I picked Sals because of the great Yelp reviews and our garden has gone downhill until it is the worst it has ever been. I've asked that they weed a number of times but we are covered in weeds throughout front and back garden. They don't turn up, as evidence by how high the weeds are and how long the grass is. I timed their last visit to 8 minutes. We are very disappointed with our experience and will be looking for another gardener who fulfills what they promise, turns up and actually looks after the garden as promised. Nick and his crew were amazing! They arrived on time and did a great job planting and installing additional drip irrigation. Nick texted me when he was close by to let me know he was on the way. Following the installation Nick asked to double check the irrigation his crew installed worked and found that one of my zones was broken. I wouldn't have ever found out until all the plants died if he didn't spend time double checking his work! He was able to fix the problem in minimal time and for a reasonable cost. If I could give more stars I would. I've been trying to do some gardening maintenance by myself but with working overtime and the extra rain...the weeds kicked my ass. Some of these weeds had bases that were over an inch thick and obliterated my puny weed whacker. I emailed Sals via yelp and Nick answered and was able to stop by my moms house that evening and he assessed what we wanted done and sent me a quote that night and I was really happy with his prices. Thankfully he had an opening the next day and due to the job (weed whacking, 2 trees, 3 stumps, 1 tree prune and 4 pine removal) he brought his crew of 3 trucks and 6 people to knock out the job. Amazingly they were done under 2 hours! Great crew and happy to support a family business. I'll definitely call them again for maintenance and I already have another job planned for Italian cypress removal too. Great overall experience using Sal's Gardening Services to trim our fence hedges . We contacted the company on Saturday afternoon and Nick was able to stop by a couple hours later for an estimate. Nick was very pleasant and represented his family owned business well.  The estimate was fair and we set up the appointment for Monday. The team of workers, including the company owners, showed up on time and did an amazing job. I asked them to trim part of the hedges a little more and they were happy to do it. Made an appointment for a Saturday at 8am. Saturday 8am rolls by... No sign of gardeners. Text Nick if he or his dad was coming.. He responds that his Dad is coming with a crew but they need to pick up a machine... They arrive by 840. Work is done. OK A day later, I noticed that one of my requests to trim a hedge dropping leaves on my yard wasn't trimmed enough. I text Nick and ask if it's ok to get it trimmed again.
