Unfortunately, our personalities were like oil and water - he responded with snarky answers that got under our skin. That aside, they took their time, even cleaning under the hoods. I called them very last minute to do a detail on our SUV. We were from out of town visiting. I haven't had a chance to get the car detailed and we just don't have time when we are at home. I thought this would be a good option to have it done while it was parked at rhe hotel. Unfortunately, for us the hotel had turned the water off so you'll want to confirm that because he needs access to water. However, the hotel was certainly willing to provide it before they realized it was off. He still did a full interior detail and it was 100% worth it. Very prompt and responsive. read more

I had Beach Detailing, detail my 2013 Nissan Frontier truck, because i was thing about selling it. The truck is 11 yrs old and never had been professionally cleaned and detailed. In the world of auto detailing, from my experience as a consumer, you basically have the following choices when you shop: good, quick, cheap. Pick two. So when we saw one of the Beach Detailing vans on 142nd St last Friday with the phone number prominently displayed, I figured it was worth a phone call. The owner assigned one of his crew, Tyler, who reached out to me immediately and arrived on time to the minute Sunday (two days later). So...QUICK Six plus hours later Tyler finished up the second vehicle. I had mentioned to him -- very good dude -- that we had issues with a prior detail from elsewhere ignoring the compartment between the seats. So just to double check he went back through both vehicles to give it that extra white glove touch. Though I had my doubts, the vehicle was showroom floor ready end to end. All I need to say. So...really GOOD Okay now here it comes, I'm thinking. They had advertised on their site a rate of $150-$175 per vehicle. So I was waiting for the surcharges, SUV fee, whatever else folks tend to tack on lately. Plus, I only get to pick two (and we had QUICK and GOOD). My bill for two mid sized SUV's? $300. Total. I threw a modest few bucks extra as tip but I had gotten much more out of the ATM just in case. So, also....CHEAP!!! What amazes me --and disappoints me at the same time -- is that I didn't discover these folks sooner. They have been around this area as well as local docks 15+ years!!! Fortunately, NOT too good to be true. Wanted to keep to myself but from what I saw they are plenty big and agile to grow as you expect they will -- once word gets out -- but not lose that small business energy and customer service. horrible service. Poor detail work. Ruined my windshield and side windows in my very expensive truck.. broke my door handle on my jag. Stripped paint off my wife's mini. None of which he covered and or replaced and or fixed. I had the windows replaced. I had the door handle repaired. I had the paint damaged repaired because he wouldn't. These were things he damaged and I paid to have fixed plus the fee he collected on his poorly done detailing. read more
