Lobster roll and two donuts with copious amounts of cheese smothered in between hanging delicately over the best tomato soup ever.

STOP... IT!!!! What? This place isn't PACKED every minute they are open? The most creative, delicious food experience in ages! Service was top notch. Drinks are definitely something to write home about... and I did. As soon as I left I texted my friends and said that they would be missing out if they didn't drive 45 mins the wrong way (to get to our camp) and go to eat at this place tomorrow. TAKE THE EXIT! Drive 45 mins the wrong way. Heck, drive an HOUR the wrong way to dine here. Maybe not two hours, I'd hate for them to have an off day (every place has them) on the day that I've told you to drive two hours out of your way;)

We came on a Sunday evening for a quick dinner after checking out their menu online. They had lots of indoor and outdoor seating. There were plenty of tables open so its a good spot for large groups. As we opted to sit outside, it was a bit chilly, I hope they decide to add patio heaters in the future to make it more comfortable for guests dining outside. We ordered the shrimp bang bang and a chicken wrap with two cocktails. Utensils were disposable and water was given as a big glass bottle with plastic cups. The food was good and the cocktails we chose were decent.

It could not have been a prettier day we drove there because of all of the great reviews, even a TikTok video and we were not disappointed. We went for it we got the trio of lobster rolls. One was a classic with mayonnaise and melted butter, the next one had a bacon jam on top, which I have to say it was totally my jam and then the last one was the tajin roll... the acid from the lime flavor and the chili was delicious. We then got the brussels sprouts and if we weren't full, we would've gotten another. My husband got a beer from the brewery right there and really liked it. We even got to talk with the brewmaster as he was working away. I got to try the flight of margaritas and for 24 bucks to get two margaritas worth. It was a lot of fun and delish. I look forward to making this a regular stop when heading up the coast .

The food was great. My husband, with celiac, got a cobb salad, I got a chicken Caesar salad. And we shared Gluten Friendly Ogunquit fries. No dedicated kitchen for super sensitive Celiacs, but my husband had no issues. Atmosphere was hip and fun and bohemian. Inside had only counter height seating. There was lower seating outside. Our bill came to $100 but that included 2 fabulous mai tais.

Food For Thought had me rethinking my life choices... like why I don't live closer to Cape Neddick! Classic Gastro Pub food--creative, fun, and comforting. The seasonal cocktails deserve their own fan club. Yum! Add in the quirky, playful vibe and you've got a spot that makes eating here feel like an adventure. 10/10 would happily over indulge here again.

I have been to my share of unique food serving places in my life. I will say this place is definitely up there with "unique" and a flavor of "lost in the woods". I had the opportunity to observe some fantastic guests coming and going while we were here. The clientele was definitely a big part of the entertainment factor. My favorite was the (obviously) entitled woman, her husband, and three children who decided that the handicapped spot was calling her name, instead of someone who may actually need it. They proceeded to have a verbal disagreement in their vehicle where he (appeared) to be telling her not to park there. I assume she's the type who chooses to board first on a Southwest Flight because "I don't have to tell you about my disability HIPPA!" This is the same woman who was asking about gluten free Brussels Sprouts and that "well they used to have them". After that interesting eavesdropping session, I see her eating a lobstah roll. "If the shoe fits", as they say. Anyway. The food was good, reasonable priced (for Maine). The service was okay. They don't have any N/A beers, which is whatever, despite the fact it's becoming more popular. It's not a knock on them, just is what it is. Their kitchen seems to be a mishmash of random things from around town. We ordered "Nashville Hot Tendies". They were well fried, not dry. Definitely not "hot" by any means (spice wise). I didn't expect Indian-restaurant-Level-10-Curry over here, but when given the choice of "Mild" , "Medium", and "Hot", this was less of a mild, and certainly nowhere near a hot. But that's okay because they were still good! Closest I've seen to KFC! The bread they used to soak up the oil was definitely ready to hit my stomach and lube the lines for the evening/morning diarizzy. The donut grilled cheese sure is unique, and there are enough photos of it around. It's weird, but worth the try. Lastly, Flo's Pizza. The waitress/server/service person whatever they choose to be titled these days, took about 10 minutes to describe this thing to me. "It's uh, kind of like, there's a place in town called Flo's, have you been to Flo's? They make hot dogs. Uhm, have you had our pizza before? It's kind of like that, but it has Alfredo sauce and celery". I'm not sure if it's a generational thing, but it seems like anyone under 30 years old, and working in the underpaid customer service industry lacks any sort of social skills, or an understanding in brevity (see: entire review of my rambling). Either way. The pizza had some really really good flavor. I couldn't tell if it was undercooked crust, or nearly transparent due to all of the grease. It was like a BBQ chicken pizza with good hotdog on it. I enjoy! Decent place. Pretty damn good food. I am into the occasional super grease, so I can't complain. After waiting about 15 minutes to have a spoon brought over for the soup (she completely did not acknowledge or seem to understand why a spoon was requested) I ended up getting one from a confused bartender.

