There we were today, driving south on 95 with no good idea where to stop and get a quick bite. Lucky for me, I had book marked this place sometime in the past year as decent spot based on a friends opinion. We exited off the highway and in no time we were at the place. It is co-located with "Skydive Sebastian" and the airport there. This added to the chill ambiance of the place as jumpers were coming and going and others were just hanging out messin around on their laptops. we went for a fairly basic lunch, beer and a bite. The beer was an american pilsner type, "Shiner" out of Texas. Solid refreshing beer and the sandwich was a ham and cheese on ciabatta bun. The sandwich was far better than I would have guessed it to be. And the hand cut thin fries were really great. Overall, if it wasn't for the many bugs flying about, (they said the rains had stirred them up), I mighta said it was a perfect stop in. Next time I'm in that part of 95 I think I will stop back. It's nice to drink a beer on the side of a small runway.

Always a good meal and awesome service. Super chill spot to hang and watch parachutes flying above.

Dog Friendly, People Friendly, BEAUTIFUL view of the airport facilities, outdoor seating, hammocks and plenty of sunshine. Also the ONLY place with real coffee for like 10 miles around Unfortunately we came on a day when bad weather was expected, so the cafe was not fully stocked, but the chef/owner made us WONDERFUL ham-cheese-egg sandwich for our party. I was happy that he explained this to us, up-front and honest to set our expectations. The food was very well done, fresh and tasty. We had a pleasant conversation with the staff and I hope to come back on a day when they have better weather and more food items in-stock. Our puppies had a great time running around the grassy areas and enjoying the warm ocean breeze. We will be back.

Sitting in Sebastian airport adjacent to the skydiving facility, the Zoo Bar does not at first glance look a place where are you would find high quality food and drink. But everything here is surprisingly good. They brew their own coffee and everything is made fresh. I had a blackened Mahi-mahi wrap with house made coleslaw and spinach, and it was delicious. You'll love the ambience. You have skydivers and pilots sitting around in a rustic setting. Sunshine, our server and cook, came over to our table to see how we enjoyed the meal and let us sample some of their cold brew varieties. You can imagine that the place looked pretty much the same as it would have 50 years ago. I like the Old Florida feeling any it evokes. The bar is located just west of Route one, at the airport in Sebastian. If you're going to be in the area it's definitely worth a visit

Zoo Bar is a great hidden treasure of the treasure coast in Sebastian!! It is a great pit stop for Italian coffee, wine, mimosas, beer and/or a bite to eat with out of town friends or locals :-P The atmosphere is casual, inviting, and the staff is always very welcoming and friendly. The best part is the Chef!!! He is always accommodating in making spur of the moment a la carte meals, and be sure that all and anything he whips up is to be DELICIOUS!!! I've been lucky to try: - Italian espresso - Pork pulled sandwich - Egg and asparagus sandwich with bacon on the side

This was an awesome find!! Extremely friendly place with outstanding food. Morgan (the owner / chef) makes some mean Mahi Sliders with homemade coleslaw & a Nitro Cold-brew Organic coffee. Thank you for a great food experience!! Will definitely be back!

As the morning dew settles and the sun rises over the Sebastian inlet. There is one place you can always trust to pour up the best café con leche in Indian ri ve r county. Chef shalev has done it again. The breakfast sandwich was delicate masterpiece in comparison to the sandwiches to have blessed my lips in the past. First the Multigrain baguette hits you pallette and sends fresh nuts exploding in your mouth as if they were picked and baked by the chef himself. The eggs, perfectly fluffy, delicate spinach leaves dancing on top and melted aged cheddar imported from his brother normans farm in Wisconsin paled in comparison to the robust and coma Inducing bacon that crunched with every bite. High recommend getting your dose of morning love and if your on for an exotic taste of jerusalem. Try jacobs special sauce. A secret family recipe of black cherry infused balsamic is sure to rock your morning and leave you begging for more

What a great place! Even if you don't skydive, this place on the airport is so good. Had an awesome smoked brisket sandwich with perfect fries. Love sitting there watching the skydivers come back down. Staff was super friendly to. The have a limited food menu, but everything is made when ordered. Draft beer too!

My boys love visiting the Zoo bar for the Papi Dog and an ice cream. They can't get enough of watching the skydivers "fly."

