And the IQF sardines are $55 for a #40 pound box, very reasonable. And I prefer to chum with dead bait over live because it lays down a perfect trail and won't swim away... They only take cash or checks. Try to have exact change when picking up ice/ bait in the mornings before a trip. They are open until 5pm and it's always easier to load up the afternoon before a trip if possible. And they ice doesn't melt anyways.

Had one of their giant warm soft pretzels ($13.50) while we waited for our pizza. Served with beer cheese and grain mustard for dipping...excellent! Ended up taking half the pretzel with us. Mark is a fisherman in Alaska, so if you get the fish, know that he has prioritized the best catch for your fish and chips. Get the cod two ways! They make it fried with a Mack and Jacks beer batter as well as grilled with an herb butter. Himself the Husband and I had it both ways - both divine. The best fish and chips (hand cut potatoes, important to an Irish girl like me) we have ever had. If you are lucky enough to spend time with Mark or anyone at Knotty Pine, you are lucky enough.
