A great kitschy local shop with good eats, souvenirs, snack and drink, fishing supplies and some cool stuff for the getting for those in need. The store is very near the DVC resort and also by the lifeguard station at Vero Beach. The folks were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our visit! read more

Very Convenient while spending time at the beach. They have a variety of everything!!

Opens at 6 but don't bother getting there before 7 at the earliest. The meth crew they employ are too hungover to get there on time and have things prepped for the day. Tourist keep them in business, not recommended for locals. read more

I got a smoothie and my friend also got a smoothie here and they tasted the exact same. They both tasted like orange juice even though we got completely different things and that was not what we wanted. This is our go to when ordering lunch when we are staying at Disney's Vero Beach. The prices are reasonable and the sandwiches are tasty. The owner is very friendly and from New Jersey. They also sell beer and other canned drinks in there. There is a walkway through the resort by the camp fire so you can access the restaurant quickly. We will be back our next trip! read more

Nice staff and decent taste but the price for what we got was a tad high. For $10.99 I expected more than iceberg. Chicken was seasoned well and the gyro was good, but the tomato's were too mushy and made the pita fall apart. I'd return to try breakfast. read more

I ordered the breaded chicken sub with lettuce and tomato. The chicken was bland and the sandwich was soggy. The convenience and location is the big draw for this place. It is easy to walk to and a good place for light snacks and drinks. Beware that if you pay by credit card, the screen defaults to 20% tip. I caught this just in time and changed it to no tip (the man behind the counter didn't seem pleased with this). I'm not sure why it defaults to a tip, and a 20% one at that, for a take-out place. Best sandwiches in the area. They are efficient and have a lot of selections. I personally recommend the Wabasso Shrimp Salad with no modifications. Hands down my favorite and a local favorite too. Whenever we are in the area it is our go to for a good quick lunch to go. I would like to try their breakfast menu next visit too. Great place located right on the beach. The food is simple enough, but is very convenient, especially if you would like a change (we stayed next door at the Disney Resort). My family and I was at our Disney vacation club home for spring break and came across this little gem of oasis. We were just planning on grabbing a few snacks for the beach and realized the ton of selections. We really enjoyed the wine selections they offered, and I ordered sandwiches for everyone. Me and my boyfriend used to go here every morning for there gyros during Covid cause we have a place in the area the gyros were always good my cousin once order there chicken tenders and they were not cooked we called them back and told them but they were very rude and did not care so now returning yesterday to Vero beach I had to make a stop there but I walked in with my family and sat down on the stool and the man at the register was just staring really hard at me and my family the whole time I was there I kept staring back at him I don't know he was staring upon paying and about to leave we tried to grab some condiments that were open to the public the man told us we were stealing we were confused to why he said we couldn't take it and that we were stealing any how one of the ladies in the kitchen apologized for his remarks and allegations and gave us a look like the guy always does that something was wrong with him idk if he was a racist or what but he was very rude I've always came here and never got told anything how ever I will never go back it's not worth it to be told your stealing for taking some ketchup or mayo or the mini creamers after you just paid for your food .... there gyros used to be 10.00 which is over priced but now it's 11.40 which is ever more over priced now read more

If I could give this a 0 stars I would. I tried to order through Uber Eats as I have heard great things about this place and wanted to try it. There was nowhere to add the shake with my sandwich so I added it in the notes as it said extras would be charged additionally. I then received a 2 minute voicemail stating I was "f-ing stupid, and was trying to get around not paying for a shake"... Not sure how the food is however the customer service is terrible. read more

Overdue review as I have been frequenting BB for several years. (Snowbird in the immediate area). Net / net, very good deli sandwiches, wraps and breakfast sandwiches & smoothies. Daily "hot plate" specials. Pretty much the only game in town but BB would do well in ANY community. Reasonable expense. Broad selection, EZ going on substitutions & additions, staff performs miracles during the mid-day rush. Parking and outdoor seating can be an issue mid-day, come before 11:30 or after 12:30 no problem. Plenty of room to sit, eat and watch the ocean at the immediately adjacent public beach. read more

I enjoy going to Wabasso Beach for several reasons. It's real pretty. Parking never seems to be a problem and you are out on the beach. There is a bathroom and outdoor shower. And to complete the picture is Beach Bites , which is a block away. So if you want a sandwich or a smoothie, or one of so many items they sell in this very convenient convenience store, it's there to be had. They do a very nice job with their food items. I had a pretty unpleasant experience here. I went in wearing a mask and no employees were wearing them. I tried speaking to the person behind the counter to order but the claimed they couldn't hear me, seemingly because I was wearing a mask. Then, said employee turned to their other one and said, "I'm going to scream" - unsure why. I guess I fumbled saying my order or because I was choosing to wear a mask and they "couldn't understand me" which is BS. Anyway, I ended up walking out. Super rude. A hot bed for COVID. read more

We were staying at the Disney Vero beach resort and heard how good this quick stop restaurant was. We walked down the beach and into the store to be greeted with a very angry looking man who could have been mistaken as Grumpy. But nope, he looked at the 4 of us with disgust as he angrily pulled the floor mats from our feet. All jokes aside this actually happened. The team seemed obviously annoyed by any questions we asked about their menu. They kept asking us over and over again if we were ready to order when we were still looking and deciding. Even the cashier gave attitude when we asked for change just to leave them a cash tip. Overall the food was ok but the service will not have me returning when I come back to the Beach Resort in Fall. read more

Well if you want to be safe from covid infection you'd better take this place off your list. While the sign on the door says to please wear masks or face covering, not one employee and most patrons were not wearing a mask. At least the ladies making the food had a plexiglass shield between them and the patrons, the person at the register where you need to get close did not. One of the great spots in the Vero Beach north area, right on the east end of CR510( Wabasso Road) that intersects with A1A....Fab menu, fab food, fab people working at the joint.....We walk the dog to Beach Bites at least three times a week and our puppy will not head home until we stop for water, soda, cookies and enjoy a 15 minute intermission enjoying the inevitable sea breeze while at the outside picnic tables.... read more

When you walk up to a place that looks like a bait shop (and it is) and leave with a quality sandwich and great service it' was such a great surprise.
