Great menu although pricey, cool atmosphere, excellent service from Shannon, disappointed with the food however. We were stopping through headed back downstate from a trip up north and thought we had been here before. We were excited to try some food items to share. We stopped in mid day on a Sunday, they wern't too busy and were seated right away. Shannon reviewed draft beer options and brought a few to taste. We decided on the Henhouse IPA, which was pretty tasty. Our food orders were in quickly: half and half margarita and fungi forage pizza, bison burger (medium well) with sweet potato fries. It didn't seem like the food took long to come out so were surprised the burger and fries were barely warm. Since we were splitting the burger and pizza, by the time I realized how undercooked the burger was my guy had eaten most of his. The burger came out more medium rare to medium then medium well. We both immediately noticed how dry, thin and overcooked the margarita pizza was. The fungi forage pizza was pretty good so we focused on that while we waited to tell Shannon how sad we were with the way the food was cooked. As Shannon listened she apologized and as we requested brought us extra sauce for our pizza. Since we already ate half the burger didn't expect a new one but did ask for fresh fries. Shannon brought the sauce and new fries out right away, and said she talked the cook, and would discount our meal which we don't usually expect but this time appreciated that. Shannon continued to check in and handled the situation perfectly, with a positive attitude and didn't make it awkward, which you don't always come by with food complaints. Although she handled it, we were a little surprised that a supervisor or manager didn't stop by to speak with us though am pretty sure we saw the guy pass by multiple times. All in all this place seems great on the surface, and Shannon went above expectations to make things right, but due to the general food quality we probably wouldn't come back.

September 13, 2025 - Ukiah I came in expecting typical pub food, but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the menu. They were offering a September featured local wine flight ($16), with the option to add a matching food flight ($16). Intrigued, I couldn't resist ordering both. Here's what was included in the wine and food pairing: 2023 GRAZIANO MONTE VOLPE VERMENTINO Spicy Tuna Cone / Avocado / Spicy Horseradish Marinade / Mini Sesame Cone / Pickled Onion 2023 GRAZIANO CHENIN BLANC Red Wine Caramelized Onion Cheese Dip / Sourdough Crostini / Ricotta 2019 GRAZIANO CARIGNANE Chicken Parmesan / Crispy Chicken / Marinara / Fresh Mozzarella / Spaghetti The wine flight itself was just okay, but the food really made the experience special. My favorites were the Spicy Tuna Cone and the Chicken Parmesan--both were delicious. I'd definitely order another food and wine pairing if they offer one on my next visit.

Exceeded all expectations. Great food and great service! I was surprised by how tasty the mac and cheese is. A sure adult and kid favorite! I was shocked to experience (yes, experience) such elevated desserts. By way of the apple dessert was a white chocolate shell that looks like a green apple and it's filled with a crème and apple filling atop a toasted shell. You have to crack the shell of the faux apple to eat the dessert. This was completely unexpected from a brewery, but a pleasant surprise. We also ordered the burger, the triple pig pizza, the chop salad, and the mushroom pizza - all of which were great!

I was impressed with the restaurant when I walked in, it felt spacious with a lot of warm colors. We were immediately seated, and we ordered a Pizza and fish tacos. I was surprised that the pizza came out before the fish tacos. We had finished most of the pizza when I finally flagged our server down to ask her about the Fish Tacos. She acted surprised that we hadn't received them and then disappeared. I made a comment about how it is a good thing we were sharing, one of us would be done with the meal with the other still waiting to get theirs. A different server brought the fish tacos over to the table and apologized, while saying that the kitchen was backed up. I thought the food was mediocre. I wouldn't order the fish tacos again and although the pizza was OK, I thought it lacked flavor.

This place was highly recommended by locals. It is situated in the middle of downtown ukiah. Plenty of street parking around. Super friendly people working here. Got seated right away. Atmosphere is cozy and very fitting for a brewing company. Ha I unfortunately don't handle beer well. Started off with a glass of brut and followed by a Pinot. Wines were great. I had a side Caesar salad. It was over dressed. They took it off my tab. I had the steak and fries. I ordered the steak to be medium. With a side of sweet potato fries. Sweet potato fries were beautiful. Perfect crisp and flavor. The steak is more medium rare. I actually love it. I think there is horseradish in the sauce. It works so well together. Finished with a chocolate peanut butter mouse. Yummy! It was a little frozen at the beginning after some warm up, it was just great! Would definitely visit again next time I am in town! Love it

Enjoyable. Beer is on the lighter side and easy to enjoy. Our meal with satisfying. I had my heart set on the special lamb burger but when I ordered was told the kitchen wasn't ready to serve that. So the bison burger was my next choice. It was fine. We also had the caprese salad with heirloom tomatoes. The tomatoes were a little tough. A band was setting up and would start at 7:00. We missed that due to an earlier dinner. Our server had a beautiful smile. Happy hour is M-F 4:00-6:00. $5 pints.

