Houston has done several tree trimming/clean up/removal jobs for us. He's been in the tree care business for years and has always shown up on time. He is responsive and a hard worker. On one of our properties we have a very tall Palm tree near our house and Houston is always careful about safely removing the palm fronds and seed pods so as not to injure himself or our home. I love trees. My trees have been a buffer to the traffic noise and pollution. I was really bummed when my neighbor asked if I could cut my eucalyptus tree since she was worried it was growing tall and creating a sappy mess. Like a good neighbor, I obliged. For two weeks, I called a lot of tree services and no one replied. I eventually found Houston who was pruning a tree in my neighborhood. He came on time. He followed all safety precautions and made minimal noise and no mess. He even discovered some animal possibly a racoon pooping on my roof. He made sure the animal could not climb up again and use my roof as a bathroom. He pruned my Cyprus trees in a way it would filter out the pollution. He pruned my bougainvillea tree to make sure it did not poke me or my cat in the eye. He made sure he pruned my trees into a lovely natural canopy so I could have shade. Houston and his assistant accepted all my kooky requests of wanting the tree trunk for a future art carving project, keeping some eucalyptus leaves for medicinal purposes and making sure my trees have good coverage for optimal forest bathing. Houston is a gem! I'm so glad to have him as my tree cutter/trimmer/advisor. read more
