Do not take your car to this place.. I own a 2013 Audi A4 and had my wife take it to get an oil change , and then 2 days later my engine oil light comes on .. I look under my my hood and cover where you can see sparkinnplugs, core, and engine head to find oil all over ..wife called and manager came toy nhouse 20 miles away to tell me he see nothing ... I would give zero stars if possible. I've stopped by here a couple times before seeking service and had always found the interaction with the employees lacking basic professionalism. However, today just took the cake. I called a day prior to showing up to make an appointment, but was told no appointment was needed "first-come first-served." I was okay with that, so I asked just to make sure that they had the filter for my car. After some time the technician said yes. So the next morning I show up, the person says, they don't have the oil for my car. I'm droving a VW. How can you not have oil, when your business model is based on doing oil changes? I'm not driving an exotic car. What a wasted morning. I guess you need to check that they carry oil & filters for your car before you bother driving to this location. I arrive and told it be 40 mins to 1 hour it took actually 50 minutes for two cars in front of me. We got in our car this morning and had a "0% oil" warning. Being three hours away from home we weren't quite sure where to get oil for our car. We looked up the nearest Jiffy Lube which is in West Ocean City and they were so kind. The guy told us it would take about 30 minutes to get our oil change, which was completely accurate and done in a timely manner. The this is my second time here and plan to make it my place to go. It's about $80 for full synthetic oil which is fine to me. The elder man working out their is so friendly and cute haha, he told me the oil change should be done in 30 mins and offered me to just walk around the plaza and what not. I would caution you seriously against using this facility. I went for a synthetic oil change. I was having zero problems with car prior to change. The day after, my engine is misfiring. They are insisting the oil change had nothing to do with this problem. The mechanic indicated that it definitely could be related. I called before going to see if they had the oil and ability to change the oil on my Audi....answer, yes. The man that signed me in was a delight. The fellow behind the counter, not so much... I've never been a fan of Jeffy Lube, as I have always changed my own oil. Of course I usually do this at my brother's place in Montgomery County where he has a spot to accomplish this, unlike my condo garage. So, since my oil change was overdue and I hadn't been to my brother's in awhile, I ended up facing my worse fear... having my oil changed at Jiffy Lube over a weekend trip to the beach. They were polite and competent. Oil was changed quickly and other fluids checked and added to if necessary. They tell you exactly what they did or didn't do when you pick up your car. Jiffy Lube was good, but I do plan to change my own next time. But in a pinch, I'd take it back to the Jiffy Lube in OC. read more

I've heard horror stories about Jiffy Lube, but never had a bad experience with them myself until today. I think (really hope) the oil change was OK, but the usual "jiffy" customer service just wasn't happening at this location (Ocean City, MD). I've been to this one and others on Maryland's Eastern Shore in the past and always been very impressed with the professionalism and courtesy of the folks working inside. This one was out of my oil weight and tried (successfully) to sell me on using a different weight and, as you can see in the picture, this all happened after considerable wait time. The convenience factor of Jiffy Lube is the only thing that makes me risk going there. One friend of mine had to get a new engine thanks to a Jiffy Lube mistake! My horrific Jiffy Lube West OC experience today Request oil change. Arrive home and needed to check something under hood. No fluids topped off and In fact other than the oil change nothing was done. I promptly returned and requested problem be rectified. The owner/VP stated he did not have time for this today "I'm very busy let me get your number and I'll call you back about this" There was 1 car ahead of me. I requested he look under my hood and he then filled the windshield washer fluid stating "when we put it in it bubbles and we don't have time to wait for it to go down so it won't be completely filled ever" ?,,, After discussion he walked away stating again he would call me. I was not pleased. I went in the store and asked to speak with him again. There were customers in there and I told them to check their service as the same could happen to them that's when the owner came in.... at the end of me telling the other customers this. He proceeded to state the following things not in any particular order and agreed to give me a refund all the while slandering me and women in general. At this point I had to defend myself and again stated that I just wanted what I paid for to be done and since he wasn't going to do it today I wanted a refund. That's when he told me to get out of his store and threw my receipt at me. In the midst of this fiasco he stated.... This Jiffy Lube has the best car wash facilities in town! All of the equipment such as; vacuums, change machines, self-wash bays, and drive-thru wash all work wonderfully. I'm not sure why my truck is so much cleaner when I leave their drive-thru wash, but it sparkles and shines beautifully when I wash it at this Jiffy Lube. I drive a lot and also live on a dirt road, so I wash my truck about 3 times a week. I've been to many different car washes in MD, VA and DE. This is still the very best one! Now, if you need to make change from a $20 bill and you are forced to ask the lady at the counter, best of luck to you. She is rude and gets really upset when she has to get up off that stool. My advice is make sure you have 2 $10's. The oil change crew is fast, reliable and easy to work with. They don't try to harrass you too much about buying extra things that you may or may not need. read more

I was visiting from out of town and needed an oil change. I heard all the bad things about Jiffy Lube but why not give it a try? I had only 2 choices Walmart or Jiffy Lube.. So I tried it out! The customer service was great they described to me in detail the brand of oil I wanted and filter they checked everything, including battery and tire pressure, topped off all my fluids, and vacuumed out my car. I didn't have any issues with them at all, the only reason I didn't give the full 5 stars is because I feel the price for the Synthetic oil change at $77 is a bit pricey. I usually get it done at the dealership I purchased the car and it's only $52 for synthetic and they also detail the car and rotate the tires on top of the other services. Either way if I was back in OC and needed an oil change I would go there. read more

Both of my brake lights stopped working simultaneously while I was on vacation quite far from home. JR, the owner/operator, went above and beyond to identify the problem (which was a blown fuse) so that I didn't have to drive 150 miles without them. He even replaced my brake lights for me, which were somehow fused in the socket. JR was knowledgeable and more than kind. Wow I live in the area now, but I still go back home to visit and when I do I take my car to my local mechanic that we trust. Anyways this past week when I was getting my car worked on where I'm from, I was startled to be told that Jiffy Lube didn't change my filter when I had got a oil change about a month ago...wow. Went for an oil change and made the dumb mistake of not asking the cost before hand. I had been to jiffy lube in Salisbury a year earlier and paid about $50 for my oil change. They tried to up sell me on light bulbs and filters before I left them the keys and I had them change a plate light that had been out. When I came to pick up my truck which is a big 5.7L V8 the total with the lightbulb was 115 dollars. It takes 45 dollars worth of oil retail and the light bulb was a 3 dollar bulb. I argued with them for a little bit but was in a hurry and wasn't getting anywhere so I just paid and left. Went back to talk to the manager when I had more time and he was not willing to do anything me.
