I really like the grilled chicken with the hummus. Platter was$18, they sell sides of hummus in frig for $5, it comes with pita bread.

Great food. So many options I did not know what to pick. Service was wonderful. Was greated with the friendliest smiles. The staff was so patient and helpful. Plenty of space outside. I really look forward to going back. Special thanks to Chef Zeke!

went here on the day trip with my family and we really enjoyed the chicken shawarma and the lucille sandwiches Very flavourful and filling. The chicken shawarma has a refreshing kick to it with because of the pickled onions. The lucille was such a good sandwich with a complex flavour profile. The class pastrami was a bit too salty. the service was great -- staff were so friendly. Appreciate the free coffee and looove the cute lil patio outside

One of the best sandwiches I've ever had . I got the tuna Sando . This sandwich was so simple yet so delicious . It had the perfect balance of sweetness from the pickled onions . Savory ness from the bread tuna and the Mayo . The perfect crunch . It was just so good . I did take out so I'm not sure what it's like inside but this sandwich was made with so much love . I didn't even get a pic of the sandwich it was too good lol

Simply an amazing sandwich shop, I mean got love they have basic sandwiches with upgraded flair and flavor. Plus love the menu board that is individually posted on separate pages with very full descriptions. All that aside I got spicy cheesesteak and let me say it lived up to it, with chili's relishes and seasoning, thinly sliced beef and plenty of gooey cheesesteak, with a lot of caramelized onions. Definitely worth a try.

Whether you're making the trip up from the city or you're lucky enough to call Dutchess County home, Beacon Quality Eats is absolutely worth the stop. This spot is serving up some of the best sandwiches in the Hudson Valley--hands down. On a recent visit, I tried the Duck Banh Mi and The Fred--both were phenomenal. The flavors were bold, balanced, and creative, without being overdone. The duck was tender and richly seasoned, and The Fred hit that perfect savory-satisfying spot. And the house-made pastrami? Out. Standing. You can tell it's made with care and quality from the very first bite. The vibe inside matches the food--laid back, cool, and effortlessly inviting. There's fantastic street art on the walls, ceiling, and even in the bathroom, all done by a local artist, which gives the place a unique energy that fits right into Beacon's creative spirit. It's easy to swing by, grab something delicious, and head out to explore the town, or just hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. Great service that is quick and attentive. I can't wait to go back and try more from the menu. This place isn't just a quick stop--it's a reason to visit Beacon all on its own.

We went with another couple for a weekend trip to Beacon. We picked Beacon because there is good golf (Centennial and Union Vale) and good food in the area, such as the Kitchen Sink Supper Club. To be honest, we were not optimistic when we first sat down because the chef explained that the seasonal tasting would be a "celebration of tomatoes." I had selected this restaurant based on online reviews so I felt horrible because my wife and the other couple do not really like tomatoes. Fortunately for me, they were all willing to give it a shot; although, they did really have a choice since we had to prepay for the meals when we made the reservation. Interestingly enough and fortunately for them, this "celebration of tomatoes" did not mean that every dish was tomato-forward in taste or presentation. In fact, the presence of the tomatoes was barely noticeable in a few dishes such as in the ceviche and the salad. I am usually not a fan of ceviche but I really enjoyed this one because of the corn 3-ways and the scallops. It just goes to show that you should not dismiss this place just because you do not usually like the dishes on their seasonal menu; you should give them a shot. One of the dishes in their regular menu is an MLT: mackerel (!) bacon, tomato and greens on a brioche. Luckily, this was changed that night to a delicious creamy tomato soup. The only thing missing was a grilled cheese sandwich to dip but with so many courses, we were probably better off without it. The stars of the night were the inside out ravioli and the Wagyu beef steak tomato. As the name implies, the tomato sauce was inside the ravioli and it was quite the flavor bomb. The wagyu steak cubs with accompanying tomato cubes were perfectly cooked and so well seasoned, and the cubes complemented each other perfectly. I did not know what to expect from a tomato dessert but as with a couple of other dishes, you could not really tell there were tomatoes in there, which was just fine for my fellow diners because they were tomatoed out at that point.

