I used to really love this place but there is one woman who is always super rude to me. The last time I went, she filed my nails and I kept pulling away and asking her to stop but she kept going until it started to bleed. Then she blamed me for cutting it before I went there. I didn't say anything but I did say I didn't want to get my eyebrows done anymore and she charged me $30 for regular pedicure, which was always notably less for all my prior appointments. My manicure & pedicure also came out really bad so it was not worth the $65 before tip lol. Everyone else at the salon is great - but unfortunately I don't think I'll be coming back. read more

This is the closest nail salon to me & I went every week for a regular mani for years. No one bothered to learn my name - ever - although they knew other ladies's name. When I found someone that I liked over the others, I requested appointments but then I would walk in and find that they were helping someone else and I got pawned off on another person I didn't necessarily want. Dont' even get me started on the (looked like a) teenage boy they had giving manicures - he mangled and hurt me so much that I refused to be done by him and would sit waiting until someone else opened up. Last night was the last straw. I needed a mani BAD and walked in at 6:50pm. They dont' have a website, only a Facebook page & hours are listed at closing at 7:30 pm. When I walked in the permanently-miserable guy at the front desk said "we're closing at 7:20". I said that his Facebook page said 7:30 - he shrugged and said indignantly "well *I* don't manage that page!" I said I understood but mabye he could tell someone who did to update it to the correct time... He wouldn't look at me. I said even though I couldn't get a mani/pedi, there was at least enough time for a regular manicure - i mean, it was 40 minutes!! The ONLY words that kept coming out of his mouth as he shook his head No was "we close at 7:20. Not enough time. We close at 7:20". I finally just said "well i guess you don't want my money" and then I walked out, and up the block to another nail salon who said "we close at 7:20 but we can fit you in for a regular manicure sure!". And guess what? They got my money, a nice tip, AND i went back the next day for the pedicure too. AND THEY WALKED OUT THE DOOR AT 7:20. Bottom Line: the guy who runs the front is regularly nasty (this was not the first time - one time I told him the same movie had been playing for 3 months and maybe they could change it and he said "I don't do the movies"....this man should learn the word "Responsibility"! He's Teflon Don!), they dont bother to get to know you, and even when they CAN help you, they won't. SKIP IT! Walk north up Park Avenue, cross the street, and go to a place they actually appreciate you and your money. read more

My sister just moved to Rockville Centre and she found this nail salon. I went with her once on a whim and I am so glad I did. I do not live in the area but I like to go there whenever I can. The salon itself is very large and clean. I love that there is never a wait. The manicures that I get from there last days longer than other salons. I don't know why but my nails usually chip within 2 - 3 days. This manicure lasted a week! My only complaint (and why I took off 1star) is because the last time I went I had my eyebrows waxed and she barely cleaned them up. I had to tweeze them when I got home so that was disappointing. I probably won't go for waxing again. I do also love that they give you a few minute back rub while your nails are drying. Very few salons still do this! It's a nice touch. read more

Had one of the worst manicures from this place. There are so many chairs here that it is almost like a factory. You will have the quickest manicures here because all they do is rush and you won't get quality work here. I tried to show the girl I had a pic of nails I liked on my phone and she yelled at me for going on my phone saying she had customers waiting for her, and was continuously shaking her head at me. I wanted all of my nails one color, except one nail I wanted glitter. She kept saying "oh, we don't have that here". I kept trying to look down at my nails and she kept pulling them out of my view pointing them down. When she was done with my nails, they were so crooked, they were on a slant, I was livid. I tried to show her and she wanted no part of it. I had another girl fix my nails for me and rather than her taking the polish off to file my nails, she filed them with the polish on, which started chipping my nails and she thought I would be satisfied with that. I told her to repaint my nails and she got mad. I didn't get a back massage after my manicure, did not even fix my cuticles... I got no special treatment at all, they basically paint your nails and that's it... For $10, it is way overpriced for how little you gets. Will not return here. read more

