Stopped by here for a quick solo pregame before heading out to a coworker birthday. Sat right at the bar and tended to immediately. The bartender was friendly and came with my beer fast. She asked if I was fine often and tended to the entire bar which had many people. I came here on a Friday night and it was very lively. I was driving around the area for a while looking for a bar to post up for almost thirty minutes. I am happy that I found this place and decided to come. read more

Was looking for a place to shoot some billiards and dropped in on a Thursday night. Both the staff AND guests were so welcoming and friendly! We ended up staying all night and had the best time! The sound system was great and you can select songs with their jutebox app. There are 3 small billiard tables, $1 per game or $10 per hour. They have a fully stocked bar and electronic dart boards. Bathrooms were clean and there was ample parking. Definitely will be back! read more

Use to love this place when I was a regular for Stumble in and what ever it was before. At the end and once they sold. The pool and dart league regulars acted like they owned the bar. The bartenders were their friends and let them start shit with customers and run it like their own personal club. Stopped coming here after that. Was a cool little quiet dive bar. read more

Nice enough spot. Lots of room although they do try and pack a couple of tables into the corners despite the huge amount of room by the dart boards. Tables are 7 footers and diamond so nice enough. Cloth is in pretty good condition. Drink selection is about average as is pricing although the first drink I got seemed a bit watered down. People are gregarious and not shy. Keep your expectations in check as it is sort of a dive bar but, as they go, a pretty good one. read more

Came here with my husband to play some pool and have beer. Bartender was nice, beer was a little overpriced. The issue was the bathroom....The second time I went to use the WOMENS bathroom, it was occupied by one the workers (chris) a MAN in the ladies room. He came out saw me waiting and said "oh, let me get some spray"....seriously, what is wrong with the men's room. There is a stall and a urinal which we're working fine, my husband was In there twice, no problems. When I told my husband we called to complain and Chris answered the phone, he didn't seem to care, he said the men's room was out of order. Well I call BULLSHIT!! He was rude and didn't really care, he said he would tell the owner, but I call bullshit on that also. Chris is an asshole, who should be fired. Your a MAN stay out of the women's bathroom fool. Never will I go here again, shitty hole on the wall bar!! read more

Yelp reads open till 2, big sign outside reads open till 2a, walk in at 11:57 and get "sorry we're closed". A few people are still inside as I'm writing this and a big neon "open" is lit up. Wanted to run a few racks of pool, oh well. Not sure what's going on with this place, I'm guessing the bartender guy wanted to go home early on a slow night. Some guy walked in right after me and he's still inside not sure if he works there. Super odd and unprofessional. read more

I've been looking for inexpensive simple street tacos, so I came in for Taco Tuesday. It appears that The Boardroom has partnered with a local company to make the tacos. $2 each and I ate 9 of them, they were pretty phenomenal. The tacos were found out in the back and cash only but there is an ATM inside the bar. The bar is going through some renovations and upgrades, but still has a very laid back atmosphere. Certainly an improvement. Very nice for unwinding after a long day of work on a Tuesday afternoon. $5 PBR tall cans for Tuesday's happy hour. Bartenders were pleasant and provided booze when requested... doesn't get better than that. Look forward for the remodel progress they make here and will definitely be back. As a side note - the pool table we were using jammed here and there. The owner was aware of this issue and quite attentive. When it happened, I didn't have to go look for someone to help us. She explained that she knew of the problem and it's being worked on as part of the renovation. She was nice, cleared it for us and apologized. Being thanked for our patience is rather rare nowadays and actually improved my night rather than hindered it. read more

