Figured I'd try the place earlier this week based on the yelp reviews. Restaurant is in a space that's had a lot of turnover through the years, but reviews were good and it looked updated. Sat at the bar and ordered a strawberry mojito. Fresh strawberries and mint were nice to see, but there was hardly any alcohol in the drink and the straw was far too narrow to be able to take a sip without it becoming obstructed. Poured woefully short as well, topped with even more ice and seltzer. Had the tempura shrimp to start. Generous portion, well seasoned. Slightly rubbery but not detracting from the dish. Aioli was great, but could have used a little more. Chili sauce was also good, but could barely get any in the ramekin it was in. Bacon cheeseburger with mushroom for my main followed. Looking back, there was actually NO bacon on the burger. Not sure if the kitchen overlooked it, or what. $4 for added mushrooms seemed a bit exorbitant at first, but they were oyster mushrooms. Fries were crisp and wonderfully seasoned. Ordered the burger medium - came out medium and juicy.... But absolutely flavorless. If their head chef loved salt like their fry cook, this burger would have been spectacular. The mushrooms never got to drive off extra water because of the lack of salt, and the meat just fell flat without seasoning. I wanted to love this burger, but I just couldn't no matter how hard I tried. Had the crack pie, advertised to be similar to Monofuku Milk Bar... for someone who had crack pie multiple times before it became the phenomena it is now, this falls short, by a lot. The chess pie filling is far too dense, lacking caramelization. The pie crust was undercooked and anemic. Sugar decoration on top added zero value to the dessert, and coconut ice cream is far too competitive a flavor to put against this dessert. Sauces on the plate were weak and boring eye service. Paid my $80 bill, tipped (even though the bartender was rarely seen or asking how things were), and headed out. For a quiet weekday, the service and quality of food were severely underwhelming. read more

The good and the bad, Beautiful restaurant , great waiting staff. Our tall handsome waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and very attentive all thru out. Though he served bread once and never asked if we wanted more! Now for the food The Hanger steak, with Arugula Salad and feta cheese (tasty) fries are French fries nothing special, the Hanger Steak was served medium rare with a bit of Chimichurri ( tasteless) needed salt n pepper, very tiny portion for the price. Duck a l'Orange also kind of small portion and not particularly tasty, served with red cabbage and blood orange au jus!! Shrimp Linguini, nothing out of the world, needed salt n pepper, very bland. Food was Good nothing great that stood out ? After taking our order it did seem like a really long time to get our food to the point I was going to go and find out what was going on but did not. Service started out great but not enough attention given to remove 2 empty oysters shell bowls and had to ask to be removed also had to ask to have refills on water. Taking into consideration that we were a party of 8 and that Danny's Table is still very new so we will come back with just the 2 of us to see if I may be off on my criticism and will give an update on our next visit. I'm sure they're working on getting management down ? Hopefully soon. We will go back 1 more time. read more

