I made appointments for July and august. Couldn't remember the dates because I made appointments 4 month/advance . She never answered my calls. It didn't disappoint me that badly until I herniated two discs. My poor dog was so dirty all I can do is say she doesn't have an moral compass. read more

This team has created an exceptional dog grooming experience - I had no idea it could be this good!!! My angel pup was in desperate need of grooming and after our usual groomer cancelled the day before we were heading to the country we were really in a bind. I'm very particular with where I bring my dog for grooming (or anything really!) and on top of that everyone was desperate for grooming with the Covid-related "pause" in spring. I called and Lara was so compassionate and really cared about my dog's well-being, and we were able to find a time to squeeze him in for a quick cut. He usually shakes when I drop him off but he immediately took to Lara and the setting was idyllic. I never could've imagined a grooming setup like this, open-air and cageless- it was really a beautiful thing. My boy was attended to quickly and came back to us healthy and happy. It was so good I honestly have thought about trying to make trips out East specifically based on his grooming schedule...I cannot say enough good things about this place. I found a dog person whose dog had a wonderful grooming. She referred me to Lara at Beach Paws. And indeed Lara and her staff are gems. We have a rescue 22 lb pomeranian who is scared and skittish around strangers, probably with good reason. He had a lot of matted fur/hair along with his undercoat, since he won't easily let me groom him. Well, he looked so handsome when I picked him up. Lara and her people worked on him, then let him walk around exploring the place and the other dogs, and then, they did more work on him. No one was rushed, and the pace worked for him. Lara showed me the tiniest scissors and the tiniest comb that they used on him. She also clipped his nails, no easy feat. We are so lucky to have found Lara who knows about dogs and rescues. She has a gentle, but self-assured manner that demonstrates confidence in the dogs and their people. As you can imagine, Lara is busy, but ake an appt in advance. She is worth the wait. read more

Lara and her team are truly knowledgeable and compassonete lovers of all living creatures. Beach Paws is a very unique grooming experience. Lara's tender loving care and expertise in grooming and dog handling is unlike any other groomer I have ever experienced. She handles my 90 lb German Shepard with ease and gave him the best grooming experience he has ever had. Lara knows how to handle and comfort even the most stressed out dog, while able to still provide a wonderful doggie spa experience. I too, like the other reviewer, hate to go on and on how amazing Lara is because her great reputation already speaks volumes of what you can expect at beach paws! Beach Paws has been grooming my smooth collie (aka the big shedderf) for several years, and they probably should now have enough hair to make a few dog beds and mattresses read more