Miserable Management. They charge all different prices when you pay cash and give the wrong change amount. " DO NOT PAY CASH" For example, I had a manicure on Thursday gave the woman a $20 bill she gave me back $ 5 singles. A manicure is $12 I knew instantly what they had done because it was the 2nd time it was done . The first time the manicurist told me $15 after she saw I was pulling out cash money. At first I did not know if they raised their prices, but when I went over to dry my nails the price list stated $12 . I told the manager and she was apologetic but the girl that did it was still there many times after that. I did not care about the $3 I thought the manicurist was ripping off the owner. It is now apparent the management is involved in this scheme. I will no longer be using this service as this is not an honorable salon. There are too many salons in the area not be treated honestly. If they think that woman are not noticing their wrong. You have a very educated, professional clientele that go there. read more

I went to do a trial for my wedding, which I specifically specified and told them several times. I came prepared with pictures of what I wanted and again said this is what I want specifically. Did they listen at all? No instead I had some shit of a job done. I kept asking them through out the process does this look right? Oh yea yea yea that's how it look and you come back it be better....what? 90$ later it's the ugliest thing I have ever seen in my life. I made an appointment for the following day to have them fixed by the girl who knows how to do them and instead they put me with the girl that fucked them up in the 1st place. I want my money back. The worst experience. Most expensive nail salon in Rockville centre and a total disappointment. They told me they would look natural. I just tried this place for the first time today. I used to go to Capri but have not been to happy with the service there as of late. ... The place was a lot bigger and busier than I had imagined. They took my mother and I right a way but it was not at that busy of a time so that didnt surprise me. I got a mani pedi and had had the gel manicure on before this which they took off for me. My mom got a spa pedi and a massage. All the services were good but I was sad that my nail chipped when I got home :/...I also found it to be a lot more expensive than I had imagined it to be. I use to go to this place a long time ago, stopped going only because it is a little far from my house and parking is meter parking only. It is not appealing on the inside, things look misplaced, disorganized, and it's dates and lacks that clean telling feeling. he service was rude, she was not engle in dealing with my hands and had scratched me several times, also, was rude, when I was deciding my color for a gel manicure she took the book from my hand and said let me help. When I picked a color she began paining and it had shimmer in it which I specifically said that's not what u wanted, and she also did not let me change it. I have been coming here because it's closest to my house.. after today I will be walking the extra blocks to another salon. I made an appointment and was placed with a young man, maybe 20, who had absolutely no idea what he was doing. He didn't file my nails, didn't cut my cuticles and my manicure and pedicure look like a 2 year old did them. this place is horrible. if you want to be treated like garbage and laughed at by the employees then this is the salon to go to. they are rude and disrespectful. they turned me away 45 minutes before closing and humiliated me in front of a room full of customers. they laughed as I pleaded to get my nails done. the prices are high and they act as if they don't care about your business. i am a business owner and would never treat anyone this way. Place is beautiful a bit pricey then an average nail salon but they offer a lot of various spa packages. Been here quite a few times and never had complaints. Most staff friendly and always greets you! Until this visit a woman named laura did my nails.. She completely rushed my pedicure so was very hard to enjoy. She kept sneezing and wiping her nose with her shirt after me repedeatley saying god bless you, no thank you. When she did my nails she rushed them too she left dirt under my nail & when I thanked and tipped her although it to me was a shi**y job she didn't say your welcome. I had to carry all my belongings including a purse keys phone and drink with my freshly painted nails. And to top it off pro bally not knowing I understood Spanish she continued to talk about the bottom of my feet and feet in general to the girl next to her. I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon for a gel manicure fill-in. I'm not from this area, but went there on a recommendation. The nail tech, named Kim, said she had time to give me a manicure although I know they close early on Sunday. She was speaking in Korean to her co-workers and the feeling I had was that they wanted to get ready to close (although it was almost 2 hours before they were scheduled to close). In the middle of removing the old gel, she said that my nails were a mess and she could fix it with a gel that was more expensive but my nails would be in better shape. I asked her how much it would cost and she said $90.00. Instead of going with my gut that something was not right, I allowed her to continue because she had already filed my nails down and removed the old gel. Once I agreed, she started speaking to her co-workers and was laughing. I guess she wanted to be compensated for being bothered. I am definitely not a complainer and have never given a bad review. I'm writing this to possibly save someone else from being as naive as I was that day. read more