Went here for lunch for my birthday. My father treated, although he is in Florida for the winter he said all his friends were raving about this place. We had the lobster bisque and shrimp tempura to start. Both delicious. A bottle of Pinot Grigio. Wasn't too dry, was actually just right. I ordered the chicken Milanese. My boyfriend visiting from Italy said it is better than the chicken in Milan. Ha! He ordered the steak sandwich. I had a few bites it was really good. To finish was the crème brûlée. We shared it. Made with Tahitian vanilla. Divine. Ambiance is pretty dark. We went there in the mid afternoon. It is well decorated and very clean inside. The bar looked very welcoming but we opted for a table. First time here tonight on a double date. Space is really nicely done. Nice long bar. We were greeted and seated right away. To start we had the charcuterie board and sweet potato gnocchi. Wish there was more cheese on the charcuterie but it was still good. The gnocchi was my favorite. The mix of capers and mushrooms, really good. Table favorites for sure. For dinner we ordered the swordfish special, spicy chicken sandwich, short rib entree and hanger steak. Everyone was so happy with their dinner. Everything was delicious. For dessert we had the apple crumble , momofuku crack pie and the beggars purse. All were so so good. Would definitely come back. Everyone was so nice and pleasant. Highly recommend you check it out. (If I could give 1000 stars, I would!) Danny's Table in Fishkill, New York is an absolute gem! From start to finish, the entire experience was incredible. We started with the Beet Salad -- fresh, colorful, and perfectly balanced -- and the Oysters Rockefeller, which were out of this world. Perfectly done, rich, and full of flavor! We also had the Fish Tacos, and wow -- every bite was bursting with flavor. The couple sitting next to us ordered the Lamb Chops and Chicken Francese, and they said it was the best they've ever had in their lives. The food here is beyond amazing -- every dish tastes like it was made with love and passion. The chef (formerly from The Kettle House in Chappaqua) clearly knows exactly what he's doing. They also have a fantastic vegetarian section that looks incredible -- and if you're vegan or have allergies, they'll gladly create something special just for you. The restaurant is simply beautiful inside, we never felt so comfortable everything was outstanding. Hands down, this is one of the best dining experiences I've ever had in Fishkill, NY. We picked up dinner from Danny's Table last night. Everything was phenomenal--the Gnudi, the salads, burrata, chicken Milanese, pecan pie, crack pie were all fantastic. Also packaged nicely for carry out with plentiful portion sizes. From start to finish the service is on point!! Everything is taken care of before you know it. We both had appetizers. I had the bluefin tuna rice cakes which were delicious. My wife had the lobster bisque which unfortunately was the only disappointment. It was very thin and tasteless. The waitress had no issues with us sending it back and it was removed from the bill. Both of our meals were excellent. My wife had the hanger steak and I had the swordfish special. The menu is diverse and I can't wait to try some other stuff. So, I needed a cozy place where I could take my remaining siblings and celebrate my recent birthday. You see, there were once 10 of us, and now only 5 remain. I wanted to make this memorable for all of us. Enter, Danny's Table. This little gem in the Village of Fishkill met every expectation and exceeded them. We took an early dining hour and were seated immediately by Arnoldo, the host, who checked often to assure that we were comfortable and satisfied. We were expertly served by two waitresses, Nayeli and Dyan. And then came the delicious food. The appetizers were so good that I forgot to take pictures of the entrees. I had it all. Great food, great service, and the excellent company I brought with me was already in the bag. I don't know how they could have achieved this level of excellent service and fine dining when they have only been open since September, 2025, but wow! A great addition to the village of Fishkill! My 95yo mom and I decided on a late lunch so I called to ascertain access. The owner told me exactly where to park next to the ramp to the back door. The place is quite roomy but cozy. Wellfleet oysters were spot on. Shrimp were large and flavorful. Salad Nicoise was topped with beautifully seared Ahi tuna and perfect accompaniments. Our server was gracious and knowledgeable. Because they do not close between lunch and dinner, we were able to sit and chat for quite a while without inconvenience. Absolutely will return. read more

Absolutely the best food in Fishkill. Owned by former Kittle House folks so they know how to cook! Head and shoulders above everything else around, with both the presentation and food itself. Just wow! The atmosphere, service, and food is incredibly amazing. My friend and I got the beets carpaccio as an appetizer. The orange vinaigrette and goat cheese on the beets was delicious. My friends & I have been going out for years just the four of us every Thursday well as you may not know clearly we are all foodies enjoying every restaurant in the Hudson valley area we decided to try out this new spot that recently opened 2 months ago the ambience was extremely warm and welcoming The service was excellent the food was exceptional I had the brisket Ruben it was by far the best in the Hudson valley area the chicken sandwich was so tender great deal of care and detail in every plate that was served, we topped it off with the Galotto for dessert and we had the purse dessert I can only say wow what an ending from the first bite to the last bite no complaints no disappointment just absolutely delicious. I walked in at 6:15 on a Friday evening and was immediately seated. The service was great. The waiter was on his A game and very responsive. I ordered the tuna au poivre. It was delicious with a perfect sear and pink center. I finished with the vanilla bean crème brûlée. I'm the kind of guy that if you put a strawberry on my dessert as garnish, it's getting eaten. Needless to say the dessert was really good also. Ambiance was good not great. The restaurant was half full but still rather loud. My husband works away from home 90% and is currently on a job in Fishkill. He doesn't like to dine alone and often doesn't have much time as he works 14 hours a day often so he grabs something quick and unhealthy! I did some research and placed an order for him to pick up at Danny's Table. He is so happy! Awesome food and enough for three meals. He had the New York and Chicken Caesar. Best restaurant on Main Street! Ordered the duck l'orange because, well why not. It was absolutely amazing. The seasoning was perfect, the sauce spot on and the confit croquette should be packaged for wholesale! My girlfriend has the pork chop which was gigundo and came with perfectly cooked spiced apples. For dessert we split a crème brûlée that was 10/10. The prices reflect what you get and at an extreme value! The staff was amazing and was always there to check on us. 10/10. Food was horrible and service was just as bad. WAAAAYYY over priced and small portions. My husband had the shortribs and the portion was way "short" not enough to feed a toddler. I had the duck confit and it was also WAYYYY over priced and horrible. There was no flavor at all to the duck and it was very gamey. The cabbage was tasteless along with the other unknown dishes served with it. Service was horrible. Out waiter was more concerned to serivice the table of 5 instead of my husband and I.