I was with a group and they went out of their way to ensure that we were all taken care of in record time. I have had pastry and that was excellent. **INITIAL REVIEW**…read more North Indian River County, specifically Sebastian and Fellsmere have a very limited kava community scene. As a matter of fact, I can boldly say as of the publication of this review, the only mainstream kava business this area has is in Riverview with an Island Root Kava, which happens to be the biggest kave organization in the United States at least. And though I have no issues with Island Root Kava, I prefer local mom n' pop kava bars, and fortunately for Sebastian, they have one, Valhalla Coffee & Kava (which I will shorthand simply to Valhalla for the remainder of this review). Yes, by its name, Valhalla is also a coffee shop, but they also serve tea - both traditional and kratom - food, and also a vape shop. Given how small Sebastian is compared to other communities/towns in Indian River County, Valhalla being a "one-and-all" stop for these specific genres of business seems to work tenfold for them. Valhalla is located in the heart of residential Sebastian, right between the businesses close to I-95 (just east of the interstate) and Riverview which is also Downtown Sebastian. They are the eastern-most business in a small multi-business building which consists of them and two or three other businesses including a church. You will also know it is the right place as there is a fountain in the center of a very little "courtyard." Valhalla is quite a small place compared to other kava bars I have been to. I can even daresay they are smaller than my home kava bar, Kalea Kava. It works for them though as they are more than just kava (and kratom). They have a wide selection of coffee and traditional teas, and food, especially breakfast. Starting with their menu, I had a fair share of what they have to offer. For kava, most of what they offer are company products in which they provide for sale, but their two in-house kava shots, Odin's Nectar and Ragnar's Reef, are highly-concentrated kava shots with a lot of flavor. Pertaining to the "norm" menu items, their iced coffee is good for what they offer and they have numerous options to enhance the flavor including different sugars and syrups. So nothing unique, but you can make a simple iced coffee to your preference easy-peasy. And lastly, their food options are simple fair primarily on sandwiches. I had their grilled cheese and quesadilla and they are delicous. Simply made and priced well. I actually had to leave because I kept eating grilled cheese after grilled cheese after grilled cheese. I am a grilled cheese fiend. Ultimately, the biggest reason for me to come here is the community. Unlike other kava communities, this one definitely shows more unity given the fact that Sebastian is definitely more right-leaning. Yet despite where you stand, everyone is kind and respectable to each other, kind of like how it was amongst people in the 90s before political correctness became the cudgel for destruction it is today. Because of its position in the community it is in, I am giving Valhalla a four-out-of-five star rating for this review. If you every stop by, tell Carlin I said hello. He's usually the tender there when I arrive on Friday nights. And if Valhalla remains consistent with their wares and service, I will definitely update this review, giving them their fifth star for consistency.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more Some of you know that I am often brought to historic downtowns and villages in hopes of "letterbox seeding" them. As I get close to concluding Historic Downtown Melbourne/Melbourne Main Street, I am moving both south to Sebastian Riverview Area and north to the Eau Gallie Art District. Today, I decided to further check out the Sebastian Riverview Area and it looks like I'll be getting more done here as I discover more "mom n' pop" shops. One of the restaurants in the area I've been to before is Cafe Latte da. Located on the northside of the Sebastian Riverview Area on the riverside of US-1 (across the street from The District), Cafe Latte da is a smallish shop ran by two women. It is a quaint coffee shop that looks like stepping into grandma's house, well, at least the view you'd think seen on classic television, especially on Lifetime. The women are very kind. Very friendly and admirable and I had such a nice conversation with them. As for the food, it was delicious for what they have. Definitely a place you want to support. Now for the overall criticism. As much as I like this place, I most stress critical points that may be a factor for other patrons. For starters, the two women seem to be the only ones running this place, so there is a layer of grime often associated with homes ran by older people. Each menu had a bit of stickiness to it. For me, not a problem. But I know it can be an issue for others. It is quite evident things need to be wiped down. You can especially see crumbs on certain displays. Next, the food menu is good, but can be limited given the limits they have. Take that as you may, but so far, everything they had served me was delicious which is the more important factor in my opinion. Ultimately, I am going to give an overall rating of three out of five stars. It is good to go here if you can be graceful on some things. But there are some, especially some of my friends who are germiphobes and get uppity if a restroom doesn't have a means to open the door without using your hands. Still, give these ladies and their coffee shop some love. They are pillars in expressing and progressing the community with all the local artists displaying their art, events, and activities they support. I truly hope someone can give them the assistance they need because this place is great, but I can sense there can be issues others might see, especially with certain priviledges we Americans have when it comes to eating out.,
