They came the next morning and worked all day loading up furniture and boxes. They clearly knew what they were doing, their expertise was evident and very much appreciated. Moving Company. Asked for a walk through quote, said pictures were only needed. Quoted me for a 5 hour job with three to four professional movers and Joseph (owner) said he'd bring contract over the morning of move. Never did, I never signed anything and kept calling asking for him to bring the contract. Joseph called morning of and asked me to pay company debt off to U-Haul because they wouldn't rent him the truck bc of delinquent account and asked me to drive it. I said absolutely NOT. Said he had business insurance and lied. Also sent two non-qualified/non-professional movers (mom and son). Told them it was a quick job. The job took TWO days. And the employee (the mom) said what I paid was unacceptable but I never agreed to the $1600 she was asking for in cash. I agreed to the $750 in a check. Mother who worked job has been calling my cell and harrassing me. The owner Joseph wouldn't answer calls day of move or come to job site because of the many problems. I was in a time crunch so had to continue with job. It was a mess. This mother hired for service asked to take the truck back to her house because I think she was living in it and I said my possessions were not to leave my property. She said Joseph's address for company is fake and she couldn't locate because he lives/works out of his van in Lewes, DE. I called and text how furious I was and he cussed and fired her, who was taking it out on me. She said this happens all the time and she doesn't get paid for jobs. I told her if she continues to harass me I would call police. The boss lied to her and I about job size, employees on-site for job and amount. THIS IS NOT LEGIT. Now my personal cell was given to two employees who now constantly text and call..they were never professionals-not licensed/insured to move. PLEASE BEWARE! Although, the owner sounded really nice and helpful on the phone, I wasn't able to meet him in person. The night before our move, he cancelled stating that the truck that they were renting for my move was no longer available. Then asked if I had to actually move on the day I scheduled. And when I told him that I was moving on my scheduled day and that I would just have to figure things out- no use getting angry, what was done was done, right?, the owner asked if I was no longer using his company for my move. Can you hear my eyes rolling? I of course told him that if he wasn't available to move me then apparently I was not going to use his company. Really put me in a bind. read more

This company is fishy. Joseph asked to have the check payable to him personally. He never showed up, but a crew with a rented truck did. They didn't have adequate supplies, left drink containers in the house and yard. They took longer than a comparable move, but they did get everything moved without breaking anything. read more

Though I spoke to the owner, Joseph, several times, received a contract and several texts regarding my move , he did not show up for my move on moving day, saying the truck was still full from the night before. I never received a call or text, but had to continually contact him. They pushed the time back twice and In the end, they did not show up for our move and left us stranded. I would never ever recommend this company. The lack of communication and professionalism was appalling. read more

Master Movers just finished moving our furniture into our new home. My wife and I were extremely pleased with the thorough and efficient manner in which they completed the job. The workers (Kevin, Chuck, and Jen) were great. They worked hard and took no breaks even though they were paid hourly. Here's hoping we don't have to move again, but if we do, we know who to call. Joseph and his team at Master Movers did an awesome job moving us from one home to another in Frankford DE near Bethany Beach . Great communication, more reasonable than other movers , polite and flexible when I needed to change the move date. The crew was efficient, prompt and careful. We contacted Joseph at Master Movers to move an extremely heavy coffee table. He gave us a price over the phone and arranged to meet us at our house two days later. Although the job, basically was a small job, one which many others might not want to do, Joseph priced the job fairly and was hired. He arrived on time ( yes He SHOWED UP and ON TIME). The table probably weighed 300-350 pounds, and needed to go up one flight of steps. He and a partner took great pains to maneuver this awkward piece of furniture to its final location. It was not easy and probably not what they were expecting, however he did not complain nor did he infer the cost was too little. Great to find someone who stands by his estimate and does what is expected. This is one company we will definitely be using for all our moving needs. read more

This company was extremely unprofessional and made our move incredibly stressful. First they complained all day about "rushing" and "injuring themselves" because they felt rushed, I think I should mention we had already moved most of the boxes and furniture downstairs so all they had to do was load onto the truck. They damaged in multiple places a very expensive treadmill which their boss had told me they were capable of deconstructing/constructing but clearly were not comfortable. When I pointed out a tear on the cushion of the equipment one employee told me, clearly you do not use it as he had pointed out my being overweight several times. While irritated I did get into a heated conversation with the one mover and he called me several more names and when I asked for them to leave my house he refused and even threatened that he knew where I lived and not to forget that. I ended up having to call the police and have him told not to return. Which they did the next day to harass us again for money after dropping and damaging multiple pieces of furniture and cursing at us. When I notified the owner he insisted I pay them cash... as if I want to pay them at all. Then he even told me this worker has had multiple complaints in the past, yet you allow him to continue working. Now I have this angry, unstable man knowing where I live. Needless to say my move has been anything but easy and now I must deal with wondering if his creep employees will show up at my house again. read more
