iced honey coconut latte with oat milk

What a cute space to do work in the Spring Branch area! There is also a drive-through in the back for quick to-go service. I loved the windows bringing in the natural light, there were so many tables (each with outlets!), and the music was also a nice touch. This space is so customer and work-friendly with the wifi password on every table or in visual line of sight, which makes you feel welcome and productive. The baristas are also sooo nice and willing to give recommendations for your first time. The honey coconut latte was delicious and a great recommendation. It is a little sweet for my liking but they are able to adjust sweetness level too. Overall, a wonderful cafe for your study or work needs!

Update: their new spring menu is so good! I've come back and had their mango matcha about 5 times in the past 3 weeks. I'm obsessed. Everyone that works here is still super sweet. My friend tried an iced vanilla latte today and she said it was really good, definitely less bitter now. It's quickly become one of my favorite spots!

"Everyone is so friendly here!"...literally my first sentence upon arrival. From the exterior this spot doesn't look like much, but I'm so glad I went inside instead of going through the drive thru. The beauty of this spot is the service and setup. From kiddos in booths with their parents, to high schoolers enjoying a date night, to studying students and more, so many types of patrons filtered through this spot on the day of my visit. I kept my coffee pretty simple with a peppermint mocha. Craving everything sweet I also had a strawberry cheese danish. They both did the job, but more impressive than the coffee was the ample selection of options from seasonal favorites to build your own matcha. As far as the seating, although they were both taken, the back of the shop houses two covered booth, perfect for those attempting to finish work without distraction. Near the booths you'll find a conventional open floorplan, but I chose to sit in the area beyond that, with comfy cosy living room chairs. Caffeine, sugar, and a cozy environment served with a smile are the ways to my heart and this spot delivered on all three. I'll be back soon!

I finally stopped by Bean Theory, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. This is such a thoughtfully designed neighborhood coffee shop cute without being overdone, cozy but still functional if you actually need to get work done. First off, the space itself is a vibe. The semi-private booth seating is super cute and surprisingly comfortable, making it easy to settle in with a laptop for a few hours. I also loved that they have games available at the tables if you're meeting up with friends or just want something fun to do while hanging out. Bonus points for the music playlist!!!! It really set the tone and made the space feel relaxed but upbeat. Food and drinks were excellent. I ordered the pesto mozzarella chicken sandwich, and it was fresh, flavorful, and filling without feeling heavy, definitely one I'd reorder. For my drink, I did a Build-Your-Own Matcha with strawberry flavor and strawberry cold foam, and wow. Genuinely so good. The balance was perfect, not overly sweet, super creamy, and very well crafted. If you're a matcha person, this is a must-try. Overall, Bean Theory feels like one of those places you can come to for a quick coffee, a work session, or a relaxed catch-up with friends and it works for all of it. Cute space, great menu options, solid food, and a really welcoming atmosphere. I'll absolutely be back. Highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for a go-to local coffee spot.

This is the coffee shop next to a Discount Tires. It's a very spacious location where you can meet with friends, do work or just spend time alone. The young ladies were nice, and provided good service. I opted for the specialty, Strawberry Matcha Green Tea Latte I like the fact that they have a 48 oz cup option. lol. The bakery items looked slightly dry so I am not sure if I will try them in the future. I will definitely come back to try a coffee option.

This is a cute and cozy coffee store right off of Long Point Road. My friend and I visited here before Halloween and the inside was very well decorated! There are a good number of tables and couches for customers to sit down and/or study. The menu has so many fun flavors to choose from! I ordered a Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte with Biscoff foam on top and my friend ordered a honey signature latte. The service here is fantastic- the barista who took our order was very welcoming and helped me out when I was struggling to figure out what I wanted to order. Both drinks were delicious! I did ask for half the sweetness but I'm not sure if I was able to get that because the drink was still very sweet. Tasted great though! One little thing I wish was different was the back door located next to the booths. When the door closes, it slams pretty hard and makes a loud bang noise. Other than that, great service, wonderful vibes, and delicious coffee! Looking forward to coming back and trying other drinks on the menu.

