This place was a hit! I was visiting from out of town and my host brought me here. Ambience, 10/10: the place was well kept, great music, and seemed to be well managed from the time I was there. I went on a weekend so it was busy, but it wasn't unbearable. They have a decent amount of outdoor seating which was nice. Staff, 10/10: no complaints here! They were extremely patient with me upon ordering when I had a lot of questions, even though there were people waiting behind me. They were informative, had great energy, and were also hustling to get people their orders as quickly as possible Food/Drinks, 10/10: As a vegan, coffee shops can be hit or miss, especially on the food. Having clearly labeled vegan options made it easy for me to have confidence with my choice (vegan all day). The bread was perfectly warm but not hard. Great flavor. I also asked for a matcha with strawberry puree & no foam to meet my dietary needs. It was delicious! The person I was with had no the smoked salmon avocado toast and what I recall to be the amazon cloud. She rated them both 10/10 with no hesitation. Very flavorful and refreshing. I haven't been here in a long while. I wanted something different so I finally tried the bagel and lox with tea lemonade. They are located right off of a Main Street, parking is easy and they have outside and inside seating. The sandwich was really good on an everything bagel. One of my goto panini sandwiches in town! Buzz & Bites has been a staple for me. I always recommend the Chicken Mozzarella & the Spicy Asian Chicken (a favorite of my mother!) The Chicken Mozzarella panini is prepared so spectacularly here. Grilled chicken, mozzarella, onion, sundried tomato, arugula, and aioli on a ciabatta bread. I've been coming here since opening and this has been their #1 panini for me. I wish they still had their homemade chips, they were a wonderful pairing with their paninis. I recommend ordering their tater tots as a side. The Spicy Asian Chicken is essentially a Vietnamese Banh mi with aioli on a panini. Grilled chicken, homemade butter, pickled carrots, cucumber, cilantro, and spicy aioli on a ciabatta bread. Quite genius and so delicious! Sometimes I just don't want the mess of a baguette and rather have the ciabatta bread and aioli sauce haha. I believe this is one of their most top selling sandwiches as well. In my opinion the coffee here is okay, I've tried over the years their pistachio, pumpkin, tofee, tex pecan lattes and haven't really found anything that has satisfied me. Perhaps I am a bit too picky with coffee as I frequent too many coffee shops but to each and their own. They have fresh pastries prepared everyday and they're delicious. Family favorites here are the Pistachio Muffins and the Danishes. It's a great cafe that I use to frequent when I was studying for my certifications. Inside there is one large community table and a handful more of tables. There's also a patio outside to enjoy the nicer weather. As far as I can remember, this place has been a staple in the Spring Branch spot of Houston for several years. One of the more popular coffee spots in Houston, there is quite a bit to like about this neighborhood favorite. First, you can start with the coffee drinks. Whether your a basic coffee person or a boujee connoisseur, there's a variety of coffee-sorted beverages to get your day started. The texas pecan latte is one of my favorites; the pecan flavor hits hard combined with the milk foam. As for eats, there's breakfast items and sandwiches/pananis to pair with your coffee. The smoked salmon avocado toast is a banger with the capers, onions, and pesto. The interior has a lot of yellow (if that color is your thing) with some tablees and high-top seating. If it gets cramped, there's some outdoor seating. Each table has plugs for electronics if you need to work. Servers bring items to you upon ordering and are friendly. This is probably the 10th (or 15th) time I've visited here over the course of a few years, and I'm a huge fan of it clearly! I used to come here to study during college and nowadays work remotely on occasion. There are a few larger tables (4-6 people), some smaller ones, and seating outside for good weather days. It is usually packed inside 50% of the time, but I've always been able to find some seating. Not every table has convenient access to an outlet though so something to note! Service here has always been very friendly, zero complaints. Both their food and drink menus are solid, I'm a huge advocate for their coffee drinks! The only critique I have is towards their matcha drinks. I was a bit disappointed by what tasted like sugary, vanilla milk and lacked a deeper, green color like you would typically expect of a matcha latte. I know this place isn't particularly known for their matcha, but to pay $6-7 for what looks like pistachio milk is not what I expect from an average matcha latte. I would steer clear of their matcha drinks for now and opt for their coffee drinks instead, which have all been great based off of what I've tried. read more