I went to this restaurant with friends last night. The waitress was very friendly as well as the other staff members. They were a little slow getting the silverware to the table after the food arrived, but we were waiting for other people's food so that wasn't a big deal The big deal was what I chose was a waste of money. It looked like they put scraps on my salad to create a Cobb salad. It's one of my favorite choices when I go to a restaurant. Corn, black beans, I guess it was a Mexican version or everything left from the back of the house. You probably wonder why didn't I complain? I'm with the group of friends. I'm not gonna embarrass them with my opinion. Where were the cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese very confusing! You should've called it a Mexican Cobb salad would've made more sense. I'm gluten-free so I have a little bit of a challenge. Picking thing off your menu. It's not a food craze it's an illness.

We stopped in for a drink and dessert and were reminded of how amazing the staff was. This is one of the few breweries that are welcoming to such a diverse customer basis. The staff are dedicated to making this environment welcoming from checking in with their guests and getting a table clean as soon as it's available so you don't have to wait in line. On this particular Thursday we had the added benefit of live music performed by Wolf Tree. This made our drinks and out-of-this-world desserts even more enjoyable. If in the area this is a must-visit location not for the drinks or food but just a welcoming staff. I would even dare to say if you are outside of Ukiah it's worth the travel to stop at least once in a lifetime.

Stopped in from out of town and had the bison burger along with the macaroni and cheese and I got to say both were a phenomenal!! The service was amazing. The scenery was dope & this place overall has a great vibe. I'm more of a whiskey drinker so I didn't try any other IPAs or beer on tap, but I'm sure it's good based on how good everything else was. If you're in the Ukiah area highly recommend this place. Oh did I mention how amazing the fig cheesecake was?

All I had was a Pint of the Palace Porter. No food for me. I sat at the bar and chatted it up with the locals. Real friendly people and the staff was great. A great micro brew atmosphere. The bar was full when I arrived on a Wednesday at 7:30 with only 2 seats empty. I have no problem coming back to this place. See my YouTube channel Coolest Life.

Popular place in Ukiah. The pizzas and burgers are the most ordered. Definitely recommend the Fungi Forage pizza!

Wednesday August 25, 2021 Is there outside seating ? We have 2 girls, age 6 & 4. Don't want to eat inside right now.

We have tons of outdoor seating surrounding our building. We even have fine misters too keep you cool on those super hot days! You can choose to order with your smartphone from your table so you don’t have to step inside at all if you don’t want…

Hi. Is this restaurant dog friendly?

Yes! We have a patio where dogs are always welcome. Unfortunately, we have to abide by CA state law in the dining room, where only service dogs are allowed.

That's my experience of Northspur. I've never stopped here with friends, but I've thought of my friends while I've visited. As in, this is a place my friends would really like. And, this: it feels like folks from around these parts that have friends come here with friends, and while they're here from all appearances they have a really good time. They could be faking but I don't think they are. The Willits bypass as observed by others and maybe other places by me was an unnecessary boondoggle that not only separated normal CA taxpayers from their money so as to avoid maybe five minutes extra travel time as they whisked north to ... to where would anyone need to be whisked in the north. I-5 is for whisking. 101 is for a different kind of trip. Not only that, the bypass also then has folks that don't know what's in Willits pass right on by. Their loss, though also a stake in the heart of the vitality of local business. Thanks, legislature, Caltrans and people that make money building things we don't need. This then for the people that would otherwise whisk by without stopping and are maybe hungry and turn to Yelp as the leave Ukiah to see what's ahead. Northspur is ahead, my friends. And if it's late in the day, get a room in town so you can sample every drop Northspur has to offer. The vittles aren't complicated, the menu isn't exhausting - but everything on it is good. The brewed offerings are delicious. Staff is straight out of Lake Woebegone (all the women are strong, all the men are good-looking, and all the children are above average). We came to enjoy the Pliny but they have a great selection of different beer (and great prices too!) We had plans to eat elsewhere afterwards but couldn't help but order something to snack on while enjoying our drinks. Ordered the Pliny fries with added grilled onions, chicken wings with Pliny sauce and the vinnie's ice cream sundae for dessert. Pliny fries came with white cheddar fondue, jalapeños, garlic oil and the grilled onions we had added was a nice touch. Chicken wings were a nice size, cooked well and the sauce surprisingly had a good kick to it. Really good! Came with a side of celery, carrots and both blue cheese and ranch dipping sauce. Now that ice cream sundae? So good! Ice cream is made from scratch from the owner's recipe. The almonds are a great addition for the texture. Huge serving also! Service was great. Staff was attentive and checked on us often. We watched the World Cup game inside and when that was finished, went outside to play a few games of cornhole. It's free. Just have to give your ID to get the sacks to play with to make sure they get it back. Great spot. Would definitely come back!
