The expresso drinks are robust & not too sweet. When I walked in & saw they have 4 oz & 8oz cups in addition to the larger ones I knew I was gonna be ok ordering my cortado with vanilla. For milk alternatives, they have oat & almond, not soy milk. The place was pretty empty. Service was fast. The inside is a bit minimalistic. They have tables & chairs, no sofas. The chairs are the hard white metal type which to me can get uncomfortable after sitting for awhile. They have outdoor seating, again with metal tables & chairs. For me it's not the most cozy/comfortable environment to hangout & do work but it's a very clean, quiet vibe. If I hadn't read that it was an Australian inspired chain, I would not have known from just being inside. I'd visit them again. read more

Great coffee shop with ample seating inside and outside. I got an iced pumpkin spice latte with oat milk and some avocado toast. The latte was absolutely delicious one of the best lattes I have ever had. The avocado toast on the other hand lacked flavor and did not taste fresh at all. I also feel that the prices were astronomical. I had a regular size latte and a piece of avocado toast that tasted awful and it was $23. I do not plan on rushing back here but if I do go back I will only stick with a latte. read more

Very disappointed with the Blue Stone Lane location at Post Oak Plaza. My wife ordered a smoothie that was completely bland, lacking any flavor. On top of that, the restrooms were extremely dirty, and the overall cleanliness of the café was unacceptable. This was my first time going to Bluestone Lane as I saw it driving by. From what I ordered it was good! I got an Iced Latte with oatmilk, vanilla syrup and cinnamon made decaf and it was honestly tasty. The espresso tasted good and the flavor of the drink was perfect. My only complaint is that it could've used just a little more sugar for my liking but I can tweak that if I ever return! I also tried the Chocolate Chip Sea Salt Cookie which was just okay and kind of underwhelming and overpriced. It tasted like an average chocolate chip cookie and wasn't really anything special for $5. I was hoping they would've put the sea salt on top as advertised. Overall I didn't try any of their entrees or hot foods but maybe in the future! I did like how fast and convenient ordering on the app was. First time here, I love the ambience of the restaurant. I was a little disappointed because I like my coffee in a real coffee cup not paper. The coffee was delicious and hot. This review is solely for the new Summer Banana Cream Matcha Latte! I have tried their matcha beverages in the past, and admittedly been disappointed in their lack of consistency when it comes to properly blending their matcha to a smooth consistency. However, this beverage is on a different level. Light, creamy banana topping with smooth matcha underneath, and dusted with cinnamon on top- this is one of my favorite matcha lattes in Houston. I have slowly been trying them with every milk option available and they are all delicious. Not too sweet and not a hint of fake banana sweetness. I will be incredibly sad when this drink moves out of rotation so I am drinking it as much as possible until then. The cafe is always clean and pretty, and because I order mine ahead on an app it is easier to walk in and grab. I recommend it to all of my matcha friends. read more

Replacing another coffee shop, this spot is clean, bright, serene (leaning into the calming blue and aqua color scheme), and filled with almost convincing faux plants. Now, like most restaurants and cafes at the moment, they're understaffed, but trying their best. I came in, and placed an order to go. Two coffees, an avo toast and a breakfast burrito. My entire experience, preorder to receiving my order was well beyond 10 minutes, I'd say about 20, but my order was correct, and everyone was nice. I would have appreciated expectation being set incase I was in a hurry, but again, I think they're trying their best. Since the franchise is not from the states, here are a few helpful notes: Magic=cortado piccolo=espresso shot filled to top with milk in a traditional macchiato 4oz cup. Flat white and long black- try the flat white if you like Cortados and lattes. Try a long black if you're an Americano fan. Our coffees were fine, and the food was good, but my fav part was their visible equity pride and blm window clings. For that reason alone, I'll be back to try more! read more

A cute little coffee place that's great to meet up or get some work done. It was a bit hard to find at first because the center is going through construction right now but luckily it's still open and there's plenty of parking. The coffee is pretty good and a decent price. I got an iced mocha which was good. I love how bold the coffee is and how rich the mocha was. I also like that their menu is pretty varied and you can get smoothies or juice if you're not in the coffee mode and even get some food while you're there. The pastries are also pretty good. I tried the danish and it was delicious! The service was great and the staff working was super friendly. I would definitely come back! read more

