So many good options on the menu we couldn't decide. Great beer, great food, great service!! We just got off a charter so we all needed some food and this was the best place we could have gone!

We visited Blackbeard's Brewing on July 7th, after setting up camp at the state park. No one wanted to cook and decided to give them another try (went back in November of 2024), and glad we did. One granddaughter and I tried the "Just the Single" smash burger, my son the "Fire in the Hole" and my other granddaughter got the child's grilled cheese. My burger was loaded with fresh tomato, lettuce, onion and a huge burger that was larger than the soft bun. The burger was made exactly how I asked and just enough special sauce to give it the extra blend of mouth watering deliciousness. My granddaughter said the same thing. My son's burger had two 1/4 lb patties, habanero jack cheese, sauteed jalapenos, lettuce, onion, tomato and special sauce. He couldn't eat it all. He said it was the perfect blend of "hot" and tasted really good. His only complaint, he said no onion, but they put onion on. My other granddaughter was happy with her grilled cheese. All came with beer battered fries that were scrumptious. There is so much to these burgers and fries, you could share a meal and come out full and happy.

Great variety of food. Yummy locally brewed beer and cider. Friendly and helpful staff. Even got to taste the cranberry cider to make sure I liked it. Normal pub experience. Clean area for table and chairs louse outdoor seating.

We were nearby at the winery/distillery and one of the people suggested this place to us. I'm glad they did. We stopped in on a weds evening and it was moderately busy. I had the pizzandwich and my wife had pizza. The spicy cheese curds were also delicious. Service was really good, especially given the line in such a small shop. We sat outside. It was great being out in the open air on such a beautiful day. The beer was quite good, but nothing really stood out. I had a porter and took a can of the strawberry blonde with me. I'm a dark beer guy generally, so more of those would be welcomed but not expected. It would however give me more to review. ;)

This the best pizza and beer in Westport. It's a local hangout and very popular the fishing folk. The beer has a limited selection but well crafted. The pizza is good too and reasonably priced.

Thank God for Blackbeard's Brewing. My husband and I were FIENDING for a drink, particularly from a craft brewery. I honestly didn't think this tiny town would come thru, so I was stoked when it showed up on Yelp. Also, it's basically in the middle of the residential area, so you can just walk to it if your staying near. My husband tried the Ghostship IPA (ABV. 6.5% IBU 40) and I got the holiday special, Cranberry Mead (Abv. 7.7%). I enjoyed my drink a lot, I found it floral and clean, and the cranberry wasn't overwhelming. For food we shared Blackbeard's Signature (red sauce, pepperoni, ham, sausage, olives, mushrooms and mozzarella, $18.00) with cauliflower crust ($1.00). HOLY YUM! We polished off the entire pie in 10 minutes without hesitation. This was some of the best cauliflower crust I've ever had. Everything used was very fresh and used generously. It's no wonder why this place is so popular. I would definitely recommend you to visit if you're ever in this cute lil coastal town!

This place is perfectly set up for the pandemic. You wait in line to place your order and they give you your beer right there and a beeper for your food. There's a small amount of indoor seating and a large amount of outdoor seating, some of it covered and heated, all very cute. They've got a great selection of beer on tap, including seltzer and a a few guest taps of seltzer. I had the ghostship IPA which was great - bitter but not too bitter, and very drinkable. I ordered a pizza and brownie to go, both packaged very well, including putting the cold ice cream in a different box than the hot brownie, which was much appreciated. The pizza was really good - we got the Hawaiian bbq chicken without bacon - a crisp crust, enough toppings to seem plentiful without getting soggy, and a sweet and salty flavor. The brownie was also good, a nice chocolate flavor, but maybe a bit over baked on the bottom. If we are in Westport again we will definitely stop by here again!

Not sure who the people are that gave this brewery less than what they deserve. Pizza was delicious, drinks were cold, atmosphere is great. Dogs are allowed, and lots of cuties outside today. We were excited to eat outdoors with our toddler, and how can anyone not like pizza? We ordered full tsunami and chicken bacon ranch pizza, the full tsunami comes with the works of all the toppings from pepperoni to onions olives sausages. So good, the crust is thin, sauce is savory, and all is wonderful. We ordered a basket of fries for my toddler, and they were amazing as well. The seasoning reminds me of Arby's fries without the curliness.

I could only decide (because there were ingenious choices) when our bar server, Hannah, suggested "Sweet Heat." Listed under "Pinsa Flat Bread" it came out 12"x6" thick bread perfectly browned in oven with gooey garlic/mozzarella but, wait, caramelized onions, thick-diced grilled chicken that tasted like bacon. Every two or three inches, one pickled jalapeño perfectly placed for heat that didn't burn, and over it all, drizzled HOT HONEY!!! My mouth was ecstatic. Pretty soon I couldn't wait to cut with my fork and knife to have my third and fourth triangled piece. Sitting, leaning over the high long bar, I just held the sticky, sweet cheesy spicy bread with all ten fingers tipping my head to catch the drips. Passion Orange Guava Cider washed it all down. I made a trip to the restroom and wash my hands then stopped at the kitchen window to rave about the menu with Clayton, the cook. This was all on a summer Monday night in June, low west sun shining into the cozy wood space, baseball silenced on the three screens, fun, toe-tapping music the whole two hours we stayed. On our way back north, we stopped by Mount Olympus Brewery. It was quite quiet, especially since it was a Sunday and not many people were there. We were just me and two other friends, so we decided to sit at the bar and have a few drinks. The place was fairly quiet, and they had a TV in the bar area, which was pretty cool. We ended up watching the NBA Finals game seven. The servers were amazing--down-to-earth, very personable, and they made us feel very welcome. Maybe because it wasn't that many people there, but anyway, I don't think that was an issue. There were great people there. They had plenty of options on draft and bottled/ canned , but I sampled two stouts on draft. The one that I liked the most was the Blood of Hades, which is a Barrel Aged Imperial Stout that aged for 12 months. I really enjoy the flavors of bourbon, char, and chocolate, hence the vanilla, and combined with bursting flavors of cinnamon, spice, and dark chocolate. It's by far earned its place in my top 5% of styles that I've drunk in multiple regions. I should definitely return here in the near future and indulge some more because this place seems pretty cool. It's very quiet and peaceful. I recommend coming to Mount Olympus Brewery if ever in Aberdeen.