Months ago I found out this local bar now has full alcohol. Came in to check it out and it's become my new cheers. All the bartenders are amazing. Catlyn is so good I seek her out. (Not creepy) lol. I walked in and went to the bar and the bartender came straight to me. I was so shocked cuz she was the only one handling the full bar! Impressed! I only needed to use the ATM and was so intimidated to all the men in here so I will have to come back with more girl friends next time. Just started to come here again since the new owners got the joint. Its much different/better. The girls are all sweet. Lacy is the bestest. I come see her bc she makes me and everyone else there smile and forget that they were having a bad day, not to mention she makes crazy creations like jalapeno pineapple margaritas from scratch. The Boardroom is the business next door to mine, I never used to go in there but now I try to swing by daily. The place is so much cleaner than the old Ed's Stumble Inn. Heather has really done a nice job cleaning and upgrading the bar. The staff are really friendly and the leagues she's bringing in are making this the place to be. If you haven't tried out the Boardroom, you're missing out. oh yeah the hot dogs are great! read more

The Boardroom is a great up and coming Dive Bar in Fountain Valley. Heather, the owner, has really brought this place from a local dump to a nice, remodeled bar that's nice to hang out at. With all the televisions to watch sports, the selection in beer, wine and cocktails, what more could you ask for? Then there's the nice bartenders. They're all very friendly but Nicole really stands out. She's been there since they opened last year and knows the customers very well. I will continue to be a fan of this bar for the atmosphere and friendly service. Thank you Heather!! I would also like to compliment Carin. There's bar seating and high top tables if you're not in a rented stall. You can rent stalls for varying times. Each rental comes with a bag that includes a baseball, dodgeball (soft foam), football, and soccer ball. I believe you also get one golf club and a golf ball if you want, but if you're there to play golf, bring your own clubs or rent a full set. There are tons of other games to play such as baseball pitching, football precision passing and field goals, soccer penalty kicks, carnival games, darts, and even bocce ball. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that our kids may have tripped the sensors, but I felt everything was wildly inaccurate. I'd physically hit the targets (ball straight to marker on the screen) and then the game would say I missed by a mile! Frustrating for me, but since my kids are too young to care, they had a blast! Food-wise, we were influenced to go because we got a coupon in the mail for a free cheese pizza with an hour or more rental. We also got ranch chicken bacon sliders (comes with 3), some tots, and 2 beers. All tasted great, but not the biggest servings. The 1-hr rental, food, and drink ran us right around $110 including tax and tip as of Apr 2026, but would've been closer to $125 without the coupon.

The room had a small iPad to preload songs into the queue, but not everything we wanted was available. There was a YouTube option, but when we used it, no lyrics would show on the screen. On the plus side, the room felt clean, and they even had a cute birthday banner already set up, which was a nice touch! I do wish there had been at least a small trash can inside, though--we had no idea where to put our trash. When the night was over and we went to pay, the total was almost $500! I couldn't believe it. According to their site, for 12 people it's $126/hour plus $2 per person for bringing in your own food and drinks. I totally get the BYOB fee--it's fair--but wow, that total still felt steep. They also charged $7 for 5 disposable cups, which was a bit much. So we decided to ask our other friend to bring cups! I still had a good time and it was fun because of the company I was with, but for the price, I've been to other karaoke spots (like one in Westminster) with bigger rooms, friendlier staff, and more value for the money. Here, I felt like the staff barely acknowledged us when we arrived or left. Not a bad night, but probably not my first choice next time.

I haven't been in The Boardroom for a few months, went in yesterday afternoon with friends. I was immediately served by the bartender,Lacy. Lacy remembered me and was so fun that I have to say I felt like I was part of her bar family. My friends and I stayed for a while to play pool and have great time! Heather did the neighborhood good by replacing Ed's Stumble Inn with the Boardroom (like a surfboard). It's not that she upgraded the bar with a new juke box, new TVs, dart boards and pool tables but she hired some classy ladies to poor beer and wine. People of all ages go there and the HB police won't follow you home because the Boardroom is in Fountain Valley. Cheers to her! read more

I've walked in and then walked right back out when she's working there - on more than one occasion- because she doesn't put customers first. And for whatever reason, the owner worships this clown.
