Their costumer service is also great. One of the barista's who has been there for a while, I think her name is Sara, is so sweet and brightens my day! Love Peabody's! I usually just get a Cafe Au Lait with white mocha which is quite cheaper than mistos at Starbucks. And the white mocha tastes so much better and not as sweet than the bucks. Bcb is good. Good drinks, friendly baristas. It's a hit and miss with them though. You'll get that day where the barista is a bit rude and the creamer is watered down. But for the most part it's a good experience! read more

I love BCB because they have amazing coffee. I've never considered myself a coffee person but when I tried their White Chocolate Mocha, it was the perfect blend and taste. I love their Cheese bagel because when I toast it, all of the cheese melts on the outside so when I put cream cheese on my bagel, I can taste the cream cheese and the melted cheese on the outside. Such a perfection combination of bagels and coffee and I stop at BCB every time I can because I get cravings for their coffee! read more

Big City Bagels over any other coffee shop on campus. I tried this spot out this semester and im in love with the Madagascar vanilla latte! hot or cold its amazing. Not too sweet/too bitter. perfect combo (with Almond milk of course).Also love that theres another alternative to Soy and regular milk! thats a plus! Today my friend and I had a very disappointing experience buying coffee at the BCB stand in front of the Petersons Gym location. Before I share my complaint, we are regular customers and usually find our drinks satisfying except for today. We ordered two blended Madagascars and almost waited 20 minutes to receive our drinks. It was not even busy and the barista made other people's orders, before ours even though we had came before them. When we finally received our drinks, the presentation couldn't have been anymore disappointing. There was coffee spilling out of the top and the lid was not even closed properly. The barista could have at least wiped the cups before giving it to us but didn't. And there were no napkins available. Our drinks were not even considered blended, practically iced coffee with very little whip cream. Overall, I must say I most likely won't come back to this BCB location on state. read more

Always great fresh coffee. Beats Starbucks anyway, the iced coffee taste crisp and has a strong balanced flavor without being overwhelming. If you're in the mood for somethjmg bolder try their iced white mocha they used powdered bases but still very tasty, blended is a good option. Ive tried a number of the drinks including the green match tea which was not the best I've had but good. Formerly Peabody's, this is the chain of coffee carts around campus. Locations include the library, outside Peterson Gym, outside the Music building, and the courtyard by the EBA building. I love going here because Starbucks lines are just too long to stand there between classes and it tastes amazing! My go to drink is an iced white mocha with soy milk without whipped cream. The employees are always super friendly and can answer any questions you may have about the menu. read more

So I keep hearing good reviews about this place and decided to give them a try. Now I like to think of myself as having a well-educated palate since I lived overseas in Italy and Japan, and honestly, the coffee here is about the same as the Starbucks on campus. The prices are just as expensive (understandably, they are organic), but the few times I've gotten coffee (hot, cold, mixed, espresso shots) they haven't been exactly "omg, wow!" Actually, my coffees usually need more mixing, and is either watery or burnt. I hate to give such a mediocre review, so it seems that both Starbucks and this place have my equal service. One thing I do have to say is that their muffins are indeed very moist, bagels are so-so, and the scones have a gritty texture to them. It's probably because they use cornmeal in their scones, so it's sort of like eating glorified cornbread for breakfast. If you don't want to wait in line at the Starbucks on campus, then definitely go here. Overall though, I hate to say that the baristas at Starbucks make better drinks than the ones at Peabody's. Guess I'll just get my fix of coffee at wherever I can get it... read more

I've passed by these carts so many times on the way to class and finally gave it a try. I decided to try to spiced chai tea because 1) I love chai tea, and 2) I saw a nice tip about it. It was pretty good but I don't think any chai will ever trump Hot Java's chai. Sadly, I don't know what happened to that chain so Peabody's will do! Also, blended white mocha is tasty as well! I went to Peabodys for the first time today and was very surprised! I had always passed the cart by student services but kept on walking to Starcrooks, biggest mistake ever! Today I felt like an iced drink on a warm summer day, so I was about to order an iced mocha, my usual go to coffee drink, when I suddenly began to strike up conversation with the employee who suggested her personal favorite, the iced soy dolce de leche. This drink was amazing! I highly recommend! Love that the coffee is organic and I can now be a proud patron of Peabodys! read more

the best bagels by far in hillcrest San Diego area. I love the friendly service from everyone there at BCB café. the breakfast sandwiches, the healthy drink options and the amazing soups there offer are just wholesome and very filling. I enjoy the outside seating in the morning while I have my blended green smoothie and everything bagel smothered in there delicious cream cheese. I've only been here once but wow did they make an impression... the iced coffee was only $2 and they offer the Torani cane sugar syrup, which is SO good!! The baristas were so nice too. I would love to replicate that coffee because it was really really good. I try not to eat out much but Peabody's is definitely my new preference for coffee on campus. read more
