Amber Ale and Pineapple Haze Cider

We stopped by for a late lunch and day drinking. Lovely little place, though definitely a clean, utilitarian vibe as opposed to anything overly dressed up. Inside and outside dining are connected, giving it a very open feel. Very friendly staff. From a wide selection I got the Amber Ale. Full taste without being overpowering or bitter. But is a toasted aftertaste which was pleasant. Wife had the Pineapple Haze cider. Refreshing, not overly tart, and just enough alcohol content to keep things boozy. Caesar Salad was a salad. Nothing to write home about but good. Pulled poor sliders, on the other hand, were amaze-balls. Juicy, saucy, little bombs of flavor. We got the sweet barbecue sauce, but they also have a Carolina style option. Tiny bit of kick to the spice, in a good way.

Great dog-friendly patio! We got the hot dog, chicken bacon ranch sandwich, and pulled pork sandwich. My husband was raving about his chicken bacon ranch sandwich being one of the best he's had! Friendly service and clean bathrooms. It was a nice pit stop en route to Fort Bragg.

Northspur is a fun great spot in Willits. I personally recommend the veggie sandwich with goat cheese! The artichoke jalapeño dip is also delicious! Felix stout is a must if you like stouts! It has a rich, bold flavor. The service is friendly and efficient.

Visited NBC recently while in town one evening. A cool open venue with high ceilings, several inside tables and chairs and a nice covered outside seating area. Walk up counter service, order and pay, get a number and they bring your food to you when ready. Standard pub grub, sandwiches and such on the menu. After giving it a once over I settled on the Chicken Bacon Sandwich with a draft lager. The sando was grilled nicely with a good bacon to chicken ratio, fresh lettuce and housemade pickles, a nice dressing, some red onions and a side of kettle chips. The sandwich was good and hit the spot, the draft cold and a nice medium body brew. 3.5 Stars rounded up for the friendly service 00971

This is not a beer review - food alone. We stopped here for lunch on our drive home. We just ordered our food at the bar & seated ourselves. Our food came out super quick & hot. My husband got the one cider they had & the cubano sandwich, which was great & I got the pulled pork sandwich with the Carolina sauce - be sure to ask for extra napkins - it was a mess to eat as it was super saucy, but super delicious! I'd definitely come back for the food. .

Yummy '23 barrel aged Felix w/ chocolate. WOW! Great service. Exciting kitchen items. Hard to decide what I wanted for lunch. Decided on the pulled pork. I was just disappointed my debut visit, they were out of half of their stock . Have to visit again. Very strong on IPAs. If you love them, this is your place!! They have plenty of seats inside and out. And games for your family.

Nice place with beautiful outdoor seating, friendly service & yummy food. Today I had the sourdough reuben. It was delicious.

Apparently the place for beer because the food sucked. Unimpressive nachos & a poor excuse for a Cuban sandwich.

The pulled pork sandwiches are bomb and the beers are good. Only thing is this place closes to early.

I feel like there are just enough haters leaving ridiculously negative reviews that completely lack the geographic awareness required to understand why anyone comes to a place called the MF Lost Coast. For starters, there are only like 3-6 places to go, period, let alone a restaurant where you can grab dinner and drinks. Why, you ask, my kind denizen of anti-reviews? Because you're on a stretch of far Northern California coastline that's practically cut off from mainstream civilization. There's one road in and out, and the closest town is at least an hour away, let alone a proper grocery store. No drug stores. No Uber Eats. And, most blasphemous of all, no Costco. Or, if you prefer your single-serving organic vegetables wrapped in plastic, no Trader Jizzles. So yeah... for reasons, no one fucking lives here. I, for one, love this place. Is it perfect? No. Is it a deal? Absolutely not. But is it the best place within an hour to kick up your feet after a long day outdoorsing? Hell fucking yes. And if you actually want places like this to survive on a remote finger of the Northern California coast for years to come, maybe tell your single-serving, artisanal, Trader Blows organic attitude to get lost... somewhere else.