Bean Theory is a fun name, I guess PJ's didn't make it at this location. As far as the space goes, I really like the interior, there's lots of windows and the general design is cozy enough to want to stick around and enjoy your coffe in. There's a drive thru if you don't Have the time to go inside. The standard coffee syrup flavors are there for latte lovers like myself. There's also a build your own matcha part of the menu that seems to be pretty unique, I didn't get involved in that just yet. Thought my drink was ok, it's an iced latte so not a ton of room for wow factor. Food options are also available, but looking behind the glass counter made me think that many of the food options are premade and later heated up. It's a missed opportunity to me, looks like there's a reasonable kitchen that could have a couple really well defined made to order options.

delicious spot! i tried the blueberry matcha, and the foam is made fresh in house. i like that they offer a "build your own matcha" with ample options such as peach, mango, blueberry, strawberry, etc. plenty of seating- looks small on the outside but spacious on the inside with trendy decor. i would return to try their other drinks. they offer a variety of seasonal drinks, and the workers were so nice.

Biscoff latte - 8/10 - Pretty good, could use more biscoff Pumpkin spiced latte w/pumpkin foam - 9/10 - Loved the pumpkin flavor and creamy foam Signature honey latte - 7/10 - More on the bitter side, i would prefer more honey Matcha w/coconut foam - 8/10 - I got this with extra matcha , pretty good for sweet matcha drinks SF dubai chocolate - 8/10 - Loved the dark chocolate shell and crunch but filling could use more pistachio Strawberry cheese danish - 9/10 - Bread was fresh and had a good amount of filling Banana nut muffin - 10/10 - Loved how moist/soft this was This cozy coffee shop opened this past summer and has so many flavors and pastry options!! They can make cold foam from any syrup on the menu. The inside has lots of seats and is great to hang with friends, or work/study at They also have a drive thru! Try them out if youre in the area

Bean Theory has officially become my new favorite coffee shop! The employees here are some of the sweetest I've ever encountered -- truly KIND, which is so rare these days. I honestly haven't been to a coffee shop where I was this impressed with the service. Everyone made me and my mom (who was in town this weekend) feel so welcomed that we ended up going every single day! Now the drinks. I tried their Biscoff latte (a specialty) and wow -- absolutely delicious! I also had their honey latte with oat milk and it was just as amazing. Both drinks were so flavorful, balanced, and comforting without being overly sweet. The food was a hit too. Their feta + spinach croissant was incredible -- and speaking as a Greek girl who can usually tell if spinach is frozen, I honestly couldn't tell because it was that good! Their butter croissant was also flaky and delicious. Everything I tried was so fresh and satisfying. The price point is very fair for the quality, and the shop itself is spacious -- perfect for a work day with plenty of seating and a good-sized parking lot. And as a bonus, they even have a drive-thru, which is a game-changer on busy mornings. Bean Theory has truly won me over with both their coffee and their kindness. I can't wait to go back, try more of their special lattes, and work my way through more of the baked goods. 100% recommend this gem!

Get the Biscoff Latte!!! Bean Theory took over PJ coffee. They have so many flavor options and Cold foam options as well (Lavender, brown sugar, strawberry and more). Plenty of seating indoors and space to study or work. Biscoff Latte was really good. The cold foam that comes with it paired really well with the coffee. Strong cafe taste and you can really taste the biscoff. The staff were friendly and gave wonderful recommendations. Parking - within the plaza

My husband and I try a new coffee shop every Friday and this was next on our list to try. They have plenty of indoor seating and a drive through for quick access. The staff is super nice and attentive, helped with suggestions which made navigating the menu easy. We thought the coffee was really good, I got the biscoff latte which was sweet but absolutely delicious 10/10 recommend. My husband got a cold brew with vanilla and I really like their coffee, the taste I think is really good and that english muffin sandwich was absolutely amazing, if your debating food definitely get something! This spot will be added into our rotation!