Went here for Valentine's Day, our first dining out date. I usually cook on this day but decided to venture out and see what's out there. Was intrigued what KSS had to offer and decided to do the chef's tasting menu. They are only open for supper on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The place is intimate and the tasting menu was presented on the table with the optional wine pairing. From the moment we had the first bite, it was just an experience. Bite after bite was a delight for our taste buds. Although the ingredients were familiar, the taste was not. It truly needed the attention of your taste buds to enjoy each bite. You don't know what you don't know and each bite of this course was phenomenal. The pork that was served was a cross breed of an Iberico and Berkshire hog (I was told) from a natural farm. That parsnip puree and its sauce was unlike I've ever tasted. I literally wanted to lick that plate clean. The meat may have been overcooked as it was a little hard to cut into it. If you want to experience a Chef's tasting locally at Beacon, head to their website for reservations and check out the menu.

These folks are artisans of sandos. The Baller is so good. The meatballs are huge and the ricotta is a perfect compliment. The chicken shawarma is filled with juicy chicken, tons of fresh toppings and fresh pita. Super impressed

From the very beginning, Chris, the owner, was an absolute pleasure to work with. Since The Beacon Daily typically does not offer direct delivery for a la carte orders, I explained that this lunch was part of a very important three day celebration and that everything needed to be handled with extra care. Without hesitation, Chris personally stepped in, took ownership of the order, and even delivered it himself all the way to Glynwood's Perkins House. His attention to detail, responsiveness, and willingness to accommodate our requests were truly remarkable. He thoughtfully provided compostable plates, napkins, and flatware and made sure every aspect of the order was handled flawlessly. It is rare to find a business owner so personally invested in ensuring a customer's event is successful. Most importantly, the food was fantastic. The event planner shared that the lunch was extremely well received, with guests offering numerous compliments throughout the afternoon. Everything was fresh, delicious, beautifully prepared, and perfect for our group. Chris went above and beyond in every way, and the combination of outstanding food and exceptional customer service made The Beacon Daily one of the highlights of the event weekend. This place is counter service, so we made our way directly to the register to place our order. Upon ordering, we were warned that it would be at least a 30 minute wait until our food was ready due them being short staffed. Although we were hungry, we weren't in a rush and truly appreciated the heads up! I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan sandwich and WOWZA! The sandwich was HUGE! I took a photo of my Gatorade bottle laying next to it for comparison (haha). I hardly ate half of it because it was so filling, however it was definitely delicious. My husband ordered a sandwich of his own (although I can't remember which one) and he was equally pleased. We also ordered a side of tots which were crispy and salty, just how I like them! My husband and I definitely could've shared one sandwich as we both don't eat a lot in one sitting, so this is something to keep in mind if you're reading this before your first visit here!! The weather was absolutely gorgeous so we chose to sit on the front patio. It was such a lovely atmosphere for lunch! Also, because we were sitting outside, they told us to come back in 30 minutes to check if our order was ready because we wouldn't be able to hear them call our name. All in all, a pleasant experience! Would definitely recommend this place for lunch, especially if you're in the mood for sandwiches.

Fresh strawberries and mint were nice to see, but there was hardly any alcohol in the drink and the straw was far too narrow to be able to take a sip without it becoming obstructed. Poured woefully short as well, topped with even more ice and seltzer. Had the tempura shrimp to start. Generous portion, well seasoned. Slightly rubbery but not detracting from the dish. Aioli was great, but could have used a little more. Chili sauce was also good, but could barely get any in the ramekin it was in. Bacon cheeseburger with mushroom for my main followed. Looking back, there was actually NO bacon on the burger. Not sure if the kitchen overlooked it, or what. $4 for added mushrooms seemed a bit exorbitant at first, but they were oyster mushrooms. Fries were crisp and wonderfully seasoned. Ordered the burger medium - came out medium and juicy.... But absolutely flavorless. If their head chef loved salt like their fry cook, this burger would have been spectacular. The mushrooms never got to drive off extra water because of the lack of salt, and the meat just fell flat without seasoning. I wanted to love this burger, but I just couldn't no matter how hard I tried. Had the crack pie, advertised to be similar to Monofuku Milk Bar... for someone who had crack pie multiple times before it became the phenomena it is now, this falls short, by a lot. The chess pie filling is far too dense, lacking caramelization. The pie crust was undercooked and anemic. Sugar decoration on top added zero value to the dessert, and coconut ice cream is far too competitive a flavor to put against this dessert. Sauces on the plate were weak and boring eye service. Paid my $80 bill, tipped (even though the bartender was rarely seen or asking how things were), and headed out. For a quiet weekday, the service and quality of food were severely underwhelming.
