Juicy carne asada, melted cheese, cool sour cream, and fluffy rice all crashed together at once. It was the kind of bite that immediately makes you lean back in your chair and say, "Oh wow holy hell." The steak was packed with flavor, rich and savory, with just enough char to remind you it came off a hot grill. The cheese melted into every corner, while the sour cream smoothed everything out like a perfect finishing touch. Nothing felt fancy. It just felt right. And then came the fries. The glorious, beautiful fries. They are the reason California burritos have such a loyal following, and this one proves why.