The best black sesame latte in Houston…read more I'm always looking for black sesame flavored drinks ever since I tried it in Seattle, so I was excited that TwoTone had it. The nuttiness of the sesame goes SOOO well with the espresso taste and it's a good creaminess too. I also like the texture of the bits of sesame seeds in the drink. The aesthetic of the cafe is modern with street-style flairs, it's a really cool space. I also love that there are Filipino flavors on the menu like ube and pandan. Most workers are super nice and say your name like they know you. They're also super attentive to ensure that everything with your order is perfect. Jonah was very welcoming and helpful, making sure we got a menu while in line! The weekdays seem to be better for wait-time, with little to no wait. The weekends however are packed and usually have lines. If you're not a line person, I would definitely come on a weekday. TwoTone is probably the best specialty coffee you can get in Houston, especially in terms of Asian flavors and creaminess. If it was closer to inner Houston, I would probably come here everyday.

My first visit was a 1star but I gave it a second try because a friend asked me to…read more I was told that this was an amazing new coffee shop and just happened to be on my route to work. It's off the feeder road of I-10 and in an inconspicuous place. It's a retail space and at first glance it looks empty and kind of shady granted, I was there around 7 AM. It may be busier and more lively later in the day or on weekends. In any case I pulled up and I saw their sign, but I was kind of concerned that it was closed because you couldn't see through the windows and again the parking lot just looked empty . I went to the door and went in. It's a very minimalist space and the decor of cold concrete floors matched the attitude and personalities of the people working that day. I was never graded, and there were a couple people sitting, waiting for coffees... There was no menu to be seen at first glance but I have a very simple order that I had in my mind because I like espresso and not sweet sugary drinks. I walked up to the register and there was a young girl who just looked at me like I was bothering her her by being in front of her. She never smiled, and she just waited for me to order. I told her good morning and she replied "Morning"...barely opened her mouth, not welcoming (or sincerity) and no smile. My order was simple.: three shots of espresso, 2 ounces of half-and-half and caramel drizzle mixed in the espresso. She looked at me weird and said ...so you want a latte? I said no not at all because I only want 2 ounces of half-and-half. I don't want all the milk of a latte. She didn't look down at the computer and kind of looked behind at a barista, and then looked back at the computer and said we do our shots in doubles .... Meaning she wouldn't give me only three shots I had to buy four. I thought that was interesting since other local shops indulge me without an issue, but I agreed to four shots. She asked me if that was it and I said yes..... I was very surprised but paid over $10 for my order of one drink! I paid because honestly, I was already ready to get out. I paid and I waited about 15 minutes for my coffee, even though there was only one person waiting for their coffee before me. I got my drink and left before tasting it. It was awful. The pull was not done well and the coffee tasted almost sour. Ugh. I was so disappointed. The very next day, my coworker said give it another try maybe it was just an off day . She also said she'd buy my coffee to make up for it so I couldn't turn that down This time I went a little bit later there was about three people in line before me. They had a lot more staff working probably about five people in total versus three the previous day. There was a different girl to front who took my order and was the total opposite of the lady the day before; bright eyed, kind and very welcoming. My coffee was still over $10 and this time it took me 35 minutes to get my coffee. I don't know if they had DoorDash orders or what, but I couldn't understand why there was a lot more workers and it took double the time to get my coffee. Once I got my coffee, it did taste better than my first visit, but still had a little bit of sour taste... Not as much as before though. Even if it ended up tasting better, I could not validate paying $10 for my coffee and waiting up to 35 minutes for it.. Especially when I can go to any of my other local coffee shops that I normally frequent for a less than $5 coffee (that only has three shots that I want) and the great service and flavor is always consistent. I never want to see any business fail. So I hope that the owners will discuss the importance of consistency in making their product, as well as being hospitable. There are so many coffee shops in Houston that one could choose from.

It was late in the day but the laidback decorated space was packed, music not too loud with a pleasant vibe. I asked if I could get the pistachio dream with oatmilk and the server recommended against it saying it would make the drink too sweet. I appreciated her honest advice and got the dragonfruit strawberry refresher instead. It was definitely refreshing with the perfect amount of ice to keep it cold but not water it down. I also tried one of the mini croissants which is probably what will keep me coming back. Flaky and full of high quality cheese and spices, I wish I had gotten two!
