I've never written a review this long or in-depth for any company before, but Be Home Remodeling and Ben Maor absolutely deserve it. The experience I had working with Ben was beyond anything I expected in all the best ways: value, professionalism, responsiveness, and work quality. Before choosing a contractor, I met with six different professionals. Each had their strengths, but none came close to the level of care, insight, and professionalism that Ben brought to the table. From our very first conversation, Ben didn't just hear what I wanted, he understood what I needed. More than that, he showed genuine empathy for my situation. This wasn't just a remodel; this was my mother's house. She had recently passed away, and this home was filled with emotion and meaning. Ben never treated it like just another project. Because I live in Washington and the house is in California, I knew strong communication and trustworthy project management would be critical. I wouldn't be able to stop by or check in physically; everything would need to be handled remotely. Ben was a godsend in this regard. He kept me informed, but not overwhelmed. He communicated with clarity, timeliness, and respect. He always knew when a decision required my input and when he could move forward without adding stress to my plate. Every question I had was answered with patience, and no concern was ever dismissed. As with any remodel, large or small, unexpected issues came up. But what made this experience so different was how Ben handled them. He took care of everything. I never had to chase down updates or worry that things were slipping through the cracks. He navigated every challenge with professionalism and grace, and I always felt like I was in incredibly capable hands. Ben also has a real talent for design. He sees the potential in a space and helps bring that vision to life. But more importantly, he listens. He offered suggestions and design ideas that aligned perfectly with what I told him I hoped to achieve. His guidance was never pushy, it was collaborative, thoughtful, and always rooted in my goals for the home. We were looking to find a contractor that does entire interior remodeling for our 38 year old house plus replacing our entrance deck walkway, water heater, house insulation and some exterior house trim painting . We found Benjamin Maor of "Be Home Remodeling". We found Benjamin very friendly, engaging and easy to talk to for what we wanted to do in our home remodeling project. After talking with him for about 2 hour he convinced us to work with him on our remodeling project. He made out a list of what was covered in the remolding contract, which was mostly the labor and painting costs. All other cost would be covered by us. He assure us that we would be able to live in the house while the project was underway with minimal inconvenience and told us the project would take 3-4 months to complete. Everything that needed to be covered during the project was covered with plastic and they cleaned up every day. Lia, the designer was very good in measuring the floor space, cabinet space for our kitchen and three bathrooms. Although she gave us recommendations of stores to buy tiling, flooring, and other materials and fixtures we went with our own stores to find all the materials we needed for our remodeling project, which included: new flooring (KZ), tiling (Floor Decor) for 3 complete bathrooms, vanities (KZ), fixtures, shower doors, 2- new toilets, recessed lighting throughout the entire house, new electrical outlets, switches, bathroom fans, cook top, oven, exhaust fan, kitchen counter top, cabinets (Sincere), etc. The two main workers for Benjamin were very skilled in their craftsmanship for what had to be done. They both came to work on time from 8:30am to 4:30pm every day and finished the whole remodeling project in 3-1/2 months, including a 2-week delay by City inspectors during the holidays. Although, most of the hard work in completing this project is done by the two workers (Ricardo & Alejandra), there is still a lot of searching and buying things by us to complete the project as it runs its course. As I look back, I would recommend Be Home Remodeling for a remolding project like ours, because their work is excellent, efficient, timely, and professional. Project managers come by periodically to make sure everything is done right and answer any questions you might have and you can always contact Benjamin directly if needed to get things corrected. Hired Be Home to remodel 2 bathrooms and put new counter top in the kitchen. Along with the high cost for these services the experience was less than desirable. Without any help from the project manager all materials were picked out and purchased (except for viewing and choosing tiles and counter top material) and mistakes were made with the purchase of materials due to the lack of guidance expected from the project manager. The project manager assured that he would be overseeing and involved in all aspects of the remodel but that was not evident in the final outcome. After living with the remodel of the bathrooms and kitchen these are the issues with the construction. 1) the guest bathroom was not closed off during demo although the project manager assured that it would be. That caused dust and debris in other rooms of the home 2) the floor in the master bathroom was not leveled before installing the floor tiles; the floor makes noise when walking on it and there are concerns about tile cracking 3) the grout in several place in the master shower is chipping away from the tiles 4) the walls in the master were sanded smooth for repaint except above the bathroom door which still has the texture finish 5) there is paint on surfaces in both bathrooms that shouldn't be and is difficult to remove 6) there is no caulking where the baseboard meets the tiles floors in both bathrooms 7) the kitchen counter top was installed but the job was incomplete and the worker had to return to correct the job 8) the seam on the counter top at the kitchen sink front and back is visible and join can be felt 9) the adhesive used to join the 2 pieces of the count top around the sink was not sanded smooth on the inside front and back lip and can be seen and felt 10) after the worker returned to correct the issues with the kitchen countertop he did NOT close off the kitchen from the rest of the house before sanding. Cleaning up the dust around the living space from sanding was a several day job 11) the workers DID NOT clean up in the bathrooms or kitchen. Still finding debris in the window tacks and throughout that is impossible to remove without a shop vac. The lack of project management by the project manager was very evident throughout the entire project. After the high cost, expectations for the remodel was high but not met. The project manager was contacted about issues but is ignoring. read more

You can do it the hard way or you can call Be Home Remodeling, who came to us via ANGI. We met with five contractors. Tomer Edelman from Be Home rose to the top. It was his persistence and confidence that I would "love" the KITCHEN when team was finished that sold me. I gave him my vision for the new kitchen. Amy Yu, the designer, came and measured our space and I selected the style of cabinets and the color. Overnight I changed my mind. Typical! Demolition was flawless. The crew Tomer brought are a stellar group. Daniel and his guys were so competent. Installation of the new cabinets was complicated by my insistence that the island orientation change but the crew had no problem. The cabinets were solid and solidly installed. The plan was coming together! The quality of both the cabinets and workmanship were beyond compare. Tomer was right. I love my new kitchen. I live on a fairly steep hillside and I hired Be Home Remodeling to rebuild my back deck and planters. This was a very involved job because the planters are part of the retaining structure in my back yard. I was so impressed with their work (on time, clean, on budget, attention to details, good problem solving) that I hired them immediately to do some electrical work in my kitchen and install outdoor lighting. Similar experience, including a walk through at the end of both jobs to ensure I was happy with the final results. I could not recommend this company more highly.
