Pricing is fair; I wanted a few sessions for an upcoming event, and wasn't put off by the cost of paying for individual visits versus buying a package. No sales pressure. I chose stand-up tanning and never made an appointment, just popped in when I could. A booth was always available, each time I was warmly welcomed and they reminded me of protective eyewear and lotion. Fingerprint recognition used to sign in. Supplies are available for purchase if you forget them. The place is clean and well maintained, and the staff is well trained. Recommend, and will visit again the next time I need a tan refresh.

Within five minutes, she called me back with the name of a salon in California. They went above and beyond without knowing me. They were honest with me as to what the results would look like if I did it a week ahead of time, even if it meant losing the business. When I do decide to use a tanning salon in New York, this will be the only place I will be calling. This is old school customer service at its best!

They apologized for what happened and reiterated that this isn't how the store is run and they never turn away customers. They extended my package and gave me a couple extra tans for my inconvenience. I truly appreciate both of you reaching out and helping to alleviate my frustration. You went above and beyond! I've been using this location on and off for several years. I've honestly never had an issue here until today. I've used several diff beds and I've also been airbrushed tan here. However tonight was really off putting. I went in at 551pm and they refused to let me tan. For the record I've come in around closing before (on SEVERAL occasions) and have never been turned away. Either lock the front door if you're not going to allow customers before closing or have a explicit sign up stating what time the last tan is. If you close at 6, I expect to be able to tan before 6 unless noted elsewhere. I don't know the name of the girl that refused me, I just know I've never seen her face in there before. Honestly disappointed in Beach Bum because I typically get great service in here and usually really like the girls but this was enough to really turn me off and write this.

Surprisingly, they did. The lady on the phone asked for quite a bit of information and penciled me. When I arrived, I was greeted by a woman. She had a spunky sense of humor and was friendly and courteous. Her massage was really good, much better than some other ones I've had recently. I had a Swedish massage. She did a great job and it was well worth the price. They do charge tax, and of course, you should tip your masseuse. I would recommend this place. In the past I've had trouble booking a slot, so don't expect to walk in and get lucky like I did. Call well in advance to book an appointment and it will be worth it. I also noticed facial equipment and other services, so they offer more than just massages. Overall, a good place.
