Right after that, he tells my friends they need to stick with the $5 bets they started with and can't increase them. Funny how the rules suddenly change when people start winning. I've been to plenty of casinos and have never experienced anything this shady. It felt like the staff were making up rules on the spot to protect the house rather than running a fair game. If players can't increase their bets when they're winning, but the casino is happy to take larger bets when people are losing, that's a huge red flag. The entire situation left a bad taste in my mouth. Between the conveniently timed shuffle and the selective enforcement of betting rules, it felt incredibly unprofessional and sketchy. There are plenty of casinos out there that treat customers fairly and don't make them feel like they're being targeted for winning. I won't be back, and I wouldn't recommend anyone give this place their money.

It's a good-size pool, not huge, but just great for a leisurely swim. The rooms are very clean and very spacious. There is plenty of storage. The coffee maker was simple enough to operate. TIP: you need both remotes in order to use the TV. The front desk will help you. It's a block from the beach, which is perfect. It's close enough to walk to where the action is, and far enough so that it's nice and quiet at night. The rates are reasonable, and I would not hesitate to stay here again. BUYER BEWARE-READ BEFORE BOOKING and learn from our experience:…read moreI'm not gonna sit here and write to not stay at this motel - the room itself was just as advertised, clean, roomy and comfortable, updated bathroom (shower wasn't cleaned well, but that's minor in comparison to the rest of our experience) BUT- do not expect to have any assistance after their lobby closes. They advertise an "after hours number" they DO NOT answer. We stayed here for one night and went out on the strip until around 10pm and when we returned we realized we forgot our key in the room. We went to the front desk which was locked and dark. To preface this I completely understand it's on us for forgetting a key. But, no answer on any of the 3 phone lines provided and one was specifically for "guests only, after hours" after a couple hours, MANY calls and voicemails later, we decided to call the non emergent police line which we were told they were unable to help without permission from the owner - they also tried calling the number they had with no answer either and we were advised to either sleep in our car or book another hotel. We called all 4 businesses they have shown on their building assuming they're owned by the same people, no one was able to help there either. We ended up able to unlock our vehicle from our phone and sleep in it (we had no actual keys as they were locked in the room too) we continued to call the after hours line throughout the night and into the morning but we ended up locked out of our room from 10:30pm to 8am when the front desk opened. The front desk manager (I'm blanking on her name) was lovely, super friendly and apologetic but explained someone else named "dalton" was responsible for the after hours phone and clearly completely neglected to answer. She refunded the cost of our room which was great and gave us a couple gift cards to local restaurants ($35 worth), but really it didn't take away the fact that we had the worst experience in a hotel ever, we would've much preferred to just be able to sleep in the room. Again, decent motel, absolutely awful customer service, if you stay please triple check you have your keys when leaving/you have everything you need before they close.

Aside from the selection of games- some don't work, some eat your quarters, some don't pay you tickets, some are out of tickets and there's seemingly nobody around but it is what it is.
