Wow, what a find! I was in Tucson for a long weekend and desperately in need of some TLC for my hands and feet, which had been utterly neglected since the pandemic started over a year ago. I had *very* stressed skin on top of that, and Glorianna couldn't have been more gracious about it, and so helpful! I had a lovely, relaxing mani and pedi with wonderful hot rocks, fresh herbs, and soothing scrubs/creams; the vegan polish she uses is also spectacular (5 days later, and seriously not a chip even on my right hand, which I pound on the keyboard daily). The spa is a serene place and they are taking their safety seriously: one guest per side, masks required, etc. I can see why Glorianna has customers who have been following her for years--I certainly would, if I lived here! I know I'll be back in town, however, and I will most certainly be including another trip to Be Green when I do. read more

I had been struggling with ingrown toenails for a long time and had tried two other nail salons in Tucson but they hadn't been able to alleviate the discomfort in my foot digits. After doing my research on Yelp, I was able to find Be Green and the ingrown is now "Be Gone!" Glorianna is the owner/nail technician extraordinaire of Be Green Salon & Day Spa. Her spa is cozy and clean. She uses vegan nail polish and her own homemade scrub which changes every month. Last month was piña colada. This month is "red, white and blue" with cranberries representing the color of valor. The scrubs are all-natural and can actually be consumed, if so desired. She takes her time with the manicure and pedicure. She gives extra attention to detail and gets extra points for thoroughness. Manicure and pedicure include a soak and a gentle massage of the forearms and legs with the sumptuous homemade scrubs. She is the only nail technician working so I recommend making reservations instead of just walking in. You can either call her or send her a text message. I think you can also find her on the Vagaro website. The polish on my nails has lasted for a little over a month. But the most important thing of all is the fact that my big toenails are on their way to a healthier, more better-looking future. I take long walks every day and am glad for the absence of any pain or discomfort inside my shoes. All thanks to Be Green! What a great experience! Had we known we lived so near to this gem, we would have already become regulars. Our 11 year anniversary yesterday, and we decided to take it easy, so lunch and yes that's right, get pedicures. For the last year or so we have been making strides to be healthier and also more green. Following with this mindset, I preferred a green nail salon, that provided a healthier experience for mind and body as well as the environment. And Be Green delivered. The owner Glorianna is awesome! Passionate, friendly, informative and professional. She delivered. We were very surprised and excited to see how beautiful the inside of the salon was. Original wood floors, very open and inviting. Her pedicure stations were very nice and welcoming. Not your typical everyday nail salon with boards of people and chemical smell deep within the air and walls. She played relaxing nature music and sounds, during the treatment which absolutely created a sense of calm and relaxation. All natural products were used. Fruit was infused into the water, essential oil added for pleasant smell. Her own scrub is used as well, which changes each month to something new and exciting.
