Chris even came over after hours to check us in and even helped us back into our spot (we're newbies)! They have a restroom, shower, and complimentary laundry facility while you stay. The park is walking distance to the beach - a huge bonus. They have a covered area to hang out in, and there has been a few small gatherings with music from other campers to end a great beach day. Everyone is respectful of quiet hours and each others belongings. We couldn't imagine our beach vacation anywhere else!

It's a quiet, clean park with only 16 lots. It's gated and has security cameras and laundry facilities. The lots are huge compared to all the others I've seen. You are spaced perfectly from your neighbor (not 5 steps away), in a fenced yard, with a storage shed and picnic table. They offer all bills paid, which includes; water, sewer, cable, wifi, yard maintenance, and ELECTRIC! Has hook-ups for 30 and 50 amp. I love it here! Hence, the 2 yr tenant

Sites are concrete with a picnic table. We wanted to stay hooked up to our 5th wheel and we were able to get a long pull-thru. Their WiFi worked great. Not too thrilled with the dog walk and they don't allow dogs by the pond. The dog walk was mostly overgrown, with a narrow strip mowed to walk your dog. We're used to more of a dog area where they can run around. Also, only have one set of bathrooms all the way at the office. That was really annoying, because we stayed hooked up and weren't able to use those at all. We thought we could stay on the way back, but we'll probably look for something else.

There is a huge dock to fish on or just hangout. The fishing is awesome and we usually catch several daily. The park has aluminum boats free for residents use. WiFi is free as well. The owners, manager, and all tenants are very friendly and helpful. We evacuated for Tropical Storm Imelda and they helped us every step of the way. This truly is an absolute slice of paradise. Just minutes from all local refineries including Sabine Pass. Public dove hunting lands less than 2 miles, hog hunting, and duck hunting. There is a golf course less than 5 miles from the park.

They have a nice laundry facility, game room, showers and restrooms. They had conveniently placed trash receptacles that were emptied in a timely matter daily. I like that we were just minutes from the activity on the island, yet we felt we were away from it all.....peaceful. There is an upper deck with lots of seating to enjoy the sunrise or sunset. We plan to go back again next year....

The access to the park is…read morethrough a gate which is nice for security, but challenging to walk out of the park instead of driving. While we were there, the adjacent property had construction equipment running all day, and they were tearing down trees along the water's edge outside the park fence and leveling the ground. Our site was on the East side backed up to the property under construction. The noise didn't bother us too much as it was mostly during the day. I walked my leashed pup around the park a few times a day. They had pet clean up stations around the park to pick up after your pet. There was a pavilion with BBQ grill that you could use, as well as a playground for the kids. They also had a pool up by the office inside a gated area with rules posted. It was a good stop on our trip and I may return again if I'm in the area.

The owner is out and about in the park frequently, and he's always willing to chat with everyone, take suggestions, hear what people think, etc. He's very friendly, and the whole place just has a friendly, welcoming vibe. It's very safe, in a great location - removed enough from the city to be peaceful but Walmart and restaurants are a quick drive down the road. Laundry facilities and showers are well maintained, always very clean. Definitely five stars for this park!