I've stopped by a couple times with my coworkers for matcha runs. It's a really cute spot and they're not usually very busy. The baristas are very nice, so it's quickly becoming our go-to spot. I typically order the Strawberry Matcha Cloud and its delicious. They sweeten the matcha with sweetened condensed milk and it gives it such a nice flavor. Today we stopped by for lunch, I ordered the Queen Bee Wrap and it was very good. The pickled onions added a nice crunch and the aioli had a nice flavor. I also tried my coworkers Avocado Chicken Wrap and the flavor was good but it was a bit too cheesy. My other coworker had a burger with an egg on top and he really liked it. They have a variety of breakfast option, but I opted in a caprese panini w/ grilled chicken and it was decent (6/10). One of my new favorite finds this year! I came here with my cousins for lunch and I was so impressed with our food and drinks that I had to come back a second time the next week after. I got the Chicken Avocado Wrap and then the Chicken Mozzarella (added pesto) and both with tater tots. BOTH SO GOOD! I think I liked the chicken mozzarella just a little bit more because I loved the ciabatta bread. Very flavorful, plenty of food, and the tater tots are super crispy. I also got the Strawberry Passion Lemonade and it was really good! My cousins said the Iced Pumpkin Spiced Latte and Tropical Island Smoothie were really good as well. Cute little spot with a nice patio. I was greeted when I walked in but that was about it. I did stop and look at the big menu on the wall since I did not know what I wanted and did not want to be in the way. I ordered then sat outside done it was such a nice day and all the tables were full inside. The patio is really peaceful until other people in groups come I ordered the avocado croissant sandwich which came with bacon and hollandaise sauce. It came out hot and crispy just the way I like my food. The bacon was crispy and the bread was toasted with a little extra brown on the edges. The honey Jasmine lemonade was surprisingly good. Came here to brunch the other day since I went to the Buzz & Bites location in Katy, and I was not disappointed!! This location is a bit smaller than the Katy location but there was lots of indoor and outdoor seating which was nice! I got an iced chai latte and the Stinger Burger (my FAVORITE) and my friend got the iced caramel crisp and the Turkey & Swiss Panini. We really enjoyed our drinks, I really liked my iced chai!! My friend really liked the Turkey & Swiss Panini and I loved my Stinger Burger!! The Stinger Burger tasted exactly like the one I had at the Katy location so it's nice to know that both locations are consistent with their food! I also liked the tater tots that came with my burger. As for service, everyone was really nice. Went to one of my favorite latte/croissant breakfast cafe spots today!! Today was special because I tried the matcha waffle. Wow, it was delicious! It had condensed milk, strawberries and it normally comes with ice cream but I got the kiddo one and added the condensed milk since I substituted the whipped cream for ice cream. Not sure if that made sense but I think it was cheaper to get the kiddo waffle! It was so delicious! Nice crisp to it, great matcha flavor, fluffy texture and the condensed milk was all the sweetness needed. They gave syrup but it didn't need any. I normally get an ube or lavender latte, but this time I got a regular chai latte. I think I'll have one of those other flavors next time since I like those flavors better. UBE CLOUD: If you don't stir it to mix the flavor, it's just a very strong espresso flavor at the bottom. But if you do mix it, the purple goes away and it looks like a regular coffee lol but then it also tastes a lot better. CARAMEL CRISP: My bf said all he tasted was caramel. No vanilla, no brown sugar. So that was a bit disappointing. But aside from that, it was a good, standard, caramel coffee. TEXAS MELT: It was good, but it's a pretty simple sandwich. The egg kind of overpowered everything else. I felt like it was overpriced for what it was. SPICY ASIAN CHICKEN PANINI: I really wanted to like this, and based off of other reviews, it was supposed to be really good, so I may have just gotten a bad one, but there was almost no chicken in here. It felt like I was eating a pickled carrot sandwich 90% of the time. The only part that felt like it had chicken was the center of the sandwich and that was probably because I could see it in the cross-section. I enjoy pickled carrots, but not at the expense of tasting what little chicken there was. Stopped by here with with a friend on a Friday afternoon around 1 PM. The cafe was super crowded but thankfully we were able to grab a seat. You put your order in at the register first. They then give you your number and bring your items directly to you even as if you have a to go order. The employees at the register were very friendly. Additionally, you receive 10% off when you check in so make sure to check in to Yelp before you order! We shared a MATCHA LATTE. I don't like ice cubes in my drinks so they were able to make it without ice. The matcha latte was a bit too sweet but the flavor was great and it was so creamy. My friend and I drank it so quickly! Our other item, COWBOY BURGER, took longer to come out but the flavor was very good and it was topped with a beautiful brioche bun. The only complaint I would have about the burger itself was just that it was a tad dry but otherwise the flavor was great and I would not hesitate to order it again. The tater tots that accompany the burger were fresh out of the fryer and nice and crispy. Flavor was good but could have used just a touch more salt. All in all, a great cafe with nice vibes. I usually bring my staff homemade Danish on Saturdays when we work and it's been a hit! Today I'm enjoying a medium oat cap and avocado croissant. My 16oz drink has a good flavor medium bodied and my croissant came out quickly. It's a great size very flaky and my bacon is crunchy and good amount of egg and avocado.
