She let me hop in the massage chair (the electric one), prior to my chair massage (the human version); which loosened me up a little prior to Karen's wonderful massage chair massage! Not only does Karen meet you at your bodies needs (I told her to beat me up and she did!) Karen is also hilarious! I'd easily come back, and recommend Karen! The gentlemen working tonight (Mike and James) were so helpful and pleasant. Even when someone who looked high and irritable, they handled it with grace. I wanted something that could relax my whole body and was recommended to use the body massager. The calf massage was the best part! Great place for a manicure. I purchased the classic manicure while waiting at the airport for friends to arrive. Marcella, the woman who did my manicure was very professional and friendly. My nails looked amazing after the manicure! :) There was a small massager for the lower back on the manicure chair which was a great add on. I waited for 20 minutes on the big massage chair for my nail paint to dry off. The chair was very relaxing and I loved waiting too because of that. :D read more

Very disappointed in my interaction and experience with the staff. I went in to get a basic manicure done prior to my flight as I had extra time and a delay to kill. They mentioned that there was one person on wait prior to me and it will just be a short 15 minute wait. That was not the case and the gentleman working was very rude and didn't seem to care to help out any costumers. I witness multiple people go in and try to get assistance, but we just ignored. The wait continued to grow for me and anytime I would check in he would only keep telling me 15 minutes, even if that was 45 minutes from the original 15. I moved away from the spa and then went back to check my place in line and they marked me as a no show without confirming that I was canceling my appointment. Overall the staff was unfriendly, unhelpful, and it was a waste of time- especially since I didn't get services as they were canceled underneath me! read more

I'm here at the airport now writing this: I never leave negative reviews as I don't like to affect businesses in a negative way unless they truly drop the ball. I came in and the lady who greeted me was very kind and had me write my info down on a pad. I wrote my info down with phone number forgetting to add my name. I came back about 30 minutes later and the lady informed me I had not put my name down so they had to move forward but they would get me next. The male masseuse had an attitude telling me he would not be taking me and there was someone before me. Any one of the two individuals could have texted or called me letting me know they were available for me but instead had me come there and wait an additional 5 minutes to tell me someone who had signed up after me would now go before me. Regardless of how good they are as therapists, they should have someone there contacting clients who put their number down even via text. A word to anyone who will visit this business. Who would've thought that the best massage of one's life could be found in a lil nook by gate 12 at the LAX airport? Certainly not I! All the staff were very kind and helpful when I had questions about their services. While waiting, I was even able to sit in the lounge massage chair. I was a bit skeptical at first because it is a little pricier than your average massage ($42 for 15 mins.) HOWEVER.... I assure you, it's worth it! Especially if you're lucky enough to have Mike!! Honestly, I came in so stressed from work/life, but in just 15 minutes I left feeling light as a feather... all thanks to him :) I know it sounds like I'm exaggerating, but you'll have to try it for yourself to understand. I've always been skeptical of these in-terminal relaxation spots as too many times the upcharge is totally not worth the service. That definitely isn't the case here! I woke up with a bad crick in my neck that had been bothering me all day. Given that I had arrived 1.5 hours early for my flight, I thought I would give this place a shot (and boy was I glad I did!) Carlos was amazing. I've had a lot of massages in my lifetime but he seemed to know where my knots were and worked on them enough to ease the strain without causing distress or injury. Pressure was perfect throughout. Within two minutes I knew I'd be asking if he did massages outside of LAX too bc he's worth it. They offer you water and if you have time, a chance to use their super fancy massage chairs. These chairs are incredible too and are so advanced it almost feels like being on a rocket ship. It is expensive (can't get around that truth) but if everyone's skill level is as good as Carlos's, it's just as worth it as the free drinks in the priority pass lounge next door! This place is amazing!! I wish I could remember the woman's name who helped, she had short ear length hair and glasses. She was so kind! She put all my belongings in a safe place and had me take a seat. I picked the 10 minute chair massage. I had been carrying around a backpacking backpack all weekend so my shoulders really hurt and she she did a great job loosening them up. She let me chill in a massage chair while she ran my card and let me hang for a bit after. I never felt rushed to leave. Great atmosphere here, wish there was a place like this at home! I love this place! I normally get a massage where I live in Kansas every 2 weeks. A massage at Be Relax is SO MUCH better than any other massage I have ever had. It's so perfect right before a trip or right after a trip and I always try to make the time to get a massage when I am at LAX. Yes, it is expensive, but for me it's 100% worth it. If you can, get your massage from Delonna. She is premium. I've had massages from several different staff and she is by far the best one there. Choose the chair if you're given the option! Definitely a way to get relaxed before your massage. Taliana (or maybe it was Tatiana) did a great job with back, neck, shoulders, arms massage. She zeroed in on the knots & wasn't afraid to apply pressure needed to work on them. Afterwards, I was offered water & the chance to sit in one of their massage chairs again if I wanted. i am rarely moved to post a review but the "be feet" massage was wonderful (tight calves after running up some santa monica mountain trails). Delonna the massage therapist was both pleasant and talented. I get deep tissue massages every other week so this recommendation comes with a decent amount of knowledge as to what to expect.
