We hired Mary's Touch Moving to pack up two large PODS that we needed to move from Ocean View, DE…read moreto Concord, NC. We weren't there to oversee the packing and weren't totally sure what to expect. The crew finished packing up the PODS more thank two hours sooner than we anticipated (literally saving us hundreds of dollars). Our things were in storage for over a month and the PODS were just delivered and unloaded. I need to give credit where it's due. The PODS were packed SO well! Everything was wrapped and padded perfectly and nothing broke (even the fragile things that were barely unbroken when they were loaded). I am honestly so impressed. We have moved numerous times and this was our best experience with a moving company.

We visited occasionally to check on things and move things around and always found the units to be tight and secure. Barb worked with us when the move-out date was iffy so that we did not have to pay for another full month. She recommended two good movers, one of which we hired and they were terrific. (Mary's Touch). We would completely recommend Secure Self Storage.

Dan and his brother are scam artists. They also go by DE Moving Solutions movers. Do not use! If you are calling DE Moving Solutions as well be aware it's two brothers working together. They ask for deposit up front don't show up, or don't have a truck. Horrible experience with them. They threaten us for over a month. read more

Instead, he took half of the money for the move and decided to block her number and never help her move anything. As I started to unpack, I found a lamp shade at the bottom of a box, all crushed. Was quite amazed at what I found in the boxes.. I would assume like items would be packed together....but it appeared they just made sure the boxes were full. Many boxes not labeled, which would have been helpful. Never did get another phone call, which to me should have happened so they would find out how the team packs out a custome.

The second team, although I was told they were the same people, I knew that was not true. They were not friendly, not happy to be working so late although we said they could come back the next day to finish the "trim work." Teresa insisted they were the same guys and that was not accurate. A friend was there both times and also agreed it was not the same team. I felt that Teresa was not going to discuss it. It was almost as if she knew I was going to question her about the team. They were not as neat as the first team- big difference.

When I contacted them the owner Rob was up front with me and told me at least 10-12 weeks out. He kept his word on the timeline. On top of the original project he was hired for I ran into a mold problem just as they were to begin the bathroom remodel. He stepped up and fixed the problem and did the original remodel with no breaks in between. The crew that worked here(John and George) couldn't have been nicer and respectful of my home.