Very cute coffee shop in Post Oaks Plaza! There's a lot of construction around the area right now, so it's not super peaceful, but I'm sure the ambiance will be even better once the work is finished. The barista was super friendly and prepared the coffee quickly. Unfortunately, I didn't love the taste of the coffee--I thought it was way too strong for a latte, and the vanilla syrup they added must have been unsweetened, since I didn't taste it at all. Stopped by Bluestone Lane to grab a quick snack after making returns at UPS. The cafe was extremely clean and well maintained from what I could see and wasn't overly crowded. There were maybe 7 patrons seated; either talking or doing some work on their laptops. I looked through the menu and got help from the cashier on what I should order. I ended up getting the peanut butter and berry toast. It took all of 5 mins for it to be ready and despite it being good, it was almost $7 for a slice of bread. I probably won't ever go back because the prices are outrageous but it makes for a great space to get work done. read more

Very happy they substituted a coffee shop for another coffee/brunchy shop! Got the Aussie iced latte and the nitro cold brew! Both were very good. The Aussie iced latte has a scoop of Icecream inside and that's what sweetens the coffee itself. The cold brew was very strong! The sunshine burrito was very good! A little pricy for the size of the burrito, but overall filling and everything inside of it was tasty. They also have smoothies and other breakfast/food items and pastries and cookies as well. This is my second coming to Bluestone & I'm always impressed with their coffee's deliciousness. They now have 3 locations in the Houston area. Unfortunately, this Galleria location's plaza is under a lot of CONSTRUCTION. It doesn't take away from the inside of the business but the outside is a bit chaotic. Their coffee has a strong smooth finish that's not acidic at all. I got the AUSSIE ICED LATTE & it does come with a scoop of ICE CREAM in the coffee. The ice cream melts & makes the drink more creamy but it doesn't really get sweeter. Melbourne is known as the coffee capital of Australia & the coffee at Bluestone tastes just like what I had when I visited. This location has more of a CAFE VIBE compared to the other locations where it's more of a sit-down restaurant style. However, there are not a lot of OUTLETS here if the plan is to stay awhile. read more

I met a colleague there for a cup of coffee. I ordered an iced latte with preferably 2% milk. They had neither 2% nor even whole milk, which is typically what a latte is made with. They only had ski. After my very bland iced coffee I ordered what sounded to be a good smoothie and one typical you might find at most higher end smoothie places (i .e. not smoothie king). This had the consistency of a slushy and the taste of water. It was so bland that I went back to the barista and said could they add some additional honey or almond butter. She said 'no' they have a recipe to stick by but that I could order a different one. Well I didn't want a different one, but I suggested they could increase the ingredients to make it taste better. She scoffed at the suggestion. Turned around and totally ignored me. So for me, the food and the service were very very subpar! read more

I was so looking forward to trying Bluestone for brunch, but I was not pleased. Everything seemed to have been taken directly out of the refrigerator, except for the scorched scrambled eggs. The server didn't seem to understand the word "scorched", but eventually I got a replacement order. Unfortunately, I had ordered two sides of eggs. Outside was gross. Couch looked like something you would find on the curb completely uncleaned. Could've gotten my masters by the time the barista had even acknowledged our order. 1/3 of the order was the intricate recipe of an ice water. -Chai latte "I think it's good." -Iced chai "Feels like after you eat a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch." What a gem to find this cute little shop. I wanted tea while I'm traveling and didn't want Starbucks. After a quick Google search, I found this cute little coffee shop. When arriving, the menu was very clear and I was greeted and the staff was kind. While waiting for me teas, a gentleman was looking at coffee bags, and I had asked him what his favorite was. He stated this was his first time in, him and his wife are traveling through as well. We got to speaking with the couple, what a wonderful experience in the coffee shop, we met some new friends, as well as enjoyed tea and coffee. The barista was extremely sweet, giving me some extra honey for my teas. It's the little things that matter. I would definitely recommend this spot as a place to relax and drink some tea and coffee do some work or meet up with some friends. Ill be stopping here on my way out of town today again! :) read more

It may have been an off day. I ordered a drip coffee and it wasn't very hot. I also ordered the croissant egg sandwich. I asked for the eggs to be scrambled soft and the croissant toasted well. I am addicted to their nitro cold brew! It's sooo smoothly and so creamy!! I order it with a splash of oatmilk and vanilla. 2 suggestions for improvement- sipping lids. I like to sip the foam from my nitro but they only have the straw lids so I can't do that without taking the whole lid off. Second suggestion- add more syrups! Lastly, their nespresso pods are SO good! I love the dark espresso roast pods. They are cheaper than nespresso pods and just as good or even slightly better. I haven't tried their food yet but it looks good! read more

Bluestone has the best coffee I've tasted in a while. I love their cold brew and their americanos. They are made perfectly. This particular bluestone has the kindest baristas. The ambience is so upbeat and it's a great place to have meetings. Also, Melissa is the best barista ever she always remembers my order.
