I was traveling from North Carolina to CT when I had an issue with my diesel truck. Not being familar with the area, I called a number of diesel repair services and all I got was answering machines as it was after normal business hours. When I called Beach Diesel Repair, one of the owners answered the phone and told me that he would be there when I had it towed in and that they could work on it tomorrow am. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!!!!! We took our dump truck to Beach Diesel for a coolant line leak, then other things needed to be done according to them, they had to chase parts constantly and had the truck much longer than they said. They are EXTREMELY rude and treat customers like #@$%. We pick up the vehicle at 6:00 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday morning it broke down and had to pay $500 for a tow after we just paid $1800 for the repair at Beach Diesel. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! GOT RIPPED OFF HERE.. Brought my camper that I just bought here and had to get it towed. I spoke to the guy over the phone and he told me it would take a couple of hours to fix. I told him ok I didn't have the money at the moment to pick up and if possible could I pick up by the next week. He specifically said ok they won't charge me for the whole week. He billed me for 794 but then the week after I get a phone call saying they were billing me for the week as well. Total was gonna come out to 1k something. I told the woman what the guy had told me and she said she was gonna speak to him. Apparently they are never on the same page or they do this often to rip people off. I'm still mad I paid 800. For nothing they even fixed!! I went to pick up my camper from them and turns out I couldn't even drive it out because it died as soon as I tried to drive it off the lot. Luckily had my brother and his friends with me that notice there was no belt in the alternator and the both batteries need to be replaced. So I feel like I paid 800 for nothing. Worst possible place I could of brought my truck in for repairs. This husband and wife team are nothing but crooks, very!!! very!!! poor workmanship and super!! super!!! Slow. My truck has been down there a total of 8 months I only got my truck back for a couple weeks had to return it because of bad leakage from the brakes and the radiator lots of loose nuts and bolts. Took my truck here for three wheel seals which I supplied and a brake chamber, and a pressure switch which I supplied just charge 1650. Took the truck on the road one of the wheel seals are leaking that was replacecall them would not talk to me tell me how to call back. Needed emergency roadside assistance after our tow vehicle's trailer breaks stopped working when towing our camper. After waiting for hours for someone to show up and spending over $500 over only 2 hours, nothing was fixed and we didn't even have a diagnose of the issue except to say "there's an issue with your tow vehicle". We called a couple days later to let the company know our disappointment and no resolution was offered. Overall a very disappointing experience and we feel like we were taken advantage of. We had a terrible experience with Beach Bus diesel. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there. They quoted $2300-2400 for a coolant leak and when we picked up the bus the bill was $3900! Tried to talk civil about why so much higher than quoted l, but he got belligerent. That wasn't all. Before we got 5 miles away the bus had lost turbo power so when we opened up the engine we saw the turbo had been duct taped instead of being clamped and the coolant leak we had taken it in for was still leaking. They said they tested and drove it but new reputable mechanic said the leak hadn't been fixed and it had been going on for awhile. What a rip off!!! read more

They are scammers, I requested a repair service, at first they were very friendly, they told me that they would be there without fail at 8 in the morning the next day, at 8 am they charged me 470 dollars to my card and the technician had not arrived, I wrote and called them saying that they had loaded the card without the technician having arrived, they told me that I was on my way, at 10 am they send me a text message with conditions of service that they had never mentioned, even so I replied that There was no problem but nothing that the technician arrived, finally the technician did not arrive and they told me that I had given the wrong address, I continued being patient and I told them that I could wait until the next day, they send me a message saying that perfect that the technician would be there at 9 am and that they would charge an extra charge for tolls, the next day the technician never appeared, and when I called they told me that they had not sent it because I had not confirmed the payment of the toll ; Imagine, they had charged me 477 dollars in advance and they did not send the technician because supposedly I did not confirm that he would recognize the 20 dollars of the toll, result of the operation, the technician never arrived, they charged me 477 dollars for something they never did, and then they claimed that The conditions of the contract were those, conditions that they sent after loading the card, and all this is demonstrable by the hours of transactions and messages ... they are scammers. read more

I received mobile service for my RV in San Antonio. The brake light was on. They make you pay up front for 3hrs at $125hr ($397 after tax) which includes diagnostic + 2hrs of repair service. The country boy with a twang who answers the phone is only nice BEFORE they've taken your money. Diagnostic took an hour on a Saturday, and I was told by the tech that he could not order the part until Monday. It would be coming from Fort Worth area, and would either arrive by Monday evening or Tues. By Monday I got a text from the country boy saying that the master cylinder was ordered. It would take 7-10 days to arrive, and the cost was $581. I asked for the part number and model via text, so I could call around. Apparently, he was offended by this. He refused to give me the information, and told me to look it up on my registration which made no sense. Historically, I've had a difficult time finding the right parts for my RV. Even finding a windshield wiper was a pain in the butt, so his refusal to give me the part number was a huge stressor, and made him look suspicious. I already paid them, so I tried to be as nice as possible when I called to ask for the part number again. The boy's ego was on fire. He ranted like a queen taking steroids, and estrogen at the same time, and refused to listen to a word I tried to speak. He repeated himself multiple times, verbally attacked me, was loud, said I can only get that part from 2 places in the country, and yelled, "I don't deal with f@$#ing Karen's." The misuse of this term by manipulative, controlling colonizer descendants is pathetic. He hung up on me 3x. I was so worried, because I don't have this type of money to waste, and I'm a single mother currently traveling full-time. My nerves were shot. My hands were shaking, and I was crying off and on for two days feeling anxious, and vulnerable. His behavior was so unstable I set up an intake with my attorney just in case I needed back up. Then I called a Chevy dealer to try, and investigate for myself what the part number was even though I paid Beach Diesel for this information. Thankfully, it wasn't as hard as anticipated. Chevy said the part cost $358, but it's discontinued, and advised me to call Napa. The Napa 1/2 mile down the street quoted me $87 for a brand new master cylinder! Clearly, this is the reason why the country boy was such a telephone bully! I text him, told him I found the part for $87, and he replied with, "Great! Call us when you have the part in hand." I picked it up Tues morning, text him again, and the same tech, Tristan, was dispatched. Thankfully, I didn't have anymore problems, and the job was done. It took him a little less than 3hrs. I already paid for two service hours, but he tried to charge me an additional two hrs + brake fluid. I asserted that I only owed for one additional hour max. He didn't argue. I paid, but I felt they owed me money at this point for the mental health days I had to take due to the abuse I received. Tristan's work was good. He got the job done, he was thorough at explaining the process. However, I would not recommend this company to anyone due to the extreme, uncalled for disrespect that the country boy feels entitled to dish out to customers after they take your money, and attempt to rob you on the cost of parts. I would not deem this company trustworthy. Tristan, if this guy is your business partner you need to hold him accountable, because he's a bad reflection on the business, and he makes you equally at fault by association.
