This is the place to be for your music needs! Billy has helped us get amps, guitars, a bass, and even a keyboard! It's a small (yet expanding) shop that is FULL of character and endless knowledge, we could quite literally spend hours here haha! The prices are great and the quality is unbeatable, thanks Beach Music!

If you get lucky, Billie may pull down a bass and start cranking out some of the most awesome bass runs ever.

I had to find a local option so I began my research. I came across several candidates, but none even came close to Jon from Guitar Tune Ups. His reviews are immaculate, which was my first green flag. His prices are unmatched, which was yet another plus, but the most notable quality to me was his ease to communicate with and ease to set up an appointment. For some reason the other shops I contacted seem to think themselves too good for the customer, but Jon is a guitar enthusiast and that is the biggest green flag to me. He is doing it for the craft and that is a man I can trust with my collection. He even took my work schedule into consideration and worked around it! A couple days later my guitar was set up and it was absolutely perfect! If you're considering a set up then look no further, this is THE guy. Thanks again for the awesome experience, Jon! Also thank you for not being an hour and a half away lol.

The setup is great and so is his pricing and now the guitar plays great! He also said it'd be a week turnaround and it was finished exactly when promised. Super nice guy and highly recommended. Thanks Jon!

It has a neighborhood vibe that feels warm and personal which can sometimes be hard to find. Both my kids are learning piano with Paige and they have just blossomed under her tutelage. She's attentive to technique but still keeps it fun, and she always provides guidance on what to practice at home. Also, she's flexible with scheduling lessons which has been helpful with our hectic schedule. I haven't had any interaction with the other teachers but I'm sure they're great, too. There are recitals twice a year at a nearby church, and the cost is minimal to participate. Super well-organized, and it's a great opportunity for the kids to be brave and showcase their talents. I've seen my kids grow on stage and the other kids, too. So it's kind of neat to see everyone's growth. And while most kids are in the beginning phases of their journey, there's also some pretty advanced music going on, as well.

I first reviewed this company when I desperately needed money and they helped me with a loan in the…read moreexact amount I needed. I gave them five stars at the time due to the exceptional service, friendliness, and respect I was shown. The loan became due recently and I felt compelled to update my experience due to some of the negative reviews. First off, I received emails and text messages reminding me that my due date was coming up. I even received a phone call from Lalo, manager, to let me know. When I informed him that I was trying to get the money to pay off the loan as I didn't want to lose the jewelry I had given as collateral, he told me to just stay in contact and keep him informed. I had to call him three times to keep getting extensions past the final grace period due date. Every single time, Lalo was so gracious and reassured me that my jewelry would not be sold and extended the time I requested. It took me an additional week and a half to pay the loan and pick up my jewelry. I had two items and they were packed individually in bubble wrap and put inside a nice box. The level of care taken to store my jewelry should tell you enough of how great this pawn shop is. All the negative reviews, I suspect, has more to do with the individual than how they were actually treated. I've had occasion to use three different pawn shops in the past and I would recommend this pawn shop over any other.

****ATTENTION***** Hey! there is absolutely not one lie whatsoever in anything i said!…read more quite the opposite. 4 messages? there was two and do these messages mention anything about an item about to be forfeited or provide any helpful info or could they just be mistaken for a random advertisement/spam? Plus These messages came that same week, not 30 days ahead and that can be proven. Did you not sell my item immediately as soon as you could and over the weekend? so fast that it wasn't even in your system yet that you had sold it. Tell me i'm lying again when i say your employees, your computer system and your website still all thought my item was at the shop. If i were so late to pick it up, wouldn't these things been done by then? But No, like a little leprechaun with his lucky charms you were so quick to run off with it that nothing had to time register. Tell me that if it were tools, or memorabilia or any other type of item, that you wouldnt still have it there a day after the date, but this was a quick buck. You want me to learn from the experience, how about you learn decent customer service and some consideration. You also only gave me half of what it was worth. It's not like its value is only what you can sell it for. It has a set regulated monetary price for which it could be exchanged for at anytime. Its actually the one item that has the least amount of risk of loaning a fair price on. Thats if you were more interested in making money off the loan rather than keeping the item. Or you could have even given me proper compensation afterwards. So for anyone reading this, form your own opinion. Do you see a pattern here? Do you see a lot of little hints of shadiness or did i happen just make a whole bunch of mistakes then decide to come on Yelp and then just make this all up? How about the tone of the messages, was there a purpose behind him bringing up the whole names thing? Think maybe he could put some things into consideration, or even apology just for the fact someone had a bad experience doing business with him. Also, ask yourself if you're going to do business with someone, Is it nice to have just a speck of flexibility, or have your interests matter whatsoever. How about the willlingness to accept no blame then calling you a liar. Do these sound like good traits to you?
