a drink). After we paid the lady asked if we had any special requests and I said that I liked Mexican style pizza so she said they would fix one and put it on the buffet. We got our drinks and a plate and dove into the salad bar first. What a nice salad bar it is! Everything was nice and fresh and there was a huge variety of salad "fixins". Then we got another plate and started with the pizzas. The Mexican style hadn't made it out yet but there were about 8 or 10 assorted pizzas that were hot and fresh. We got a couple of pieces each and they were very good for sure! About the time we had devoured them the Mexican style showed up at the buffet. Wow! I got me two pieces and it was absolutely the best I've had anywhere. On top of that they also put a container of taco sauce packets and sour cream packets out near the pizzas. Now I might have led a sheltered life but I've never seen that offered on a pizza buffet before! I topped off each piece with the taco sauce and sour cream and it was over the moon good! I can almost taste it now while I'm writing this two hours later! If you're in the area give this place a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed. read more
