We recently bought a professional shave ice maker off of craigslist (just for personal use, we REALLY like shave ice). We quickly realized that pouring fruit juice isn't awesome because as the ice melt, it dilutes the juice and so we were on the hunt for concentrated syrup. I googled and bam, ran into beach cities wholesalers, which was so exciting since they're local in SoCal and they're open to the public. Delivery has a $300 minimum but getting to their spot isn't too difficult (street parking, be careful since lots of trucks), website has what they have in stock and if you want other items call and let them know around a week in advance. I have had great experiences with BCW. The owner Tom, is extremely helpful and goes above and beyond the call of customer service. The service guys are extremely nice and helpful as well. Have always received great communication and if there was ever an issue, Tom and his crew made sure that it was taken care of promply. Payment was easy as well. Great service! When we decided to get into the party rental side of our business we went down to Beach Cities wholesalers to get an idea of what we would be looking at cost wise and what machines we would be interested in purchasing. They were very helpful and patient with us as we had a TON of questions. They answered all of our questions and provided recommendations. We purchased our cotton candy, sno-kone and popcorn machines from them during on of the Gold Medal sales. Since then, we have purchased most our concession supplies from them. They've even been helpful in allowing us to take samples of items we are on the fence about adding to our inventory. Would definitely recommend! read more

This company is fully incompetent. After difficulties trying to get them paid and a lot of harassment for it, a representative there provided me the wrong account number for a wire transfer. This proceeded to cause them to treat us with indignity and downright poor customer service. We proved that the wire transfer was done but to the the wrong account (the one they provided) let they continued with threats and misconduct. If you do work with them, pay them in cash, or it will be a nightmare. Otherwise they charge an hour rate as a flat amount. This means if you have two machines that each require 10 mins of work they will charge you for two hours. read more