Overall pretty good lunch. We got here during the brunch menu but I wanted something from the regular menu so I had to wait a bit until they switched the menus over. While waiting my husband ordered the steak and eggs from the brunch menu and we had some drinks. When the time came I had the donut grilled cheese. It was super weird but I am still glad I had it. The food and service good and the outside seating great on a nice day.

It was fine. I was upset about the price of the lobster rolls, but the price is the same in Bar Harbor.

They also have an awesome variety of cocktails on tap, including espresso martinis. My sister and I decided to order prosecco with a strawberry kiwi ice cube inside. This was such a good idea and the drink just kept getting yummier as the ice melted. I would definitely return to order this. We also ordered their Sunday sauce beer which we didn't particularly enjoy, but it was fun to try. The ambiance of the brewery was also very nice. It was very clean inside and they really lean into the industrial brewery vibe. They had outdoor seating, which we took advantage of since the weather was so nice. The only thing about the brewery is that it's so close to the ocean but the ocean isn't visible at all. The outdoor patio is situated at a busy crossroads and none of the charming center of town or ocean are visible. You kind of have to remove yourself from your beach vacation when you walk through the doors.

The food was from a food truck, cannot remember the name but tasty lobster rolls and clam chowder. We went for trivia night but missed the piano bar the next night. I actually would go as far as saying they are underrated in talks of all the breweries in Maine. They have always been a brewery with a vast amount of variety in their styles they brew. Such as IPAs, fruited sours, porters, stouts, lagers, and so many more. Enough variety you could visit and all your party could find their style. They also deserve a lot of credit for being one of the first if not the first in the state to jump on the non-alcoholic train for beers. This has expanded to basically be as varied in style as their usual beers now. I actually enjoyed their NA Mexican Lager and it was delicious and would be a great option for those looking for NA beers. My wife grabbed their NA seltzer and enjoyed it as well. Since that expansion they have also moved into adaptogen beverages as well as CBD/THC drinks too. They keep expanding their portfolio while also doing what they already do so well! Also for non beer drinkers they did have some bourbon and other spirits available as well. Really great options for all who show up! They don't offer food themselves besides some free popcorn, which was seasoned perfectly! Although if feeling like more food swing in next door to Weathervine and grab some food before to pair with your drink. The bartender was very friendly and apologized when my first choice kicked and from his interactions with other patrons it is clear Woodland Farms cares about their customers! A spot my wife and I will make sure to return to sooner rather than later. You should check it out as well!

No big deal, I was a party of one, and they were quite busy on the Saturday night that I went. Service is impeccable, really no complaints there. The food was great as well, though I wasn't a particularly big fan of the wood-fired beets (if you like horseradish on beet, you would like them). Fried oysters were great, I mean really good. Spaghetti with guanciale is absolutely incredible; key lime pie similarly amazing. Overall, I'll be back here. Plan to spend at least $50 per person. What a great location.

Our entire table basically had to order the exact same thing because there was nothing else left. The space is lovely and it's a nice spot for a regular dinner, but they were definitely not equipped for the holiday rush. Don't go for Mother's Day.
