    Cheers!!

Great service and delicious food. We went Memorial Day weekend and I'd definitely go back again. I tried something I normally wouldn't and so glad I did. Summers here go check them out!

Was hoping to give a 5 star review but I'm being generous with 3 star review. The view and service was excellent. Two young waiters busting and serving tables hats off to you both. The food is what lands this review at a 3 star. The Cranky Cuban was recommended by the waiter and it indeed left me Cranky. $16.99 and you could only taste the bread, had zero flavor, little meat. Side salad in a small bowl was $8.99 not worth that all. Wife had the special that was a spicy shrimp hoagie sandwich and that was decent. I will give Gangplank another go and not ask the waiter next time what he recommends.

Great food, good service with a nice view of the lake. The whitefish sandwich was good, the Cuban sandwich was really good. The best is the homemade fries that come with the sandwiches.

Wait was 30min quoted and wound up shorter. We walked the pier in the meantime. We ordered 3 appetizers and the fish and walked out very full. The portions for the Animal fries were huge! The space was busy with a "front porch" vibe. It was quaint and pleasant to look out at the harbor.

Fishbowl Drink. Notice the Swedish fish and the bottom of the glass is lined with Nerds.

Great food, excellent service!! Had few drinks, all very good, but order the Fishbowl, it won't disappoint. I had the Count burger, sooooo good, if you like garlic, give it a shot. My wife had the Cluckin' Chicken Sandwich, chicken and bacon between waffles, I ate the half she couldn't, now we're both miserable full, but well worth it. While on vacation we don't normally eat at the same restaurant twice, but this one may be the exception. Small space, but worth the wait if it's busy, go for a walk.

enjoyed the Whitefish Fingers so much, we ordered a second order! Hubby and I split a Bison burger and the house cut french fries, both were delicious. All dining is on the deck, offering everyone a view of the waterfront. Our wait time for table was approx. 45 minutes so we took the opportunity to walk across the street to the park/marina area to enjoy the beautiful lakeshore views. Service was great. Definitely coming back next time we're in da U.P.

Was passing through on my way to pictured rocks & stopped here for lunch! Sandwich was AMAZING!!! (Avocado/onion/dill havarti one) It was a little chilly when we went in May, but worth it for the yummy meal.

The last cheese curd, from our second order! We almost fought over this little nugget of crunchy, gooey goodness!

Today was our third time visiting the Gangplank. Every time we've driven north and south so far! The whitefish fingers are excellent, the whitefish sandwich is also great, and the Hot Lips Houlihan is like no other sandwich we have ever had, anywhere! Delicious. Today we tried the ghost pepper cheese curds, and had to get a second order they were so tasty!! If ever there were a reason to go off your diet, do it at the Gangplank. It's worth it! The place is small and breezy, the view is nice, and the service has been super every time. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Quaint! Great food Best whitefish sandwich we have ever had. Homemade margaritas amazing!!

The deck dining room is really fun and the service was great. We went at lunchtime and it was super busy. It was really nice that you can get a drink while you wait. I enjoyed my whitefish fingers and fries but they were ok. Because it was so busy, I think they sat for bit so the fish was not crispy. The dipping sauce for the fish was really good. I loved the dill. The fries were really good.

Some of the food was good. Had to wait a long time for a meal and they got it wrong. Decent view. Basically outdoor seating.

Fun times, good food. Loved the appetizers! It was busy but expected waits during tourist time. Wait staff was friendly and on the ball!

The wait was about 15-20 minutes - so much better of a wait time! I like the theme and vibe of the place - the play on bikes and name of the restaurant is perfect. Decor is bike themed but not overly done. Rustic and laid back. Our waitress was excellent - very friendly and attentive. All staff were wearing masks. Good drink menu in addition to food. A lot of small plate options but the portion sizes of the small plates could feed at least 2-4 people. I went with sweet potato fries and steak tender bites - delicious! The dipping sauces for the fries had three different options - sweet/savory, loved trying each one. The sweet potato fries were not mushy and had a good crunch. The steak was cooked to perfection - I asked for medium and I got medium! Everyone seemed happy with their food. Restrooms were downstairs. Nice dining option in the city - only con there was no outdoor seating. Picking up on social media - looks like this place used to be Huron St. Pub & Grill not sure if it was a re-branding or new owners. Either way, I hope Broken Spoke is here to stay on the island!

The gentleman at the counter knew we were new so he took the time to explain the beer "self service" situation and how that the QR codes were on the table for both beer and food. It was great to just flash that bracelet and get the tasting of whatever beverage you wanted to try. I've heard about these before, but never tried it firsthand. I really think it was convenient to just try a little bit of this and a little bit of that - no wait for staff. We ordered some wings and pulled popper bread, both were delicious. We are excited to stop back again next Thursday and bring some friends along to share the experience with them as well. Thanks also to the guy working over in the coffee counter as he helped us with a to-go box and plasticware. We were real rookies, but we won't be next time. Great staff and see you all soon

I traveled to Scotland and London, and this fish and chips beat out what I had while there. I am not a huge fan of steak fries, but these lived up to my expectations and had enough crisp on some to make up for the softness I associate with this type of fry. The Cole slaw was enough to be a meal in itself. But the fish, were the star of my plate and the tartar sauce...I need this recipe or a bottle of the sauce. My travel mate opted for the Ruben sandwich. I tasted the corned beef, had a great flavor to it. There were no complaints from our table. She also got a coffee to go, asked for cream...came out with the cutest little cream pitcher. The cup is also biodegradable, which is great since it would end up in a recycle bin along the way.
